Our stay at Poseidon Hotel was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the cute and lovely ladies at the reception welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. The waiters were always friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless with great care. The food was excellent — fresh, tasty, and varied — and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive.. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and we are grateful to the whole team for making it so special. We would definitely be happy to return noting that this wasn’t the first time at Poseidon!

My partner and I had a fantastic time at the Poseidon Hotel. We got a surprise by being upgraded to a sea view room which was amazing! As you can see in the photos, the view was glorious. It was great to sit out on the balcony and relax. The room itself was lovely I liked the blue theme. Everything was in working order and the standard of cleanliness was extremely high. The housekeepers did a fab job every time! The facilities were also great and I especially loved the pool and Turkish bath. The private beach with pier was also a huge bonus to this hotel. Relaxing on the beach with all inclusive drinks was living the dream. The floating area was also fun! The restaurant was big and always had an array of food to choose from. I definitely never went hungry at any point. The staff were always attentive and kind and very friendly with guests. Another big plus for me were the cats. I'm a huge animal lover so it was such a bonus to see cats in the lobby, dining area and outside. They were treated kindly by guests and staff and were never forced out. They seemed to be respected which was nice. If you aren't a cat lover or are allergic, this may not be the best hotel for you. The only downsides for me was that the bed and pillows were a bit hard and vegetarian options were somewhat limited. Overall though I was very impressed with the hotel and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly kind – they really cared about every detail to make sure we felt comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. Everything was clean, well-organized, and had a relaxing atmosphere.

Don’t pay extra for a sea view. It’s just a lottery anyway and you get what you’re given. I asked to see other rooms and got told to wait until Friday (6days after arrival) as there would be more options. On Friday we got shown 1 other room which was just as far back and 1 floor above. Many people who we have met have far better view’s (so a good view does exist) despite these guests not paying any extra. I will be seeking a refund on the elevated price - but I suggest you don’t risk paying extra in the first place and just chance your luck. You could get a far better view without paying more

Disappointed by Some Aspects of Our Stay While the hotel staff at reception were absolutely brilliant and kind — genuinely helpful and welcoming — our overall experience was let down by the restaurant staff. During our stay, two of the restaurant workers (one of them named Furkan, the other I can’t remember, but they were always together) made my friend and I feel uncomfortable. They kept making snarky comments and even went as far as asking my friend for her number, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Their behaviour came off as very weird and off-putting. The food itself was also very disappointing — it really didn’t meet our expectations at all, especially considering the price and the fact that we were hoping for a relaxing holiday. Another major issue was the room. Our balcony faced directly into nearby residents’ homes, and they could clearly see us from their balconies. It felt awkward and uncomfortable — not ideal when you’re on holiday trying to relax and enjoy yourself. We had music playing quietly on our speaker, but we could tell it was bothering the locals, which made the whole experience feel tense. Honestly, I don’t think it’s fair for either side — us or the residents. The only real positive was the beachfront location. It’s close to all the main shops and areas we like to visit when we come to Marmaris. Sadly, despite that, we won’t be returning to this hotel.
