It’s a great experience and an interesting hotel. I love the fact that it’s an old CRUISE SHIP with so much of history and today this has been repurposed and it’s an amazing opportunity to enjoy the cruise life without the craziness of the deep sea. The breakfast is very nice so lots of options and it’s very tasty. Views from the ship decks are nice. Right now there’s lots of construction going on around the hotel, but I guess soon it will be even more beautiful than it’s already is. The staff are great and always helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and I do think we have to experience it at least once.

The ship is beautiful despite it needing some work to improve the outside and inside. Starting with the external, the top deck and the hull of the ship need some work. It’s clear that overtime since the refurbishment the ship has started to decline and the lack of outside space to sit and chill in the sun is a real let down. Our room was fine, clean to a level but it lacked space to store clothes and felt a little claustrophobic, our fault really should have opted for a room with a balcony. Facilities are hit and miss. The food is excellent, we enjoyed every meal and the option for a roast dinner with gravy is a winner for me. The service in the restaurant isn’t very good in that they don’t really offer drinks or replace the water on the table enough. I do have to say that the ladies who greet you are lovely but the waiting staff a bar staff really need to improve. We stayed over new year and I was quite shocked that there was a lack of anything really going on. For the whole week we never saw any of the bars manned or open with a lack of outdoor options this made it difficult to find anything to do. The ship is iconic and I’m glad I stayed there but just feel like it could be so much more. A revamp, improved outdoor space and good service would make this an ideal place to stay given the location. If you want good food and a comfortable stay and don’t mind average customer service then give this place a try. Like I said I enjoyed my stay

Overall, it was a very good experience. The food was good, room service was excellent, and the stay on the cruise was enjoyable. The only disappointment was that the reception did not accommodate our room change request on Day 2, even though the Classic room felt small and there were water flow issues in the bathroom and wash basin. A special mention to the concierge team for their excellent luggage pick-up and drop service, as well as the warm welcome and send-off. Overall, the cruise stay was a memorable and pleasant experience.

We stayed over the New Years period as the QE2 offered affordable rates even given the time of the year. We booked a Captains Room which appeared to be newly renovated and was large and well appointed - we were very comfortable for our stay in this this room. Overall it appeared that the QE2 could do with some maintenance. We explored the boat and while some of the public areas appear to have been updated other decks seem in original condition and the outside decks are warped and if felt like she just needed a bit of TLC. We attended the New Years gala which was great, the food was amazing and overall we enjoyed the experience. The QE2 is a bit out of the way in Port Rashid, however we liked being away from the busy-ness and could easily get a taxi to the Dubai Mall and other areas.

QE2 is truly a 5-star experience in every way. From the moment you arrive, the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail are outstanding. The rooms are luxurious, the restaurants are top quality, and the entire hotel feels vibrant and full of life. The swimming , pools, and facilities are perfect for families and couples alike. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional specially mr dipesh from Housekeeping Every corner of the hotel is beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere is unforgettable.
