The hotel is very pleasant, with gorgeous green grounds and mature, tall trees providing ample shade. It's a peaceful place to relax and recharge. The pools are clean and comfortable. There are wonderful sun loungers on the beach and around the pools. The staff is impeccably polite and friendly. The rooms are a bit tired, with insufficient quantity power outlets and poorly designed entrance doors, but overall they are spacious and comfortable. The beach itself is a bit disappointing – it's certainly clean and well-maintained, but the water isn't the most beautiful color and it's completely calm (though many guests prefer this). The option to have breakfast with a sea view is a plus. The hotel's location is excellent. Overall, I highly recommend it.

service is really good, its almost like a 5 star hotel, the only thing is that most of the rooms are really dark and the bathrooms was smelly, but not from the dirt, but from the holes for water drains. other than that, everything was super clean, we enjoyed the pool, the water was really really clean and did not smell like chlorine at all which is surprising for me. We also enjoyed the tenis court, i recommend to reserve it in advance. The food in the beach club and in the hotel restaurant was AMAZING, i enjoyed every dish ive had, as well as the service. highly recommend this hotel and i would definitely come back again if im gonna visit sanur!!!

Firstly, the staff are truly the most helpful, lovely people and go above and beyond to help guests. I am only going to comment on the room we settled into for our stay in Puri Santrian Beach Resort. We ended up staying at the Premiere Rooms which is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this section of the resort which offers true 5 star accommodation. One of the Reception Staff Gung Mas was the most helpful and wonderful people. her aim was to make sure guests we were happy and comfortable. We cannot speak highly enough about her. The staff in general are very helpful and sincerely want to do their best for guests. From the luggage assistants, restaurant staff, cleaners, grounds staff and management, they are all genuinely interested in doing their best and the right thing by the guests. I would definitely request these rooms again upon my next visit to Sanur and our stay at this resort. Anne Melbourne Australia

Puri Santrian is a lush, beautiful beachside garden with a hotel/resort thoughtfully situated within it. Several beautiful pools, dining and sitting areas equipped with beach and poolside loungers, all nestled within lush gardens with sidewalks lined with sculptures and pagodas. The villas are well appointed and sparkling with generous space and modern touches. PS has some of the best beachfront available in the area, as boats cannot park anywhere in front of the property. Can’t say the same about most other places anywhere nearby. Within 300m left or right of the hotel, via the boardwalk (and bike) there are a variety of beachfront WARUNGS (food stalls) and small shops offering local fresh food and drinks. This is a true 10/10 stay. I haven’t a negative thing to say about it. We visited at the beginning of low season, (mid January) so there were considerably less guests than there would be during the high season. It felt quite private and serene.

I spent 2 nights here in a Santrian Club room. I did not enjoy this hotel at all. For the price, I could not believe the room. It was small, very dark, a little dank, and completely uncharming. The bathroom was functional but nothing nice. The buffet breakfast was plentiful but was quantity over quality and the restaurant food was not great, especially for the price. I had just spent 5 nights at a cheaper hotel in another area altogether and the food there was so much better and half the price. Whilst parts of the grounds were lovely and lush, the areas around the pools were all concrete and not inducive to laying to enjoy the sun with a book. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. They honestly seemed to be the only people in the whole place who were smiling. I've definitely realised big hotels (and Sanur) are not for me, but even if they were, I can't imagine I'd be impressed with this one. Honestly, I can't understand all the good reviews.
