What a lovely island and great find in this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming and excellent with children. The beach is epic and one of the nicest we’ve visited and we’ve been to Hawaii and the Seychelles! Lots of choice in terms of food and nice to have the themed restaurants to change things up. So close to the airport so great with children. The entertainment team was also fantastic and provided lots of different activities for the children. The indoor pool is great for kids. Could do with being slightly warmer. The spa is lovely. We had a good sized family suite. It was in the older buildings and could do with some modernising. We only ate at the new block but that looks gorgeous. Absolutely loved our trip last year and hope to be back. Thank you Pestana team!

We were diverted here as unable to land in Madeira. We were made to feel very welcome and staff were very attentive. Apartment amazing and food great. This unplanned visit turned into a lovely experience and would highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous all inclusive, the food from the buffet was above average and they had all sorts of activity on offer given the weather was poor. The whole resort was immaculately clean and the pool facilities and beach was really nice! We will be back!

This is a great hotel right on the beach. Beach towels, a parasol and wind breaker are provided free of charge and there is a bar (with toilets) up the ramp from the beach. The beach is beautiful and spacious, but the sea is quite wavy and there aren't really any fish to see if you enjoy snorkelling (unless you venture near rocks, but as said, it's wavy). The buffet food has decent variety, the grill is great and the snack bar provides access to burgers, hotdogs and fries/etc throughout the day. The bars do decent drinks, and the pool bar has lager and soft drinks on self service taps; this is one place that could be improved - if wine/cider was available on tap, the queues at the bar might not be so large. The restaurants (we were allowed 3 visits for our 7 night stay) are all good. We tried the Japanese, Mediterranean and Italian (the first two were our favourite). We had a lovely, spacious, clean room with its own lounge. Cleaned most days, and restocked with toilet paper, etc but our bath towels kept getting taken occasionally leaving us to share a single hand towel. Just a small oversight that didn't spoil the holiday. Entertainment seemed pretty non-existent when we went, though it seemed some of it actually took place at the sister hotel (which you are allowed to visit).

First time in Porta Santo and we have spent a week in this resort all expenses well my opinion I will give 3/5 to be a 5 stars hotel? I guess not I think it can be 3 to 4 stars hotel as it’s big area but is been wear out and it needs a lot of maintenance because starting to looks like the 80’s for the money you spend.. staff the are 1A very nice well mannered and kind. The menu and variety of food to be honest yea is a buffet that most of the time you can walk in but wasn’t that impressed with it and most of the meat was cut wit bones so wasn’t pleasant to enjoy the food. Do I recommend… I do as is one of the biggest places in Porto Santo as is not much to see around a relaxing place. Do I will return? Yes I will
