We got a gift voucher earlier this year for a buffet for two people. We decided to come on the day that they had the seafood buffet. When I tell you the me and my mom looked at each other after every bite, I mean it. The seafood was so so fresh. The seafood sauce was so good (we are Thai, we guarantee it’s good). There’s a variety of dessert and it was so good. The service was lovely as well. The staff such as Khun Nina, Khun Tuk, Khun Baow, and everyone in the restaurant were really lovely and friendly. We also lovely complementary dishes as well. We felt so welcomed since we first stepped foot in the hotel. We felt really welcomed here. We love it!

We stayed at the hotel for a wonderful week – parents with three children – and had a truly enjoyable family experience. The hotel is clean, well-organized, and offers a wide range of activities for all ages – kids, teens, and adults. The atmosphere is pleasant, the facilities are well-maintained, and the pools are fantastic. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and exceptionally attentive. We would like to especially thank Patt and the breakfast team, who went above and beyond to accommodate our youngest daughter’s gluten-free needs. Not only were special gluten-free meals prepared for her, but the chef even ordered new gluten-free ingredients after noticing she didn’t enjoy some of the options. This kind of personal care was truly heartwarming and made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast itself was rich, varied, and delicious, adding so much to our overall experience. In conclusion – we had a fantastic week at the hotel, enjoyed every moment, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation with excellent service and genuine personal attention.

We had a superb stay at Merlin Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of restaurants offering different cuisines—so there was always something new to try. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive: well-organized despite the crowd, with two restaurants serving different styles of food, which kept things exciting and never boring. The beach was absolutely beautiful—clean sand, good waves, and the perfect spot to relax. Watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand was magical and created one of the most memorable moments of our trip. Overall, our stay was extremely pleasant, and we’re already looking forward to returning with the whole family. This resort has everything: great food, friendly service, beautiful scenery, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Merlin Beach Resort. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Special thanks to Kwan, Fillm, Avi, and Dan for always being friendly and taking such good care of our child. The natural scenery, kids club, swimming pools, and beach were all perfect. We would love to come back again!

This was my first time at a full on resort but we loved it here. Recommend a pool side room if you have kids so that they can walk straight out of the door and to the pool (our kids were 12 so needed less supervision). There was so much to do here, great kids and adult activities. The foam party in the kids pool was great. The happy hour at the pool bar was great and the happy hours rolled from one bar to the next which was wonderful. The kids got to try free scuba diving in the pool. We got cheap massages outside on the beach. The beach was essentially private though we only swum once because it was the rainy season and too windy. The service was wonderful. We had a few nice meals, I feel like we ate more authentic Thai outside of the resort but it was still yummy. Room service pizzas were some of the best we have had. We got baby sitting for 300 baht an hour while we went to Patong one night which was great. Thank you to the guest who ordered fireworks!!
