Great staff that made an effort daily. Location was good, value for money also ok. Breakfast bagels and drinks machine were good too. Just gets a little crowded when bagels come out. Rooms a reasonable size, beds amazing. Would I stay there again? Sure!

I stayed at the Pestana for a few weeks, and thanks to the team that works there it felt like home! The reception team was amazing - they’re super friendly and helpful, wonderful customer service experience - their team goes above and beyond to help you. The room was super clean and nicely decorated. The WiFi there is amazingly fast! The rooms are sound proof as well, you will not hear any noise. Housekeeping service comes everyday, as needed. Amazing stay from start to finish!

The friendliness and helpfulness of reception agents Rachel (4/22 arrival) and Jorge (4/23 departure) made us feel welcome instantly. Rachel called our room after check-in to insure that we didn't have further needs. The next day, she took the time to look for cardboard to help us pack a poster we had bought. Jorge was extremely friendly as he stowed and returned our bags after checkout. Room was clean, spacious and well worth the rate, which was lower compared to characterless US hotel chains. Towels and toiletries were of high quality. Great location! Would return and have recommended to friends and family.

The staff isn’t very nice ,rooms very small and smells bad so I wouldn’t recommend Update I’m surprised by the manager’s response suggesting I wasn’t a guest. I did stay at Pestana Times Square, and I’m simply sharing my honest experience. To clarify: • Reception staff: I felt disrespected by the staff. Most of the receptionists didn’t wear uniforms—some days one person did, but usually none. Their attitude lacked professionalism and, at times, basic manners. I’ve never experienced this in other 4- or 5-stars hotel • Room size & storage: The room was very small, with minimal storage space. There’s no closet—only an open rail with a few hangers. • Lighting: The lighting was poor, with no ceiling light fixture, which made the space feel even more cramped and dark. • Entrance access: The main entrance door opens outward automatically when you wave your room card. • Public restroom: The guest restroom is located downstairs in the basement, to the left of the elevator. My review is not an attack, but honest feedback based on a real stay. Every guest has the right to share their experience—especially when it concerns service, comfort, and value for money

This is a lovely hotel! Rooms are very nice, very clean, quiet, and very well appointed (small-ish, but typical for NYC and quite comfortable). Service was outstanding. The front desk staff is kind, helpful, and always greet you with a smile. Shout out to Eugene and Rachel, among many other kind folks at the front desk. Outstanding customer service! Definitely recommend if you want to stay in the Times Square area.
