First of all, the full body Rebalance massage done by Leticia was one of the best massages that I've experienced recently. She's also a Reiki practitioner and has wonderful energy about her. ✨️💫🌟💚 I hope I'll get to experience the magic touch of her hands again. Highly recommended. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic right on the ocean front with uninterrupted views (we stayed in the round hotel building on the 6th floor). Mind you, it was rather windy when we arrived so we could feel and hear the howling wind too. 🫣🤣 Our room was spacious, airy, light and cosy. It had a balcony facing west so perfect for watching sunsets. ☀️ Small bottles of mineral water and sparkling passion fruit soft drink are left each day in the room. There was a wonderful "Welcome" hand written card and gifts waiting for us in our room upon arrival. 💚 The breakfast buffet was lovely too with plenty of choice, eg all types of eggs and even freshly to order made omelette, different meats, cheese, salad, fruits, bakery goods, good coffee and pastries too. A wonderful experience overall and we would definitely return here. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💚

Enjoyed our time here celebrating my wife's 60th birthday and our wedding celebration. Large comfortable rooms, excellent views with our room facing the ocean. Good selection of breakfast and excellent drinks while relaxing at the garden reception area. In the hotel zone area close to markets and laundry facilities. Parking is tight but there is a paid lot for the Super Mercado. About 12 to 13 Euros a night or 20 Euros with the hotel.

Recently stopped at this hotel after a last minute booking. We really enjoyed our stay, location is good with about a 30-35 minute walk into Funchal or there is a bus stop nearby. Hotel itself was peaceful, rooms a good size, clean, and comfortable. We had a side sea view that was lovely looking back towards Funchal. All the hotel staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, poolside is spacious, plenty of sunbeds with the added bonus of access into the Ocean. Breakfast choice was very good, again staff ensured an enjoyable experience. Overall I could recommend this location based on our experience.

A wonderful hotel with a high level of service and an excellent location. The room was very comfortable and clean, with daily housekeeping and regular replenishment of water and amenities. I was kindly upgraded to a better room with a beautiful view of the ocean and the city. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. During my stay, it was my birthday, and the team made this day special with lovely surprises and a cake, which was very touching. Great food and a pleasant atmosphere. I am sincerely grateful to the entire team and will definitely return.

Front desk was amazing - very polite, helpful, super nice. We got welcome drink, all amazing. Area looks perfect, very nice views, nice pool and entrance to ocean. We had a superior room with sea view in main cliff building on the 7th floor. Staff was very helpful, helped us to get our baggage to our room and explained surroundings. Overall the hotel really LOOKS 5-star if you are in main building in superior room. However, I also want to share few details that would probably make the stay even better because I have experience with other 5* star hotels. We were little disappointed to find out there were no capsules or better coffee in the room (to have a nice cup of coffee with sea view), only the most instant Nescafe coffee. Also no spoons to actually stir sugar or milk in the coffee. No better teas/tea bags, only mediocre brand. yno plates or cutlery to have any snacks with sea view in the room (fruit, for example). Furthermore, water pressure in the sink was sooo bad - you have a nice huge sink in the beautifully looking room and water pressure was so weak it often dripped in front of sink battery when turning it on. So weird. Especially because shower had perfectly normal pressure. Shower also had a little bit of black mold so check that more thoroughly please and clean it properly. Breakfast with ocean view was really nice. Food was nice but coffee was again very basic/mediocre (overroasted, not generally good, tasted very cheap). Area with sweet pastry and jams looked messy every day, not something I would expect from 5* hotel. Parking was paid on top of already expensive room and also expensive (20 € per night). This all made my stay to feel more like 4* hotel with advantage of nice sea view room.
