The stay here was absolutely fabulous that we didn’t want to go home. The Thai hospitality and friendliness is definitely found in every single staff working here. The hotel is tucked 15mins away from the busy Patong beach and they provide shuttle services to and from the hotel. We have booked the all inclusive package and it was definitely worth it. Gigi ensured our check in goes smoothly and was very helpful in all the arrangements we need. Every morning for breakfast, at the Merchant Kitchen, we were greeted with a broad smile from Patty. The other staffs from the other restaurants were also very polite and friendly. There are 3 pools to choose from and our son enjoyed the family pool the most! At the pool there are services such as sunglasses cleaning service and pool side snacks and drinks. There is also 2 billiard tables and a basketball ball shooter and a foosball table. On top they provide different activities everyday like yoga, leather crafting,cupcake decorating and many more. Each of the restaurant served exquisite and flavourful food that we are so full from everyday! My review doesn’t give much credit as there is so much good things to write about it. You just have to experience it for yourself. We will definitely recommend this place, especially for families. Kopkhunkha Phuket Marriott Merlin Beach!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every single aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pools are incredible, the beach is peaceful and breathtaking, the food was exceptional, and every detail throughout the property reflects the high standard you would expect from Marriott. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was the people. A Marriott is not just a Marriott because of its beautiful buildings, pools, or facilities. A Marriott becomes special because of its staff. The team at Merlin Beach transformed what would have been an amazing holiday into a genuinely memorable and personal experience. I would like to personally thank Arena, Mai, Pingping, Ping Pong, Film, Emily, Gift, Little, Mook, and Smile. Every one of them went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout our stay. Their kindness, professionalism, warmth, and genuine smiles never went unnoticed. Whether it was helping us with requests, recommending activities, assisting during meals, or simply greeting us throughout the day, they consistently delivered service that felt sincere and heartfelt. It never felt forced or transactional; it felt like they genuinely wanted every guest to have the best possible experience. What impressed me most was how every staff member seemed to take pride in creating happiness for guests. That level of dedication is rare and deserves recognition. They made us feel like family rather than just another room number. There are many beautiful resorts around the world, but it is the people who create lasting memories. When we look back on this trip, we won’t just remember the stunning beachfront views, the amazing facilities, or the incredible food—we will remember the wonderful staff who made every day special. Thank you to the entire team at Phuket Marriott Merlin Beach for creating what truly felt like a dream holiday. We are already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phuket. We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. The pools are fantastic – plenty of space, beautifully maintained, and perfect for families. Our kids absolutely loved it, and there was always something for them to do. The staff around the pool area were outstanding – friendly, attentive and always smiling. The overall cleanliness of the resort was exceptional, from the rooms to the communal areas. It genuinely feels like a luxury resort that takes pride in every detail. The fireworks and event evenings were a real highlight and made the stay feel even more special. Those touches really set this hotel apart and created amazing memories for our family. The only small downside was that room cleaning was sometimes quite late in the day, but honestly that’s minor compared to how great everything else was. The positives outweigh the negatives by a long shot. We would highly recommend this resort and would absolutely return. 10/10 experience.

We returned for the third time which says a lot for the hotel and it's operations. It's truly the people which make this hotel our go to place for a holiday as the facilities can be found in most hotels. I will especially like to mention Nina at the Run Shack and Ont who was always there by the pool side. Nina with her vivaciousness has a way of engaging you apart from the fact that she makes great cocktails. She's quick on her feet and works tirelessly but always with a smile. Ont was always around cleaning our sunglasses, managing the pool, teaching Muay thai .. his reassuring presence was wonderful. Everyone from the front office, to the restaurant staff are always smiling and willing to help and accomodate guests. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. Marriott resort and spa is such a beautiful place!! I did not want to leave the resort at all during my stay in Phuket. The staff are super friendly, the resort is very clean, massive (you will not get bored). The food is amazing and the scenery is beautiful. I felt like I was in paradise. Breakfast was always a great experience and Patty made it even more special with her welcoming smile, her friendly approach and always going the extra mile! I will definitely come back next year!!
