Such a lovely location..quiet and peaceful ..hotel top notch.. clean, modern and very friendly. Our room was spacious with queen size bed with a walk-in shower , air conditioning and a outside balcony with a small table and chairs.. this was cleaned daily. Reception, bar and dining room were modern and airy. We we’re all inclusive and we couldn’t fault the food at mealtimes, such a variety of different dishes every day with different feature nights.. Greek nite, Spanish and Italian nite. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Pool & spa area was fantastic… with 2 pools with fab view of the sea… lots of sunbeds for everyone… we would definitely revisit

We had a lovely relaxing week away at Alua Soul. We wanted peace and quiet, and to relax with a little bit of sight seeing and that is what we got. The Pool area was very quiet. Just enough choice when it came to food, not too overwhelming, and very enjoyable. The room was very spacious and the little private pool we had was nice for a cool off. Overall a lovely hotel with friendly staff.

We came for a long weekend in the sunshine in June and though there were some highs, we unfortunately were met with a few problems that lead us to not want to return. To start with, upon arrival we were asked to pay for the booking - which had already been paid through booking.com so this was odd. Confused, we paid again at check in, only to get a refund from booking.com a few weeks after the holiday - meaning we paid £1400 for a moment there, until the refund came through. We had an apartment with our own plunge pool which was lovely, however there was a rather rancid smell coming from the boiler throughout the stay which made it impossible to be in the apartment at times. Outside of the apartment, we also had a lot of ants on the patio. We spoke to the front desk about this and they sent someone to spray the ants, which was great… But then the dead ants were left behind and remained for two days until someone swept them away. On the third night, more ants appeared and this time were coming into the apartment. We went back to the front desk and were told “it’s a bottom floor - this happens”, with nobody being sent to deal with this, meaning we were stuck with ants. On our last day, we were told checkout was 11am. We were on the patio and went to go back into the apartment at 10:10am to shower and grab our things, and our wristband stopped working, locking us out of the apartment in our swimwear - with all of our stuff inside. My partner went to the front desk to have this resolved whilst I waited at the apartment and he returned with his wristband ‘reactivated’ for this to still not work. He went back to the front desk, and during this time a lovely housekeeper came and let me back in! My partner came along with a lady from the front desk and once she saw I was in, thanks to the housekeeper, she just left and our wristbands were not reactivated at all, meaning we had to keep the door unlocked until check out to ensure we had all of our stuff. It just felt clunky and there was no apology or explanation. The food was okay with an okay selection on rotation. The service in the restaurant could’ve been better, with our group ordering drinks and this getting ignored, taking over 30 minutes to come and when asking where the drinks are we were met with eye rolls and tuts. This wasn’t every time, but it happened enough for us to not want to go to the restaurant at meal times, causing us to eat out a few times despite having paid for all inclusive. The service is a bit of a mixed bag. As mentioned above there were issues in the restaurant and at the front desk. We weren’t made to feel welcome and felt like we were a nuisance rather than a guest more than once. There’s lots of parts of the resort that aren’t included in ‘all inclusive’, including drinks at a bar that is on site of the apartment where there would sometimes be the evening entertainment. In fact, during our stay - one of the shows were meant to take place in the bar of the main building but the act was set up at the bar that didn’t include all inclusive ‘accidentally’. Though this was eventually rectified, it’s just something else to add to the ongoing pain points of our stay. Though we were able to switch off and relax on this holiday; it’s not somewhere we would return to. Especially at the price we paid (twice, for a moment!).

1: Rooms are really really good, always clean and comfortable with enough space. The bedroom lighting is really cozy, set up with indirect light 👌🏻 Bathrooms are a luxury. Also super clean, perfumed and the shower is really relaxing. 2: The service is 10 stars. The people are truly amazing. Every single employee makes the whole stay super comfortable and for a south American Spanish speaking like me, make you feel like home in a way. 3: Location , considering the size of the island is really good. only by driving 15 to 20 min, you already reach really good beaches and calas. For other more “hidden” or fancier calas, you need to drive a bit more. Things worth to mention: The people seriously do an amazing job. They make you feel really welcome, the food service is simply awesome. A lot of variety of food with high quality and served like it should be. You simply want to eat everything because it all looks delicious, fresh and tasty, which it is. There’s always variety of meat,fish, vegetables, salads, appetizers, snacks and desserts. They also prepare every day a different theme of food which makes it even better. The waiters and waitresses are amazing, they all have recommendations, they are all very warm people. The Chefs put a lot of work in the cooking, also with recommendations and tips for recipes 😎 (for the curious) The cleaning people are always in a good mood and everyone is super respectful. The reception, amazing as well 😎👌🏻 It’s always perfumed like a Spa The bar at night, a really good spot for chilling, having a nice drink. The people working at the bar also amazing. They provide a message service that’s recommended to try. It was a really nice experience in front of the sea with my girlfriend. In front of the Hotel there’s the beach bar which is really fancy. The pool is really nice, with enough space for swimming. The sun beds are super comfy with view to the sea and the service is really warm and chill. It has amazing vibes. There’s also another beach bar behind it that belongs to the Hotel as well which has basically the same setup. The gym is close to the Hotel, equipped with enough machines to do some weight lifting and cardio as well (maybe adding a few more discs weights would be nice for being able to work out heavier for the pushers 😎) There’s Tennis court and some other stuff that I didn’t have the time to enjoy, but considering the quality of the rest, I bet that it goes in that direction. I hope this review is helpful for the next reader and helps the Hotel to keep bringing more people to enjoy that amazing place. It was a really good experience, and it’s a Hotel to definitely come back. TOTALLY RECOMMEND 👌🏻 Un Saludo para todo el personal 😎

Staff lovely and friendly. Hotel/room - lovely and clean - room serviced every day. NO BEACH. Went with Tui. In brochure it did state no beach but platforms to sunbath and ladders into sea. Two ladders only and very busy where everyone is crabbing. Pool area - stated one public and one area for hotel guests only. Music going in the public area all day and alot of sun lounges reserved where people can pay for their specific ones. Got very busy in the hotel guests area. One day the company who ran this centre had a pool party - they used the area for the hotel guests only so we had to use the public swimming pool. Still very nice - was not told prior- but boom boom music from about 12 to 10 in the evening. Not very relaxing. I paid extra for a Seaview and balcony - road outside - quite busy - very noisy at night with the restaurant just on the other side still going at 1am - and then customers leaving talking very loudly/or just hanging about. Had the door shut but air con on - noisy - turn off - too hot - so not much sleep. Sorry won't be going back
