So this is our fault for not doing a bit more homework on The Poseidon Hotel Marmaris, so maybe a bit of an unfair amount of overall stars. Nice rooms, really fresh and modern, well appointed and VERY CLEAN, the room was the standout part of the stay! The hotel was clean in general, a bit tired, and the dining room is like something out of Phoenix Nights, which leads onto the food. The options were very varied, there were some themes but took a bit of working out, chips or wedges out religiously. The whole food offer was not that great but strangely littered with odd nice things like the fresh bread, but these were few and far between. Breakfast was especially unappetising. The service was good, some of the restaurant/bar team were very helpful and friendly apologies for not remembering individuals. A few of the guests had lost their manners and/or and consideration when making lots of noise when returning in the early hours, this isn't a relaxing and peaceful hotel but the clue is in the location so our mistake but that doesn't account for the few ignorant idiots who are loud and brain dead. Nice amount of sunbeds on the beach with umbrellas, unfortunately the beach is littered with 100s of cigarette butts I mean there was loads so not environmently friendly and put you off having a paddle/swim. I could gonon but won't, we wouldn't return for the above reasons but that's doesn't mean it's not for some.

We had a brilliant holiday staying in the Poseidon hotel, the location is perfect if you are wanting the beach literally on the door step. The staff deliver great service, A good range of food for lunch and dinner even for the fusy eaters. There's a loads of bars and restaurants all really close by.

Hotel is lovely staff are very helpful only downfall is no entertainment so you can't stay in to make use of the all inclusive as you've payed for and the food is awful at to eat out most nights

First time in Turkey and 1st time all inclusive and I want to come back already best place I've ever been to. Everyone is super friendly and for a small £5 (200tkl) you don't have to leave your table the drinks keep coming. Very impressed

Not long got back from a week stay at The Poseidon Hotel in Marmaris. Overall it was a decent stay but there are a few things to point out and be wary of if you choose to stay in this hotel. We originally booked a room with balcony and when arrived we did not have this. The room itself was nice and modern but very small. The food provided at the all inclusive did not offer much variety and what they had to offer was….different. The main issue we had with this hotel is that I had left my belongings in a bag in my room and when I went to my room after the cleaners had done their job, they were no longer there. I reported this to the cleaner and reception staff but they did not accept liability and was faced with a very rude woman with an attitude problem who was the line manager, advising that it was our problem even though they were locked away in our room. So I would suggest being extra careful when keeping valuables in your room.
