We stayed at the Pestana CR7 last month during a snowy weekend in New York and had a wonderful experience. As a native New Yorker visiting back, I know space is limited in the city, so smaller rooms are expected; what matters is how they’re designed. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with a great bed, good storage, a well-sized bathroom, and everything very clean and well maintained. The lobby and meeting areas also provided nice spaces to relax outside the room. What truly sets this hotel apart from nearby chain hotels, though, is the staff. They consistently greeted us, made sure we had what we needed, and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat. A special shout-out to Florian, who was exceptionally personable and kind. His approach to hospitality stood out: professional, warm, and genuinely engaging. He took the time to connect with us and made sure our stay was the best it could possibly be. You can tell he truly cares about guests having a great experience, and it made a real difference in our trip. Thank you, Florian and the entire team at the Pestana CR7, for making our NYC weekend one of our nicest!

I stayed at Pestana CR7 Times Square for over 2 weeks and had the best experience from the moment I got in, had the best welcome and check in all done quickly and smoothly. The room was compact but enough for me a solo traveller, while I stayed in NYC. The rooms were really fresh you can tell it’s a new hotel and has been here for nearly 5 years so quite new for New York, as most hotels seemed out of date while checking it out online. The staff were all amazing from day one till my last hours all helpful and all were really kind and friendly, made a few friends as well. The hotel is a 2 minute walk away from 42nd st bus terminal subway station which also is another 2/3 minute walk away from Times Square Subway Station either outside on the ground or if you enter the 42nd st bus terminal both stations have access to all boroughs and all stations around the city from the Bronx to Queens and to lower Manhattan to Brooklyn and to Long Island. Its also a 5-10 minute walk away from Times Square and 15 mins away from Grand Central station, and also like 25 mins walk from 5th Avenue. It’s also a 10 minute walk to Macy’s Department store and another 3 minutes from there to the Empire State Building. Madison Square Garden is also a 5 minute walk and the high line walkway is 5 mins away as well. It’s local to many central places so I loved this hotels location more than anything else and everything else were extra perks especially all the staff and the hotel being really clean and nice. The lobby bar and hotel kitchen were operated by a lovely couple who were really friendly and welcoming and had the most amazing food in the city you can come and dine there even if your not a hotel guest. Overall I was really satisfied and will definitely stay here again as the location was 5/5 and staff deserved 50/5 especially (George, Colin, Emily, Ralph and the whole team), the rooms were 20/5 really comfortable bed and warm showers and warm rooms. I will definitely be back when I am back in New York City.

Minus a hiccup on the first night, the team banded together to ensure that after a room upgrade, everything else was satisfactory. The location is great and about just less than 10 mins walk to Times Square. Staff are attentive, genuinely and friendly when you get to know them. I had the pleasure of chatting with many such as Emiliana from the front desk and Carla from housekeeping. The rooms are spacious, well thought out and comfortable. Cleanliness is to a good standard and I would definitely return to stay here.

We stayed here for New Year's and had a good experience. The location was great and central to everything we wanted to see. There are plenty of great cafes and coffee shops nearby. The room and bathroom were both clean. It was nice being able to ask for water bottles or for our reusable bottles to be filled up. The staff were very helpful! There were a few days we did not get bath towels restocked from the cleaning service but were promptly provided towels when we requested them. Overall, it was good stay and we would stay here again!

I keep coming back to this hotel - the service is incredible! I love seeing the staff, who are very kind, helpful, and attentive. They also always remember me even if there is significant time between trips, which is special. Great gym (!), apples all day, and comfy beds. There is something particularly great about their showerheads - perfect water pressure, warm water - that is fantastic after long days in the city. Plus, they have the mirrors in the bathrooms that don't fog up - much appreciated. The place is always spotless. Highly recommend!
