Disappointing from the Start – Not Worth the Price We booked an all-inclusive family vacation expecting peace, comfort, and a stress-free environment. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the experience has been marked by one issue after another. Despite booking as a family, we were given two separate rooms because no family room was available. One of the rooms cannot be locked at all – the door simply opens with a light push. The second room has a different but equally serious problem: the terrace door doesn’t close properly, offering zero privacy and raising safety concerns. These aren’t just minor inconveniences – they’re fundamental issues, especially when you’re traveling with small children. Feeling safe and secure is the bare minimum one should expect from a hotel in this price range. To make matters worse, I went to brush my teeth and suddenly found my feet soaked – the drain in the bathroom isn’t sealed properly. It’s shocking to see such basic maintenance problems in a hotel that charges nearly €3000. Instead of relaxing, we’ve spent the beginning of our holiday managing technical faults and chasing fixes. For the price we paid, we expected professionalism, quality, and peace of mind. Sadly, this stay has been the exact opposite – and it’s put a serious damper on our entire vacation. Unbearable Noise – Ongoing Renovations Without Warning As if the first day wasn’t frustrating enough, the second morning brought an even bigger surprise – the hotel is undergoing major renovations. From early in the morning, we were greeted not by the sounds of the sea or birdsong, but by relentless drilling, angle grinders, and hammering echoing through the walls. There was no prior warning about any construction work when we booked or checked in. It’s absolutely unacceptable to charge premium prices for a stay in what feels like an active construction site. So much for rest and relaxation – this so-called holiday has become a test of patience. Super vacation for all that money, indeed.

A Relaxing Winter Escape We recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at R2 Pajara Beach Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were brilliant—always friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay special. The food was another highlight, catering wonderfully for vegetarians with plenty of delicious options. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hotel provided a truly relaxing atmosphere for a winter break. The animation team was excellent, keeping us entertained without being intrusive—just the right balance! The pool area is hands-down the best we've ever seen. Spacious, well-designed, and perfect for unwinding, it quickly became our favorite spot. The entire hotel, including the pool area, was spotlessly clean, with even the bins looking shiny and well-maintained! Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for relaxation, great food, and outstanding service!

The hotel is very old and needs renovation. It’s not suitable for young people, as most guests are elderly. Rooms and beds have ants and insects, and the wooden bed frames should be replaced. Drink options are limited, and cocktails aren’t good. Despite paying for all-inclusive, premium drinks cost extra, and only cheap ones are free. Service stops at 11 PM, and after that, everything is chargeable. The indoor pool and jacuzzi aren’t included. The snack bar is disappointing—mostly restaurant leftovers. The building is outdated, housekeeping isn’t great, and even pool towels cost extra. The atmosphere is dull, with only two hours of music by the pool. The hotel’s high rating is undeserved. Positives: Good food with variety, friendly staff, nice pools, and a beachfront location.

Overall a nice place to stay. Would come back without hesitation. The hotel is a little old but clean. The food is tasty and there is good choice (ok for vegetarians). The beach is around 200m far but not a problem for us. Most guests were seniors but again not a problem for our young family. The only thing I mind is that the hotel is not smoking-free and many people smoke on the main terrace (next to the restaurant).

Checked out of this hotel today, here is my review ... Cleanliness - For such a big hotel, the cleanliness is spot on. Anytime I went to a communal toilet it was spot on! Food - SO much food, every meal time! All cooked okay and a great selection. My only criticism would be, the grill stations rushed, and sometimes the meat was not cooked properly. Hotel - just beautiful! Housekeeping - AMAZING! Our room was always so lovely to go back to at the end of the day. Fresh towels daily etc., if you require. Location - the clue is in the name! If you are looking for nightlife or a wild night, I would not recommend it here. But if you wish for a chilled/quite break then this is the place to go! NYE - piano player at breakfast, band outside in the afternoon, sado player at dinner, entertainment followed by DJ and fireworks - what a surprise they were! Staff - All staff from animation to food & beverage to housekeeping to reception, very friendly and professional. Especially Priscilla at reception, she is just awesome!
