Writing this with the context of being Muslim/needing halal food. Pros The kids club and club staff are really nice, you can drop the kids off there and leave them if you need. It's not massive but they try to keep them occupied. The pools are really nice, the kids enjoyed the slides, swim up pools etc and spent most of the days there. The beach across the road is really good to have, Karon beach is well renowned. The A/C, bathroom and general facilities are kept clean and tidy There are a decent amount of really good halal food and general eateries, located within walking distance, we'd go local for breakfast, everything in walking distance The hotel remembered it was my birthday and sent a cake which was really nice of them. Cons The hotel Breakfast is really poor in my opinion, the options are limited and you'll be eating eggs, pastries and fruit most days (we chose to skip breakfast after the first day), this is mainly due to the halal dietary requirement. The check-in took over an hour (we'd been travelling for nearly 24 hours) because they couldn't locate our booking. The checkout took equally as long as they send someone to check the room to see if they can find anything to bill you for before you leave. The towels and robes are ample, but then they seem to be taken without being replenished every day, one day the robes disappeared and never came back. The in room tea/coffee/water provisions were also not replenished or replenished with one milk and one coffee (we were in a family room). When you ask for more of them you get funny looks. If you've had half a bottle of water they won't replace it (giving it the feel of them skimping or saving cost). Summary This hotel is well worth it if you can get It at a good price, we got a good deal as the season had just started so felt it was well worth it, if we'd spent a lot of money we may have been disappointed. With a few tweaks, this could really be an exceptional hotel.

Amazing place for a family holiday! I took my daughter here for 7 nights in October & we couldn’t be happier with our holiday. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous & there were plenty of good options for meals at the resort - whenever we felt like other food options, it was literally a 5 min walk to a variety of restaurants which catered to all cuisines. A huge thank you in particular to Soh (one of the resort pool employees who was brilliant with my daughter) & Anny (an all-rounder at the resort's bars & restaurants who went above & beyond to make our time enjoyable). Aside from those 2 workers, I was thoroughly impressed by every single employee we interacted with throughout the week. My daughter is already telling everyone we'll be returning next year!

We stayed for a week and overall had a mixed experience. While the hotel has some great family-friendly features, there were a few things that let it down. Cleanliness could have been better — we found a slice of lime under the bed when checking out, which clearly wasn’t from us and must have been left by a previous guest. This place is ideal for families with children aged 3–10. If you have different aged children then would find elsewhere. There’s a good soft play area, free ice cream between 3–4pm, and live music in the evenings, although the restaurant itself felt very quiet and lacked atmosphere. Breakfast was nice and had a decent variety. However, while the hotel markets itself as family-oriented, some design aspects aren't very practical for those with young kids. There were no ramps, making it tricky to navigate with prams, and the rooms lacked storage. Also, the bathroom only had a shower, which was inconvenient when traveling with small children who need baths. Could hear screaming at night for our last 2 nights and a cleaner knocked at our door at midnight and let himself in while we were asleep! Overall, a good option if you have kids in the right age range, but there’s room for improvement in cleanliness, accessibility, and practicality.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights! The hotel is very kid-friendly with a kids' club that offers various fun activities for children. The kids' pool is also a lot of fun! The hotel's location is very strategic in Karon City, close to a food court that serves fresh seafood. There's also a 7-11, massage parlor, and various local restaurants nearby. Access to the beach is also very easy, just a short walk across from the hotel. The breakfast spread is very diverse and delicious, especially the Beef Pho which is a must-try! The kids' menu is also very varied and tasty. The hotel's cleanliness, especially the room, is very well-maintained. I love the small details in the room, such as the small bed in the corner that faces the pool, and the balcony which is perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel for families who want a fun and comfortable vacation!" 🌴🏨👍

Wonderful Family Stay at Emerald Resort Phuket 🌴☀️ We had an amazing stay at the Emerald Resort at Karon Beach. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with direct pool access from our corner room – absolutely perfect! 🏊‍♂️ The pool area was great, especially for children, and the beach is just a short walk away. 🏖️ The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The kids’ club and childcare service were outstanding – very caring and professional. 👏 We will definitely come back again – highly recommended for families! ❤️
