Perched on the beautiful shores of Fuerteventura's Costa Calma, the R2 Pájara Beach Hotel & Spa stands as the peak of luxury and tranquillity. Its distinctive curved architecture offers fantastic views of the azure Atlantic, ensuring that every moment is accompanied by breathtaking sea views. The hotel offers both a buffet restaurant serving a selection of local and international dishes, and an a la carte restaurant with a specially curated menu. Just returned from a week's stay here,from the moment of our arrival we found the staff very friendly and very efficient. The room was a bit tired,but as others have said renovation is going on, the noise was an issue if you went back to your room later in the afternoon, before dinner ,on a couple of occasions work did go on until nearly 7pm. We had a very relaxing time the pools are lovely, a short stroll to the beach, the grounds are lovely ,colourful and well maintained,the sea view sunbeds which you can hire for the day are worth it ,with numbers 4, 5, 6, or 7 seeming to have the best views of the sea. The food was excellent, with a very good choice at every meal , my wife thought some of the food could have been a little hotter ,finding somethings luke warm, but was more than happy with the fresh crispy salads, for me it produced the best full English breakfast I have had outside the UK. We would be more than happy to return here hopefully in a refurbished room when the renovation is complete.

We had a really good time at this hotel. The food was excellent, with a wide selection for every meal, so everyone was sure to find something they liked. There was no problem with sunbeds. Two negatives: - the hotel is old, and our room had a terrible smell in the closet, so we couldn't unpack (renovations are currently underway, so maybe things will improve soon). - no cleaning staff at the pool area (lemon slices and used straws were left in the same place for days, and the tables near the sunbeds were dirty and never cleaned, causing annoying flies).

The grounds are so beautiful and very well maintained, the views of the ocean are just stunning. The rooms were acceptable and the hotel was undergoing renovations, which was a bit noisy at times, but it's good to see investment and improvements happening. The location is a little isolated but that wasn't a real issue for a good restful holiday. The staff could be a bit friendlier, sometimes they seemed offish. You need to make the clientele feel like you're delighted to have them stay, it really makes a lot of difference. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel for a holiday.

2nd time in a row staying here , we absolutely love this place ! Food is great so much variety throughout the day ! We stayed in a renovated room which was great ! We didn’t hear the construction. Entertainment every night ! This place is massive !! So much to do ! Another great holiday ! I will be back! We are still here at the moment day 2 and already taking about returning again next year!

We had a great time at R2 Pájara Beach Hotel! The whole resort is pretty big, which gives you plenty of space to relax and explore. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and were happy with both the food and drinks — there was always enough and the variety was solid. The pool is large, so finding a spot to chill out was never an issue, even during busy hours. Throughout the day, the hotel organizes different activities to keep you entertained — and that continues into the evening with fun events and good vibes at the bars. The staff were all really kind and helpful, which added a nice touch to the stay. The hotel is located right by a peaceful, almost empty beach that’s absolutely beautiful — perfect for long walks or just relaxing without crowds. About a 10-minute walk from the hotel you’ll also find a supermarket, car rental services, and plenty of souvenir shops, so unless you’re planning to explore the entire island, you won’t necessarily need a car to enjoy your stay here. The only downside? Because the hotel is built into a hillside and designed in tiers, getting around can take a bit of time. Sometimes you even have to take two different elevators to reach certain areas, which isn’t ideal if you’re in a hurry. And although the place was generally clean and well-maintained, we did spot a cockroach in our room — not the highlight of the trip, but it didn’t ruin our experience. All in all, a solid holiday spot if you’re looking to relax, eat well, and soak up the Canarian sun with everything taken care of.
