If you choose to go all inclusive, the programme generally consists of breakfast (8am to 10.30am), lunch (1pm to 3pm) and dinner (7pm to 9.30pm), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served from 11am to 10pm (except during meal times).

The outside of the hotel is deceiving as it's a huge, old fashioned looking concrete block. The inside, however, was light, bright and spotlessly clean. We had a large suite on the 5th floor with a huge bed, large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. We also had a lounge, dining area and 2 balconies with great views of the sea. The pool and gardens were again spotlessly clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked, regularly refilled, and had a good range of options. There were great views, although it felt a bit like an airport lounge or conference centre. It is also in a good, central location. We were very pleased with our stay, and felt it very good value for the money we paid.

This is our 2nd visit to the Pestana Casino Hotel and yet again we were not disappointed. We had a suite (again) but this time on the 5th floor (top floor in this hotel). Our room was better than our first visit which was lovely then. The room was spotless. A large lounge area with ample seating, a well stocked coffee/tea making facility and fridge. This time we had twin beds, which as last time, so comfy and spotlessly clean bedding. Bathroom contains a bath, his and her sinks, separate shower and toilet all again spotless. The cleaning team at this hotel is a credit to the Pestana company. We only had breakfast. This was excellent as very well stocked and had something for all tastes (including my very fussy 19yo daughter). This hotel is spotless throughout. All the staff we encountered and talked to were very friendly and very helpful when needed. We will definitely return for a 3rd visit.

Decent rooms, poor bar service The rooms were decent and the location is perfect, which is a big plus. However, the bar service really let the experience down. There seemed to be a serious lack of staff, and the barmen were more focused on cleaning dishes than serving customers. When we finally got our cocktails, they were poorly made and barely drinkable. Definitely needs improvement in that area.

I do not recommend this hotel. The rooms are very poorly soundproofed — you can clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms. The air conditioning is outdated and weak, with no remote control; it’s managed through an old wall panel. Although drinks are included with breakfast, during lunch and dinner everything is paid — not even water is free. Even worse, drinks must be paid immediately after dinner, which is a very strange and inconvenient policy. The room TV has smart features, but when I asked about watching Netflix with my own account, I was told it’s not possible. The only advantages are the location — genuinely close to the city center — and the well-thought-out, cohesive interior design. The room was also clean and tidy. Considering it’s a 5-star hotel, the overall standard is surprisingly low. The staff was polite, but unfortunately the issues mentioned above had a big impact on my stay.

I had a fantastic stay at Pestana Casino Park! The hotel exceeded my expectations with its stunning location, offering breathtaking views and easy access to key attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The service was exceptional—staff members were always friendly, professional, and eager to help with any request. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. The location is a major highlight! Being so close to the city center, the marina, and beautiful walking paths made exploring effortless. Whether you're here for relaxation or adventure, this hotel is a perfect choice. One thing to note: parking is €15 per night, so keep that in mind if you're driving. I highly recommend Pestana Casino Park and would definitely stay here again!
