Beautiful hotel with lovely helpful staff. The room was large and very clean, with a lovely little balcony area. Bathroom clean and modern with a decent shower. Nice to have the fridge so we could have cold drinks.
Food at the all inclusive buffet was, in general, lovely - couple of slightly odd things but there was always plenty of choice so this was fine. Decent selection of drinks included at the bar too.
The two pools were beautiful and we never had any issues getting sun loungers, though we did go at the end of the season when it was pretty quiet. €10 deposit for towels which was returned easily (keep your receipt). Worth noting that the loungers by the main pool are at an additional cost which seems bizarre, but they are part of the 'Purobeach' beach club. Lots of loud "music" (mainly just bass as others have said) which was off-putting, we chose Menorca not Ibiza!
Easy access to the sea which was lovely to swim in. We also hired snorkels from S'Algar Diving (€10 per person for 2 hours) which was fun and the guys there were very helpful.
Our only real complaint was the mattress which was very hard, to the point we were waking up in the night with a dead leg where we had been laying.

Just spent a lovely four nights with my mum in this lovely hotel. We upgraded to a suite with a plunge pool and went for fully inclusive. It was perfect as my mum isn’t very mobile so we could just sit on the veranda and wander along to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We sat and watched the sunset. A very pleasant experience.

Myself and my husband stayed at this absolutely beautiful hotel in July. A truly gorgeous hotel. Staff were first class, nothing was too much trouble and always so polite and smiling. Our room was lovely and so very quiet. Spotlessly clean as was the entire hotel. First class and a huge thank you to all staff. Gabrielle and William

Stayed here for a week in late September, room and breakfast. Have been to S'Algar on a few occasions before and always stayed in a villa. Decided to stay here so that we had the convenience of B&B and a location by the waterfront. Overall the hotel was okay but was very disappointed to find that the main pool (Purobeach) and facilities that had always been included in the villa hire and hotel is now an extra. A very expensive extra - €20 per head per day which comes to €280 for the week. The hotel has converted a pool at the west end which was included but this was smaller and the sun beds were on a grass area, which was not well maintained. What is particularly annoying about this is that the hotel website includes images of Purobeach suggesting that it was included and does not include anything to say otherwise.
The breakfast each day was okay. All coffee and hot water for tea came from two machines one of which did not work some days resulting in long queues. Fix the coffee machine and provide a separate source of hot water. Fried breakfast items were very boring. Continental breakfast was good. Staff were nice. If we return to S'Algar again we won't be staying here again - not worth the cost.

My wife and I quite enjoyed our Bed and Breakfast holiday at this hotel. It had a buzz about it, but was still quiet enough for us very Senior Citizen!!.. The staff, whether receptionists, waiters, cleaners, were smart, smiling and very helpful and often greeted one first.
The other residents were friendly too and chatted readily.
Other plus points:-
room cleaned daily and bed made up.
the Buffet Breakfast was comprehensive, enough to satisfy all tastes.
good air-coditioning.
20 euro buffet dinner, good value and, again, plenty of variety and choice.
bar prices reasonable, e.g., 2 glasses of 250cc red wine, £6.47.
Nothing of any consequence to complain about, though we were allocated a room which had a wet room as a bathroom!
