This is one of the best memorable vacations my family had. We got room upgraded to one of the best suite in the compound. Kids got welcome gift and we received numerous small gestures throughout our stay, the staff made their best efforts as a team to make the guests feel welcome and proactively approached us to provide help. There are 7 restaurants and we tried 4, all Marriott’s quality. The buffet breakfast is good quality and choice is great. Beach is private and good spot for snorkeling and other sea activities. Hotel vibe is positive and festive. No dull moment during our stay. We will come back again definitely.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding stay – truly memorable We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach. The accommodation, food, and service were all exceptional from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. The wellness and health facilities are outstanding – immaculate, well organised, and a real highlight of our stay. A special thank you to Nina, Ammy, Fay, Tuk, Patrick, Mr A, and Patty who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference and truly reflect the high standards of this resort. We couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Merlin Beach and were truly impressed by the warm, family-friendly hospitality throughout our visit. Our room was kindly upgraded, and when we requested a location closer to the Kids Club, the team thoughtfully rearranged our room assignment. The Kids Club staff were especially kind and attentive, even taking care of a forgotten item for us. Housekeeping was also very thoughtful. Noticing that we were traveling with a child, they provided helpful small touches, such as extra supplies and arrangements that made our stay even more comfortable. The beach is clean, calm, and beautiful, creating a peaceful resort atmosphere. At the same time, the hotel offers convenient access to Patong Beach, making it an ideal balance between relaxation and accessibility. We also enjoyed both breakfast venues, each offering a great start to the day. Although we stayed at a more expensive resort earlier in our trip, we felt that the hospitality here was more genuinely attentive and heartfelt. While the shuttle service to Patong could be more frequent, this was only a minor point. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for guests who want to enjoy the convenience of Patong while returning to a calm, comfortable, and family-oriented resort. We would happily return.

The hotel is clean, spacious, and very well maintained. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the pools are fantastic, especially for families. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Special thanks to Alex for the excellent service and helpful support during our stay. The beach is quiet but rocky, so swimming is limited. The location is peaceful but slightly far from town. Overall, a very relaxing stay and a solid Marriott experience. Would recommend for families and those looking for a calm resort holiday.

Outstanding resort – perfect for families ! Read the details: Perfect location: far enough from the hustle and noise of Patong, yet still close enough if you want to go in. Best of both worlds. The beach is fantastic – feels private, although a few outsiders sometimes wander in. Snorkeling is excellent BUT water shoes are absolutely essential. Without them, you really can’t enjoy the water properly due to rocks and corals. The hotel programs are excellent, especially for kids. Very rich, well-organized, and changing daily. If your child is 6+ and confident in water (pool and slides), you’ll hardly need to entertain them yourself – there’s always something engaging going on. Restaurants are very good with plenty of choice: Italian, Japanese, Thai, and grill. The beachfront grill restaurant is especially atmospheric and memorable. Breakfast is served in two different locations, which is very convenient. The beach bar, Rum Shack, is one of the best hotel beach bars I’ve ever been to – amazing vibe and team working there, especially in the evening is spectacular in sunset wirh live music. We stayed over New Year’s Eve, and it was hands down one of the best hotel beach parties I’ve ever experienced from 22:00-01:30 Huge congratulations to the entire hotel team – truly outstanding work. ⚠️ Watch-outs: *This is not a single-focused hotel and not ideal if your main goal is nightlife and partying. For that, a Patong Beach location is a better choice. This resort is for couples and families. *During low tide, the sea is not swimmable at all – pool only. You need to pay attention to the times of day when swimming is possible. *Water shoes are a must – sharp rocks and corals can easily injure your feet, especially with waves. All things considered, 98–99/100 recommendation, especially for families traveling with children. An exceptional thai resort experience with the unique thai hospitality !
