I have visited Maldives many times, but this is my first time at Patina. The resort itself is nice, and well designed, with plenty of activities and things to do. The room was nice but not exceptional. It was comfortable and well maintained, but it did not feel particularly “wow” compared to other resorts with lower price range. I would strongly recommend avoiding the sunrise overwater villas the waves are quite strong and there are many rocks in the water, which makes swimming difficult and not very enjoyable. Food is a strong point of the resort. There is a good variety of restaurants, and the quality of the food is genuinely very good across the outlets. ‏Service and guest experience, however, were average to below average (some times very stressful). There were a couple of instances that suggested either the team is still learning how to manage guest expectations, or that this level of service represents the resort’s current standard. Overall, while Patina has many positives, I don’t think I would repeat the visit again, there are better options available in the Maldives that offer a stronger overall experience specially if your looking for stress free holiday.

We had the best baby moon here in Patina! It’s a modern, minimalist and relaxing resort with excellent service. The food was great, Wok Society is definitely the best restaurant on the island. Please don’t miss their special dish with eggplants!! Sooo delicious A wonderful stay overall + highly recommend.

Patina was a wonderful experience thanks to the Resort Manager Mr Guillaume, the butler Fubu and the beach bar boys Roni, Angel and Adlet; The service at the restaurants is impeccable! Villa 123 on the beach made us feel like we were at home and the snorkeling in the area was wonderful.

A truly luxurious and secluded island experience, and a very classy one at that. Thank you to everyone, especially our personal assistant, Davron, who welcomed us from start to finish and was our primary coordinator and manager. He treated us like family. Our stay at Patina was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made sure to make our experience unforgettable. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made us feel like at home. The resort itself is stunning, the overwater villas are spacious and beautifully designed. Every corner of the resort is well-maintained, combining luxury with nature in the most perfect way. The same applies to the beach villa. If you like the complete privacy, the beach villa will best suit you. The only negative thing about it in my opinion is that the ocean is completely blocked by the trees. We were impressed by the wide range of activities offered specially for children. There was something for everyone in the family, and every activity was thoughtfully organized. The food was a true highlight. With multiple dining options and a variety of cuisines, each meal was a delightful experience. The chefs were happy to accommodate special requests, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. Thank you to the entire team at Patina for making our Maldives getaway so magical. We can’t wait to return.
