Had a lovely day at Princess Kamala. I had a swim out pool and it was absolutely tranquility very quiet. Definitely the best room in the house. The service is fantastic. It’s very Clean. It’s across the road from the beach next to 7-Eleven and all the shops and massages I love this area as it’s a lot quieter and I mean quieter in the sense that there’s no raging clubs like the Patong . I would like to shout out to the lady that cleaned my room every day her name is Lek she went beyond to make my stay even more enjoyable. I’ve had an injury so I spent a lot of time in my room and she was compassionate lovely and went beyond. I will definitely be staying here again. I loved it.

I will definitely come back here next time. This is my experience of my staying in Kamala and may not be the same with what others experienced. Because I’m an outdoor person, I hardly spend time in my room to notice the small details. That’s why this place is a perfect location for me. OK, great location I would say, it’s close to Kamala beach which is just across the road; i would say less than a hundred metres; 7/11(24 hrs grocery store) is just maybe 3 mins walk away; taxi and tuk tuk rides are based there as well. So, even if you dnt wanna book online for your rides, you can just walk up to them and ask them wherever you wanna go; learn some negotiation skills 😁 or ask them to turn the metre on. The staffs that I met and assisted me were really helpful and are actually nice, no rude ones; just limited English for some 😌 . The room that I was in (superior)was clean and spacious. They clean it daily unless you dnt want them to. They put 2 single beds together with a regular king size mattress, which was fine with me. It has a balcony. They provide room services. You can call them to order food till 10pm or 11, laundry and whatever you need. They have a nice restaurant which opens at 6:30 am till 10pm. They have a coffee shop within the hotel as well right next to the restaurant. The pool, i read from previous reviews that some tiles were missing. Well, i think they got it fixed because the pool was ok, no missing pieces, kind of nice actually. All I can say is if you’re looking for something affordable; easy access; friendly then this place is definitely for you and your family. But if you’re looking for something, more then 😏 I had some friends who were telling me that the hotel they were staying at was too far from everything. Even when they wanna go and buy water frm 7/11 or want to go to the beach they have to book from Bolt to take them to their destination. That’s why Kamala is in great spot ( for me) Thank You ☺️

I really like this hotel! It's spacious, the staff are friendly, there are two swimming pools, and Lek took great care of my room, always smiling. Everything is within walking distance. I highly recommend it!

Disappointed! Location is very nice and rooms are ok but i didn't like the service at all and the male receptionist was very rude! We stayed for 11 nights and got the room with blocked balcony next to main road, very noisy, lot of smell from neighbour restaurant and no view at all! We requested to change the room since the day 1 of our arrival but no use! We were told to come back and check every morning but in the end it felt like an excuse and everyday we were told that it's all full. I understand that they had to accomodate new guests but current guest should also matter and they should get priority too!

Yes, the hotel is old and the furniture is a bit worn — that’s perfectly fine and we knew what to expect. However, what is absolutely not acceptable: our room (424) had a strong musty smell, the bed/mattress felt damp, and a canvas painting in the room was already showing signs of mold. On top of that, the window frame was clearly infested with termites — you could distinctly hear the cracking noises. We reported this to the staff immediately, but nothing was done. Two nights later, the termites had eaten through the wood and started flying around the room. As the hotel was fully booked, they couldn’t give us a new room — understandable. But we left the hotel two nights early and didn’t receive any refund, which is extremely unprofessional. I strongly advise against booking this hotel.
