The hotel location and food were amazing 👏. There is plenty of food choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The views from the balcony are amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful . Loved the pool area and Turkish baths. Really enjoyed our stay.

It is really one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. The location is great, just in front of the hotel there is a beach with the black sand.. very beautiful one. Also from our room was a spectacular view of the ocean. The food was also good, there are thematic dinners: Italian, Mediterranean, etc so you can try different options. But the best part is people, who are working there. Everyone from the receptionist to the chef was so nice and polite! I was impressed. My husband was on a special diet and they even prepared deserts specifically for him ❤️ I adore this place and will definitely come back!

The hotel was average. The room was tired, we did not have cushions on the chairs in the room. Cleaning was not brilliant. I understand it's a smaller all inclusive hotel, but the meal selection was very poor. The hotel laid on entertainment, but there was nowhere to sit if you didn't want to listen to the music. I would not stay there again.

Rooms were okay and clean but they got really hot and there was no air conditioning just a propeller. The food was not very tasty and as a vegetarian I had very little options since everything was just side dishes and meat. The dessert were not tasty and the same all the time. They also looked disgusting. You had to take your own cutlery and drinks in all meals (even wine), the waiters were despite that very slow with cleaning tables and removing plates. There was an event when one guest thrown up on the table during dinner because he was so drunk and nobody told him anything or cleaned after him. I lost appetite after that and honestly even when I did I ate so little because it was horrible food. Even though we had all inclusive we went out for lunch every day so we ate something proper.

A classic that you always want to return to. Being a hotel that shows the era in which it was built, which for me has its charm, the facilities are impeccably maintained. The rooms are still comfortable, the view is fabulous as they all face the sea and the cleanliness is immaculate. The all-inclusive is overall good, honest and in line with the rate charged. The Ocean Bay team is truly a plus. It is because of the welcome and friendliness that we leave wanting to return. From the reception to the restaurant, from the employee to the management, the service is warm and impeccable. We felt at home and at family. Madeira has a special way of welcoming that in this hotel is taken very seriously. Thanks.
