There’s a truly homely and welcoming atmosphere here. The front desk team is outstanding—both friendly and professional. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with none of the frustrating system delays I often encounter in the city. Concierge and security were equally helpful, making the whole experience seamless. This place is perfect for a special escape—romantic getaways, families, academics needing a break, and even wives looking for a well-deserved timeout! I loved seeing a nice mix of locals and international guests. It’s a brilliantly run business that doesn’t seem to seek the spotlight, perhaps intentionally, but it’s clear that some very smart people are behind it. Highly recommended!

Staying at the Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel was a truly unique and memorable experience! The customer service was exceptional—the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel boasts wonderful amenities, including a small but great pool, perfect for a relaxing dip. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is rich in history, adding to its charm. One of the highlights was the stunning views, including a breathtaking sight of Burj Khalifa, making it a fantastic place to unwind. The restaurants at QE2 offer a fantastic dining experience, with great food and a lovely ambiance. Whether for relaxation or an unforgettable getaway, this hotel has it all. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Ahmed at the reception during my stay and I must say, his service was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Ahmed welcomed me with a warm smile and a level of professionalism that immediately set the tone for a wonderful experience. He was incredibly attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable. going out of his way to ensure my check-in process was smooth and stress-free. Ahmed embodies what great customer service should look like. His positive attitude, attention to detail, and dedication to guest satisfaction did not go unnoticed. He is truly an asset to the Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel team, and I hope to see him again on my next visit. Highly commendable!

I was really looking forward to staying on the Queen Elizabeth 2, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The rooms are quite dated and didn’t feel properly cleaned. The roof of the shower area was honestly disgusting, with visible mould and grime that made it uncomfortable to even look at. The bathroom overall was in poor condition, with dirty grout and mould in the corners – it clearly hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. The bed was okay – not terrible, but definitely nothing special or particularly comfortable. The ship itself felt very empty, which added to the strange and underwhelming atmosphere. The worst part, however, was the reception and service. Our key card wasn’t activated properly, and with only two staff at the front desk, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to sort it out. Check-in also took about 30 minutes. The staff seemed slow and inefficient, taking their time with everything – it just didn’t make sense how disorganised everything was. Overall, the experience was disappointing. It has potential, but it really needs a serious upgrade in both cleanliness and customer service.

To our surprise and delight, she kindly arranged for an upgrade to our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated.
