Beautiful hotel. Great pool and very responsive and kind staff. Beautiful view of Nevis from the beach. The first floor rooms are great, we just walked from our balcony right to the pool area. The only negative is that it is very expensive to eat here. I mean VERY expensive. Brunch was around $200 USD for 2 people. They did have an omelette station but refused to put a $100 bill inside of my omelette. Also they let kids stay at this hotel and kids are annoying.

The grounds are stunning but the rooms are quite small for the price. I found most of the male staff quite friendly but the females were rude to other women of colour. White men would get an “excuse me, sir” and quickly have their chaises lounges covered on the beach while I got a rude “hello, hello?!” to get my attention at the spa and ignored while I lay my towel on my chaise myself (not that I need a cover but I was peeved to see other guests get that extra level of service.) When I asked for a kids menu at the Stone Barn, I was told this was a fine dining restaurant that didn’t allow children which obviously made me feel very uncomfortable even though they did bring the kids menu from The Great House. I was not told this when I made the reservation and I saw another couple with a young child come in for dinner while we were eating. I have a sneaking suspicion they were not informed of this “rule” when sitting down to order. The hotel also overcharged me and I spent at least an hour rectifying my bill. They will try every which way to squeeze every last dollar out of you. When I tried to see my bill at the beach bar, they said they couldn’t find it and the waitress must have closed it out. Lo and behold, I was overcharged when it was time to settle up at check out with 10 mins before my taxi arrived to catch my flight when I had gone in earlier and had the incorrect charge removed. Be sure to go through your bill with a fine toothed comb as everything there is wildly overpriced. The cheapest bottle of wine is $85. I won’t be returning.

This is a well organized resort, with a lot of amenities that would keep you entertained and relaxed. It’s off the major tourist attractions in the island. The moment you walk in, you’ll feel the calmness and tranquility of the resort. FYI, The restaurant makes their food from the scratch and requires a little bit of patience. I really enjoyed my day at the resort.

This resort is ridiculously expensive even by Caribbean standards. What is more the food at the fish restaurant took an age to arrive and was cold- for nearly $250 U.S. for 2 not unreasonable to expect better. The 30% combined sales tax and service charge is steep by Caribbean standards . Wine is absurdly pricy - about 12x French prices as compared to 6-8x experienced elsewhere in St Kitts. The staff are well drilled rather than genuinely friendly . The location is gorgeous. We won’t be returning or recommending this place.

My husband and I just returned home after spending an incredible week in paradise. We celebrated my special birthday and will take the memories with us for a very long time. As soon as we arrived we felt genuinely cared for and completely taken care of. It really was all of the people working at Park Hyatt St. Kitts that made this trip. The island is stunning and we had a pool suite looking out directly over the resort, the bay and Nevis in front of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food at all the restaurants on site- enjoying the local flavors, fresh fish and produce- definitely made with love. The day of my birthday I was completely spoiled - we enjoyed a private cabana with fantastic service and yummy drinks and food plus a delicious tasting dinner at their high end restaurant Stone Barn. And I was sung to all day. What a vacay. Ill dream of you until we get back to you again.
