I would give this hotel a fair review, as my stay took place during the peak school holiday season (29–31 May 2026). As a GHA Titanium member, I understand that high occupancy may have limited some membership benefits that are usually available. The perks that I did not receive were: 1. A double room upgrade, as I was informed that the hotel was fully booked. 2. Early check-in. Although I arrived at around 4:30 PM, my room was only ready at approximately 6:00 PM. That said, I would still consider this a very nice hotel overall. 1. The rooms are exceptionally spacious. The Deluxe Ocean View King room felt more like a suite compared to similar room categories at other hotels. 2. The children's facilities and activities are excellent. My son thoroughly enjoyed the kids' pool, the beach, and the kids' club. 3. The location is ideal—close enough to enjoy the attractions of Cenang, yet far enough from the crowded areas to provide a more relaxing atmosphere. 4. The breakfast selection was impressive. I would particularly recommend the Teh Tarik and Kopi Kampung, which were standout highlights of the dining experience. Despite the many positives, the lack of room upgrade, delayed check-in, and missed Titanium member benefits prevented this stay from being a full 5-star experience. I hope the hotel can better recognize loyal members and improve room readiness during peak periods.

Ching Goh

We are a family traveling with young kids. Our titanium status did get us a suite upgrade. The service has been very courteous - when they found out it was our birthday and wedding anniversary, they gave us nice surprises accordingly. Also delivered a lovely amenity set and the first minibar was free. We only encountered very smiley and kind people throughout our stay and we ate a lot at Cassia and my family has been happy with the quality of the food. (As long as you’re not expecting Penang level of food quality but adjust expectations accordingly!) The pool can get a little crowded with many families but this was not a problem for us. The beach was beautiful but had the red flag the whole time. They also had a kids playground, an indoor playground for toddlers and younger kids. As well as an activity center for teens and adults - they were supervised, which is nice! There were a lot of families since we traveled during the school holidays, which was not a problem for us. The hotel was new-ish and we found cleanliness to be of a good standard.

We had a wonderful family stay at PARKROYAL Langkawi. The hospitality was outstanding—every staff member, from the front desk to the Kids Club, restaurant, pool, and spa teams, was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Even a small delay with a food order was handled professionally with a prompt follow-up and sincere apology. The resort was also exceptionally clean and well maintained, including the beach, Kids Club, and play areas. Our 1.5-year-old daughter had a fantastic time, and we truly appreciated how family-friendly and welcoming the resort was. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to returning!

We had a problem initially with our room. But the staff resolved it - and continuously checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. Particular thanks to the people at the front desk for making sure we were happy! Positives: The location is very good, and so is the gym (huge, well air conditioned and a good selection of equipment). The upstairs adult pool is also really good with great views of the sea. The beach access is great, and views are great. Breakfast is great and also a decent variety. Views of the beach from the room were fantastic. Staff try to be really helpful - shoutout again to the people at the front desk for making our stay great!

the staff is so welcoming, nice and helpful. we have never been so happy to visit a hotel or eat in their various restaurants. as we are here. the food is freshly prepared and tastes great. there is a lot of variety so there is something for every taste. and we really appreciate that. especially a young woman Ruby has given us a really good treatment. and be helpful with all our questions. thank you for that.
