The entrance to the hotel in the evenings is extremely busy , but the location can’t be better. The hotel is blocks of 3-4 story buildings . It has a beautiful garden .
The car park can be a problem .
The hotel reception was not as fancy as expected but the customer service is excellent .
The rooms refurbished and has a welcoming atmosphere. I got a garden view and a very quiet room .
The only downside is that there were mosquitos in the room .

Really nice hotel, ideal location as it is very close to the main areas we wanted to visit, the hotel itself was clean and fairly high standard. Not a 5 star but would certainly say it is good. Breakfast is lovely, it feels nice and fresh and the lady at the egg counter in the morning is lovely, she makes an effort with all the people staying at the hotel and even made an effort to say bye on our last day.

We checked into this hotel at approximately 3:30 AM after being robbed for $100,000+ worth of things at a villa nearby within hours of arriving to Marbella. While grateful they had room for us on short notice when I was uncomfortable staying in a villa being watched, there is nothing else nice I can say. For the amount you pay, about $2200 USD a night for us, the room was tiny, on the first floor, and the "balcony" with view of a walk way and stairs to the pool offered zero privacy. There was people standing right infront of it constantly, rendering it useless and uncomfortable. We are accustomed to staff at 5 star hotels being very sweet and friendly. To be honest we did not meet a SINGLE friendly or welcoming staff member here our entire stay. The gentlemen checking us in and out and situating us not ONCE showed an ounce of compassion for what we went through or bothered to make us feel better to be there. Rather, he made me feel worse and told us thieves have ENTERED their hotel, robbed guests, and have straight up stolen the SAFE BOXES before. According to him, someone was recently killed in the area by aggressive thieves. We did not expect much, but a friendly environment would have been nice or a small gesture for everything we went through. Instead, I felt the gentlemen were snobby themselves as if our traumatic experience of being robbed while home didnt matter. We've had better experiences in other 5 star hotels and would unfortunately not recommend this hotel or the Marbella area in general if you value your saftey, your belongings, and customer service.

Have stayed at this hotel several times a year for the past almost 4 years.
Previous years we absolutely loved it.
This June we visited and it was a totally different vibe.
Spending x4 nights in a suite over my birthday, the hotel staff couldn’t even manage a sweet sentiment. (Cupcake, Card etc).
Our neighbours in X block had late night parties every night & upon phoning reception they did nothing.
The overall vibe has gone down hill:
1) Room service forgot to clean,
2) Concierge would barely reply on their WhatsApp service and when they did, would book incorrect dates/times
3) Lena restaurant was a disaster.
4) Seagrill (dined x3 times as our favourite) but the fish was overcooked every time.
5) Service across the board is painfully slow.
I guess because the bench mark previously had been set at such a good standard, the huge decline was really felt.
The only amazing thing at PR is the breakfast. That is the best.
Sorry PR, we’ll be staying at Marbella club next time!

Unbelievable resort. Beautiful gardens, grounds close to beach and everything. Most accommodating staff.
Great breakfast buffet. Fantastic spa and service. Small boutique was wonderful. Room was spacious and well appointed.
