Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa Merlin Beach offers a secluded beach getaway, with luxurious amenities. the whole team was amazing especially Nina who took care of us. Every time she saw us, she always inquired about our day and made us feel like home. marina at Thai Pantry is the best host and took such good care of us. We ate here twice and each time was better than the next. Kudos to the chef. The whole team at the hotel is warm and friendly. The food is great and the rooms are big and spacious. Can’t wait to come back.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Marriott Merlin Beach did not live up to the glowing reviews we had read online. From the start, the hotel fell short of expectations. The room design lacked proper soundproofing we could clearly hear noises from outside and from neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax, especially with a toddler. We had opted for the all-inclusive package, expecting a stress-free experience, but the reality was far from that. The breakfast buffet, while appearing to offer variety, was poorly curated and not thoughtfully selected. The space was overcrowded every morning, which made it more frustrating than enjoyable. The restaurants across the resort did offer diverse menus, but sadly, we ended up with food poisoning, which severely impacted our holiday. The pool area, another highlight in most reviews, was clearly not cleaned adequately for the volume of guests. With so many people using it daily, more frequent and proper maintenance is necessary and it wasn’t happening during our stay. On a positive note, the staff were polite and helpful, especially when our son got sick. Their support in that moment was appreciated. Overall, it was a one-time experience for us. The resort did not meet expectations and the online praise feels misleading. We won’t be returning.

A fantastic resort with everything you need for an amazing holiday. The resort staff couldn’t do enough to help guests, the food was amazing and the beach was pretty and relaxing. The pools were warm and wonderful. Plenty of activities on offer too. The Rum Shack was our favourite spot for an evening drink by the beach. Romantic atmosphere but also suitable for families. We had a fantastic time!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Marriott Merlin Beach for the past seven days, and today marks my official last day. The staff has been phenomenal—accommodating, friendly, and a true joy to interact with throughout our stay. The concierge team did a fantastic job booking all of our excursions and made the planning process seamless. The accommodations are outstanding—from the multiple pools and well-equipped gym to the relaxing jacuzzi and delicious breakfast buffet (my personal favorite). The complimentary shuttle service into town is a wonderful perk—definitely take advantage of it and explore the beautiful sights of Phuket. Thank you, Marriott, for helping my family celebrate two major milestones: my mother’s retirement after 48 years of hard work and my sister’s 50th birthday. And a special thanks to Delta Vacations for helping me plan such a memorable trip!

Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach is a peaceful getaway located away from the main street, which makes it quiet and relaxing. It’s a perfect place to unwind, and the hotel has a large, beautiful pool—our kids spent the whole day playing in it and absolutely loved it! The facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are warm and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here! One thing to note: the beach has strong waves, so if you’re traveling with young children, it’s safer to enjoy the hotel pool instead. The breakfast was great, and the spa was also a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Phuket!
