Our stay at Pelangi Beach Resort was the best we had in Malaysia! The staff were super friendly and accommodating — they gave us an early check-in, allowed a late checkout, and even upgraded our room for free since we had a baby. The room was close to the reception and main amenities, beautifully designed, very clean, and felt brand new. The resort is huge but well managed, with free buggy service and umbrellas placed all around. The location is also perfect — just minutes from Pantai Cenang. The in-room dining food was delicious, and the spa service was exceptional — relaxing, professional, and exactly what we needed. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this resort and would definitely stay again! 🌴✨

Booked the villa for our son's first birthday! Perfect place to relax and chill. Beautiful villa, pools and cafes. Breakfast buffets were extensive and delicious, very kid friendly. Service staff was very friendly and accomodating, always making our baby feel welcome. They gave complimentary decor and cakes for our son's birthday celebration as well - a plus point!

I’m having the absolute time of my life at Pelangi Resort ⛵ the perfect place to celebrate my birth month! From the moment I arrived, everything felt magical. The resort is stunning,traditional Malaysian architecture surrounded by lush greenery, with the beach just steps away. The sunsets are unreal, like something out of a dream. 🌅 The staff are beyond kind and welcoming , they made me feel special from day one especially sheikh & shid & wofo & Nayli & Aatif from ( Horizon café next to the pool. The breakfast buffet is delicious (I could honestly live on their tropical fruits and food!), and the pool vibes are just perfection. What I love most is the peaceful yet vibrant energy , you can relax by the beach or join in fun activities without ever leaving the resort. Every corner feels like a postcard. 💫 Pelangi isn’t just a stay .... it’s an experience. Thank you for making my birthday month so unforgettable! ❤️

We enjoyed our stay here. 2 adults and 2 kids. My youngest and I are September celebrants. On our second day, we were given a surprise birthday dessert platter. The kids also enjoyed going to the mini petting zoo to feed the goats and rabbits. It was quiet in the morning, kids loved to have the pool all by themselves. View is so nice at the Pelangi grill, great to have breakfast there too with the view.

Just checked in today. Took 1.5 hours to check in and even then we were still waiting for a buggy to take us to our room so we decided to walk instead of continued waiting. Very abrupt staff with no customer service skills. We got some milkshakes from a shop outside the hotel. When we walked in we put our drinks on a table as they told us to take a seat, then as we were waiting a long time decided to take a look at the pool, came back after 5 minutes and our drinks had been thrown in the bin. Fair enough a mistake was made, when I asked the staff if they had thrown it away, I was met with a blank face and no apology. We finally get to the room and we have an infant with us, we have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the room. The beds were of cheap quality and there was 2 in the room even though we are a couple. I am trying to call reception but no answer for over 20 minutes. It is also my wife’s birthday and we had expected maybe some towel origami or a message / card since I added a special request. Again nothing. I’m really not impressed with the level of customer service you’d expect from an overall a really nice hotel. Amazing swimming pool and it must be good since the King’s son and the Presidents team are also here at the same time. Adding my review in now so they still have time to make changes rather than commenting after the stay when it is too late as if this continues I will not be returning!
