The hotel itself was lovely. Our room had a pool view and was comfortable and decently equipped. The location is another big plus – the beach is right across the street, which made it incredibly convenient for relaxing by the ocean, offering a beautiful place to unwind. Check in was delayed by an hour and once the check-in issue was sorted, everything else went smoothly, and I would still recommend this hotel for its location, although its a pretty old property.

️I had a wonderful stay at Princess Kamala Hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The beautiful beach is just 100 meters away, and my spacious bungalow nestled in the well-maintained artificial jungle was absolutely stunning. The pool was clean, with plenty of loungers and towels available. Overall, it was a week filled with relaxation and bliss. Highly recommend!

It was and it is still my one of the best decision to stay at princess kamala beachfront resort. From check-in to all the services i got there was priceless. Reception staff was so good to handle all my queries with pretty smile, esply. Ya Ya who was always responsive to all my queries.. 😊The ambiance and locality of the resort is itself a blessing in disguise. Beach is just few step away from the main entrance.
And neighboured is welcoming as well. I enjoyed chatting with many new faces there. Overall i had my fun while staying there and i will surely come back here !! 😊

This hotel is not as advertised in many ways. We booked thinking it was beach front, was disappointed when we got there as it’s not beachfront but on the street that the beach runs off which backs onto a car park. We stayed in the main part on the second floor, room was clean and big at max 3 star. Nice pool but quite dangerous. Very slippery, I saw a few people slip and one lady slipped over hurting herself badly. Breakfast was basic. Staff was stand-offish and not eager to please in their demeanour throughout the stay. The hotel also never replied to our email prior to arriving regarding our stay, it was ignored.

Tired, worn out, and in need of a refit, the name is misleading. It is not Beach Front. It is set back from the beach by a road and a river!
The room was more like a 3 star hotel, think a budget hotel and that would be more in line with this hotel. We were in a delux pool view, 2nd floor. It was not what we expected from what is a 5 star hotel. The room was just 2 twin beds pushed together, which is not the king size we booked. On opening the door to the room we were met with a damp odour and about 7 mosquitoes in the walk through from the door to the main room.
There was mould around the bottom of the bed valance, not a great start. The bathroom had a grubby feel and looked very old and tired... The WiFi in the room was 0.5mbps for the first 36 hours or so, even after the front desk had been contacted 3 times to rectify the issue. It was eventually fixed after I found the router and reset it...
The pool appears very nice but it is quite dangerous as it has large steps to get into it which are really slippy. Several kids slipped getting in and out. The swim up bar has seats but you have no step to get onto them so it's tough to get onto the seats in the pool as it is from a 1.4m depth.
The location was ok, it is on the main seaside road so there were plenty of options for food and drinks as well as shops with souvenirs.
Kamala as a location is great, just enough going on to keep you interested and quiet enough to allow you to relax. It's a real shame that this hotel didn't live up to expectations, we will be back but not to this hotel for sure!
