This is one of the best memorable vacations my family had. We got room upgraded to one of the best suite in the compound. Kids got welcome gift and we received numerous small gestures throughout our stay, the staff made their best efforts as a team to make the guests feel welcome and proactively approached us to provide help. There are 7 restaurants and we tried 4, all Marriott’s quality. The buffet breakfast is good quality and choice is great. Beach is private and good spot for snorkeling and other sea activities. Hotel vibe is positive and festive. No dull moment during our stay. We will come back again definitely.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for several days and overall had a pleasant experience. We had both breakfast and dinner included in our stay, and the service was consistently high-quality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely designed. The hotel grounds are also beautiful and very well maintained. The food served at the restaurant offers something for every taste, and the prices are quite reasonable. The beach is lovely, but the entrance into the water is difficult due to many rocks and corals, making it unsuitable for children. In my opinion, the hotel could at least clear a section in the middle of the beach by removing the larger stones to create a more comfortable swimming area. Unfortunately, all these positive aspects were overshadowed by one major issue: the lack of sound insulation in our room. During the night, a lot of noise entered the room — mainly through the entrance door, but also through the thin walls that are not soundproofed. If you plan to stay here, I recommend avoiding rooms located close to the reception area, as you may not be able to sleep due to constant noise from staff or other guests. I would gladly return to this hotel in the future, but only after improvements are made regarding sound insulation. I am writing this review with the hope that the hotel will take this feedback into consideration and continue to improve, as it has the potential to become even better.

We had an incredible stay at the Marriott Phuket Merlin Beach. Our swim-out room was absolutely amazing — the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we especially loved the day bed on our patio, where we spent many afternoons napping and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff and amenities were fantastic from start to finish. The food and drinks were delicious, and everyone we met went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A very special thank you to Ice, whose compassion and understanding during a family issue meant more to me than he knows. His assistance was truly appreciated. And a big thank you as well to Dew, who greeted us with such warmth every day — he is the sweetest young man and always made us feel welcome. We highly recommend this resort and would return in a heartbeat!

Visited dated checked in on 12th Dec 2025. Reached the lobby, met a very sweet smiling and helpful staff, welcome us, quickly helped to wheel up our luggages, asking whether we want to go for sightseeing first then check in? She able to help to keep our luggages and arrange the free shuttle transport in within 5 mins time. Saw her name tag, named Polla. She indeed, quick and outstanding, she quickly prepared blue pea flower cooling drink for us too and just nice the shuttle bus came. Our last day shopping, we are packing our clothing and goodies at the lobby, prepared to go airport, actually the concierge staffs facing the front staircase even more helpful than the reception check in staff, to be honest, Ms Polla even helped me to fold up our plastic bags and helped to call a big clean comfortable taxi for a reasonable price to airport! Good job! Ms Polla! We will recommend our friends to come to this resort!

A good stay overall — great staff, solid facilities, but nothing truly exceptional. Service across the resort is consistently friendly and attentive. The team is warm, welcoming, and especially kind with children, which made our stay with our baby noticeably easier. Staff interactions were a clear highlight. The resort itself is large, well-maintained and comfortable, with multiple pools, plenty of space and generally pleasant common areas. Rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and housekeeping was reliable throughout our stay. The location is quiet and nicely removed from the busier parts of Phuket, which makes it feel relaxing — but also means there’s not much in walking distance besides a handful of restaurants. For almost everything you need a taxi. Food and beverage are where the value feels a bit uneven. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality doesn’t always match: Thai dishes across the resort’s restaurants were mostly average, and for better Thai food we often preferred to go outside. Breakfast is fine but not memorable; the salad and vegetable options could be fresher and more appealing. One recurring frustration: there is no good espresso machine anywhere on the property, so for a decent coffee we had to leave the resort every time. For a property of this category, that feels like an oversight. Overall, everything was good enough but nothing stood out as exceptional — which is fine if you’re here for a relaxing and family-friendly resort experience, but worth knowing if you’re expecting top-tier dining or strong value for money. We enjoyed our stay, but would explore other options next time.
