We really loved our time here, what an incredible stay! You could tell the staff loved what they do, they get the little things right and make the stay comfortable and special. I booked a romantic dinner for me and my girlfriend and they did an incredible job. Everything is very clean and the beach is beautiful. We enjoyed a complimentary walking tour as well as the daily yoga class. The minibar was complimentary as well, very cool feature. I would definitely spend time here again when I am in Vietnam next time.

Our long-ish stay at Pandanus was fantastic. Where to start? The staff didn't know what good to do for us. The grounds have a beautiful layout, with such tasteful and artistic decorations everywhere, with an eye for detail and with lots of elements of the art of the Cham people - there is a Cham temple near by. This people is more influenced by Hinduism and has a most interesting history. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with palm trees and bougainvillaeas and of course the Pandanus plant and are so well-kept. There is a carp "dam/waterfall". Especially children were fascinated by the fish. The gardeners are at work every day. The birds - and the frogs! - thrive here. The beds are super comfortable. The rooms are spacious. There are also cosy bungalows with terraces scattered on the spacious grounds. The food is excellent, theres are Vietnamese dishes and Western, also for breakfast. The breakfast spread is lavish. There are lots of complimentary activities, like walking tours, yoga, tai chi. There is a daily shuttle bus to the nearest small town at 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00 pm. The staff were happy to teach us a little Vietnamese when we asked them (hope we didn't bother you too much, Quyin, Chi and Deun and Çoúc, but we were so interested!). The service and facilities by the two pools was great. They had nice drinks, for instance a refreshing mint and cucumber drink, as well as some fancy beer drinks and coctails and mocktails and a delicious coconut with water and tender flesh - almost a meal in itself! By the large pool there is also a restaruant facing the sea - fabulous for a sundowner! The bartender in the bar knew his job to perfection. The Christmas buffet was lavish with such attention to detail! Thank you for all your effort! The "house band" always created a high vibe! The beach was raked and cleaned daily and sun beds are there all the way, even on the beach itself. The pool staff were extremely attentive and helpful, and came running with mattresses or towels if we needed more. There are life guards. There were swings and hammocks etc by the beach and on the grounds and a play area for kids. We want to thank each and every one of the staff for making our stay like being in paradise and for spoiling us rotten! Eva - host and guest relations - was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of useful information. Qyuin in the guest relations/reception went out of her way to explain some linguistic challenges. Henry in guest relations went out of his way to comply with our requests and explaining cultural phenomena. Çuȯc in the restaurant gave the best 7 star service ever, and we cannot name each and every one, but they all did perform to 7 stars, also the people behind the scenes, the kitchen staff, gardeners, technicians, etc. Thank you Pandanus! It was very hard to leave Paradise!

Absolutely stunning resort!!! Would definitely go back! One thing that wasn’t listed in the description was the BATHROOM you will get! Honestly stunning, outside stone bath tub with greenery around, little steps leading to the tub, you can also shower there, honestly beautiful and worth every penny! Thank you to all the staff there who were extremely welcoming and provided us with the most relaxing and amazing time. Refreshments in your room will be replaced daily with water, fizzy drinks, tea, biscuits, lollipops, crisps, dried fruit snacks and in the evening the staff clean up your room, leave a little note on the bed with a coconut biscuit! It’s the little things! Would highly recommend, 10/10

Firstly, I'd like to say that this is a REAL review (unlike 95% of reviews in Vietnam...) - I received nothing whatsoever from the hotel for writing a review, and they did not ask me to leave one. I found the four-star Pandanus very seriously pushing five stars. A really excellent hotel, where the staff and the provided services truly go the extra mile. The rooms are generously sized, spotlessly clean, and well-tended. The resort and garden areas, pools, etc. are really very well looked-after, plainly with adequate staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent, but it can get pretty busy at times, so good to get there a little earlier than many, such as 8am. Food in the main restaurants is good, but not outstanding. It's very comfortable to be able to eat there on occasion, but I certainly wouldn't want to do that every day. The main bar area is lovely, but there is loud, live-music from the same band every single day, and there is no other relaxed bar to use for a chat, etc. It's therefore "entertainment", and it gets a little trying after a few occasions, especially as the set list is essentially the same every time. I think this reflects the fact that very many visitors are only there for a couple of days, included on some kind of "see Vietnam" tour. For longer stays, this becomes a bit limiting. The spa (for massages, etc.) is a gem. It occupies a superb, double-story building, and the programmes are varied and sensibly priced. I only had one (Thai) massage there, but it was outstanding, and one of the best I've had. And I've had many! The environment is relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. Book it in! My only other criticism is that the WiFi is really awful! The worst WiFi I've seen in such an establishment for a very long time. The signal strength is good, so there are adequate access points, but the internet behind it is close to useless. The WiFi connects, works (slowly) for a while, then either stays connected with no internet, or just randomly disconnects itself. It is NOT adequate, so be sure to have a (e)SIM that you can use for anything important. I would NOT want to try to conduct business video conferences from the hotel, which might be limiting for some. But - overall, I found the resort superb, and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to others.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort. The atmosphere was peaceful, surrounded by greenery and nature. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a great view. Breakfast was delicious and varied. I’ll definitely come back!
