While the hotel boasts a central location, I found another option at half the price that, although not as central, offers higher standards. Additionally, the "ocean view" is more accurately a harbor view, and it seems that the famous football player associated with the hotel has not visited in quite some time.

Hugo and Gerati pair up to ensure this Hotel is run impeccably. Stayed with my wife for 4 nights in Feb 2024 (our second visit to this Hotel) and we had another amazing experience. Clean, organised and friendly, well run Hotel that gave us an incredible time. Cannot wait to get back next year. Well done guys, you have cracked the magical Customer Service experience...

Amazing location. Great staff and a yummy breakfast. Modern rooms, very clean and an amazing rooftop pool with a gorgeous view over Funchal. I would stay here again.

Themed around Christiano Ronaldo, breakfast is very good quality and there is a huge selection. Rooms are very dark, no main light in the bedroom, cruise Ships dock right next to the hotel blocking out the sun on your balcony, and many drunk people making noise at night outside. Because prices are a bit highfor rooms and the fact my bedroom lock broke about 11pm and took about a hour to sort is the reason for the modest score.

A hotel you want to avoid. Noisy, worn out furniture and cold pool. No response to complaints. Staff is nice and breakfast is good.
