We absolutely loved our week at Pestana Vila Lido. The room was great, and the view was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to provide anything we needed. The breakfast buffet was also very good, made even better by the view across the bay each morning. We would highly recommend this hotel and will 100% return when we return to Madeira.

We loved our stay at Pestana Vila Lido. The location was beautiful, right on the Atlantic Ocean. It was nice and quiet as well. The staff were all so helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good, with a large selection of items. We highly recommend Pestana Vila Lido.

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting Madeira.Perfect location, close to great restaurants, in an area that is easily walkable close to the sea. The staff were the highlight as they were always friendly and accommodating. Very knowledgeable and gave us great advice with our touring and restaurant selection. Would highly recommend for cleanliness, location and hospitality. The breakfast was fabulous and the views were great. Looking forward to returning next year !

Beautiful hotel and amazing location. The staff however is not really friendly or helpful. We couldn‘t sit outside and have a drink in the evening because you can only sit inside (not why we booked a hotel at the sea) Restaurant recommended by the reception was overpriced and not good - typical tourist trap. Check in was awkward since the staff only talked to each other laughing and we didn‘t understand. Not what we are ised to from other 4 star hotels.
