It’s a great experience and an interesting hotel. I love the fact that it’s an old CRUISE SHIP with so much of history and today this has been repurposed and it’s an amazing opportunity to enjoy the cruise life without the craziness of the deep sea. The breakfast is very nice so lots of options and it’s very tasty. Views from the ship decks are nice. Right now there’s lots of construction going on around the hotel, but I guess soon it will be even more beautiful than it’s already is. The staff are great and always helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and I do think we have to experience it at least once.

The ship is beautiful despite it needing some work to improve the outside and inside. Starting with the external, the top deck and the hull of the ship need some work. It’s clear that overtime since the refurbishment the ship has started to decline and the lack of outside space to sit and chill in the sun is a real let down. Our room was fine, clean to a level but it lacked space to store clothes and felt a little claustrophobic, our fault really should have opted for a room with a balcony. Facilities are hit and miss. The food is excellent, we enjoyed every meal and the option for a roast dinner with gravy is a winner for me. The service in the restaurant isn’t very good in that they don’t really offer drinks or replace the water on the table enough. I do have to say that the ladies who greet you are lovely but the waiting staff a bar staff really need to improve. We stayed over new year and I was quite shocked that there was a lack of anything really going on. For the whole week we never saw any of the bars manned or open with a lack of outdoor options this made it difficult to find anything to do. The ship is iconic and I’m glad I stayed there but just feel like it could be so much more. A revamp, improved outdoor space and good service would make this an ideal place to stay given the location. If you want good food and a comfortable stay and don’t mind average customer service then give this place a try. Like I said I enjoyed my stay

QE2 is truly a 5-star experience in every way. From the moment you arrive, the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail are outstanding. The rooms are luxurious, the restaurants are top quality, and the entire hotel feels vibrant and full of life. The swimming , pools, and facilities are perfect for families and couples alike. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional specially mr dipesh from Housekeeping Every corner of the hotel is beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere is unforgettable. If you want a perfect getaway with world-class service and endless activities, QE2 is absolutely the place to be. Highly recommended! Rooms: 5/5 | Service

The QE2 is a super interesting hotel to stay in and truly special to feel a part of history. We stayed in a standard room which was compact but had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We went half board and unfortunately there was not a lot of food options for myself as a vegan, although I did always have enough to eat. Proximity to old town Dubai and the metro and bus station was only a 10 minute walk.

The front desk team was excellent. We arrived at 2AM in the morning and they took care of us immediately. Also, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and amazing. The service and the quality and variety of the food was excellent. I did get lost trying to find my way around the boat a few times, but it was part of the experience. My room was surprisingly spacious, clean and comfortable and the room extras such as robe, shampoo etc... were very good. The gym was good but a few of the machines needed repairs but there was plenty of other ones to do. I did not use the pool, but it looked very cleaned, small and well-kept and also, it had a lifeguard. I did not mind the location because it is very easy to get an Uber but definitely far from the Dubai action. Also, I like the quiet in the morning's decks and reading areas. I found this hotel very unique, interesting and all around comfortable. Overall, I will definitely stay again at QE2 and I am recommending it to my friends.
