An excellent 5 star hotel with all staff being excellent. Special mention needs to be made of Anny, who is a waitress in the restaurant: Anny always greeted us when she saw us, even if we were just passing by the open air restaurant. Also, Anny remembered our food preferences and mentioned them to the other restaurant staff so that whenever she is not working, our preferences are known and honoured by all other restaurant staff. Also, the in-hotel duo band, Heart and Soul, provide excellent music and singing entertainment in the Sky Bar and Wai Wai restaurant. The duo, Nery and Lino, play lots of well known favourite songs and they also take requests. They allow hotel guests to share the stage with them to sing karaoke style, which makes for great entertainment for everyone. Nery and Lino have great singing voices and it is clear that they love what they do, as that shows throughout their performances and makes each performance special. The food in the restaurant is first class with a great selection to suit all tastes at good value for money prices. The pool facilities and activities for children are very good too. Hotel guests have commented to me that the children's activities, with the kids club and foam parties twice a week, are great and lots of fun for children. I will definitely return to the Emerald when I next visit Phuket. The high quality of the rooms, the excellent staff (all of them) and the Heart and Soul band make this a very special hotel. We stayed for 8 nights and we enjoyed our stay overall. It is the perfect hotel for families offering nice family rooms with pool access, an assortment of buffet breakfast, weekly activities and great service amongst all ground staff. The Thai are always humble and grateful, you really experienced that from the staff. Great location amongst restaurants, the market and beach. You don't even need to leave your hotel to have a good time. There were always tuk tuks outside our hotel so was easy to travel to Patong and to other landmarks. Travelling with our 11 month old was super easy thanks to our overall stay. We would definitely be staying at this hotel for future family vacations.

First time visitors to Phuket and because of the quality facility provided by Emerald Beach Resort, it won't be our last - we'll be back and we will stay at Emerald again. Staff were always polite, attentive and organised (was very busy because of Songkhan) and there was plenty for the kids - the water slides are on point. Location is great, Beach over the road, flea markets and hawker's centre next door and there is a 7 Eleven out the front if you need anything. 2 pool bars, a Cafe and of course the Sky Bar makes it all brilliant. Perhaps the most significant lasting memory is the effort the team made to recognise my partner's 50th birthday, both in the little decorations in our room and at breakfast on her birthday. Things like this are what makes a holiday really special and I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the team for that. See you next time!

On our most recent family trip staying at the Phuket Emerald was a delight, friendly staff fantastic facilities amazing pools and slides. The on-site beauty spa was wonderful for kids to feel pampered. The fantastic kids club Emerald club was amazing and hard to keep the kids away from my daughter wanted to spend all her time at the kids club, one of the best kids clubs we've experienced great play areas lots of activities for the kids to keep them entertained. A special thank you to the staff Nee, Gam, Cream, Sunny and our favourite the green turtle were amazing with my daughter. The hotel restaurant Wai wai was great the staff made it extra special the food and beverage manager Simon was superb always with a smile greeting us and ensuring everything was top notch. Anny one of most friendliest staff members of the restaurant was super fantastic with our family and can't thank her enough for going the extra mile for us. The room were fantastic being a newly built hotel everything was clean and well presented the housekeeping lady was so great in ensuring everything was up to date. Highly recommend the Phuket Emerald definitely the hotel we choose when visiting Phuket next.

Unfortunately, the price level does not match the quality or comfort offered. The hotel is quite noisy: rooms have poor sound insulation, and the air conditioning is very loud and outdated, which affects comfort both day and night. The property itself is small, with a limited pool area located between buildings, so it does not feel relaxing or spacious. Breakfasts were disappointing — very limited fruit, low-quality bread, and no clear breakfast concept. The location is convenient, and the staff is friendly, but overall this hotel does not correspond to a 5-star level. We were honestly surprised by such a high Google rating.
