Our holiday at Ozen Bolifushi was truly one of the most unforgettable vacations we’ve ever experienced. The resort offers absolute tranquility, complete privacy, top-tier service, and a wide range of activities for all ages. Everything was seamless from start to finish – we didn’t encounter a single issue during our stay. I can wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful escape. It’s a place we’ll always remember with a smile.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a wonderful week at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi. It was our first visit – but certainly not our last. This hotel and island truly impress with outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, a wide range of activities, and exceptional quality. The extraordinary experience doesn’t begin upon arrival at the island, but already at Malé Airport. Right after landing, we were warmly welcomed by friendly hotel staff who took care of our luggage and guided us to a private, air-conditioned lounge where drinks and snacks were served. They handled everything, including the necessary paperwork. Shortly afterward, we boarded a spacious and luxurious yacht. The 30-minute transfer to Bolifushi Island was already relaxing, with the staff ensuring we could begin our vacation stress-free. Upon arrival at Bolifushi, we were welcomed with live music, flowers, and fresh coconut drinks. We were then taken to our villa and introduced to our personal butler, who provided all the necessary information – including his mobile number for direct contact. Our butler, Asfar, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. He kept us updated with daily activities, kids club schedules, and answered every question we had. Each day, he checked in briefly to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. His professionalism and dedication were truly commendable. We stayed in a beach villa on the south side of the island. The villa was spacious, featuring a large bathroom, a private pool, and direct access to our own stretch of beach. The way the villas are designed ensures complete privacy. We especially recommend the south side of the island because the house reef is nearby – perfect for snorkeling. Every day we discovered stunning corals and colorful fish. A highlight was spotting a blacktip reef shark and a stingray. It felt like entering a different world each time. Of course, the entire island is beautiful. Each family member receives a bicycle with a personalized license plate – a charming touch! You can easily explore the island this way, whether heading to the gym, kids club, or your favorite restaurant. At the main pool, you’re served the "drink of the day," and lunchtime offers BBQ or delicious finger food. The pool area has plenty of cabanas, so there’s no need to rush out early to reserve a spot. The international restaurant next to the pool offers outstanding cuisine that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We especially appreciated the clear labeling of all ingredients – one family member has a severe nut allergy, so this attention to detail gave us great confidence. The kitchen staff even offered to prepare special nut-free dishes, including fresh donuts made daily. Dining right on the beach, with breathtaking views, made every meal special. (Watch out – the resident heron might try to "borrow" a bite of your food in exchange for a photo op!) In addition to the wide selection of restaurants – including international, Asian, Indian, Arabian, and French cuisine – there are many activities available: snorkeling, the spa, the kids club, water aerobics, and more. The fitness center is well-equipped and beautifully located, surrounded by water and beaches, allowing you to work out while watching the sunrise and schools of fish. If anything, we would love to see more equipment for bodyweight exercises, aerobics, or stretching. Currently, the focus is more on weight and cardio training. To sum it all up: this was our best vacation ever. Our expectations were high, but the staff at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi exceeded them in every way. We will cherish the thousands of photos and the wonderful memories for a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend OZEN Reserve Bolifushi – and would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Asfar (our butler) and Winston (gym instructor) for making this trip truly unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to this incredible place.

We are visiting the Maldives for the first time, and a lot of time an effort goes into researching which island and resort to pick. I chose to look at Travel & Leisure Awards for Asia 2024. Also we looked at villas that offered slides into the ocean, which narrows the selection a bit. We chose Ozen Reserve Bolifushi because of its water villas. I am writing this review while still being on the island, because we are absolutely blown away. For the life of me I do not understand how Ozen Reserve Bolifushi is not in the top 10 list of the best resorts in the Maldives or Top 10 list of the best family resorts in the Maldives. Our first destination was a top 10 property and Ozen is 20x better!! It all starts at the airport where you guided by friendly people to their lounge in the airport, you are then boarded on their luxury catamaran for a 35min trip guided by great staff telling you along the way what you are seeing. When you arrive on the jetty you receive a very warm welcome by the staff, and this is when you meet your Hiyani. You Hiyani is described as being your shadow, and trust me he is exactly that. Moosa was our Hiyani, and that man was absolutely incredible!! He made our stay so enjoyable and pleasant, I can not express how grateful we are for his work. We even had a slight medical situation which was attended to in the space of 15min! Moosa was/is fantastic but I'm pretty sure the other Hiyanis are as well because all staff were incredible, doing everything they can to make your stay a memorable one. This resort is where memories for a lifetime is created. Som ran Vista flawlessly, along with the staff. Leroy the resort manager is always about greeting everyone, making sure all guests feel at home. Nancy made sure our dinner at Origine was amazing with her humor and service, highly recommend btw. I forget the names of the others, for that please excuse me. But the staff at the kids club were amazing, the chef and server at our dinner and movie were just as amazing as well. This resort is fantastic for families. We stayed at the 2 bedroom Reserve Over Water Villas, and the villa was/is beautiful. It was kept prestine by the staff. It's one of those you have to see it or experience it to know what I'm talking about. You are not going to bore yourself here, if you are one of those that can't sit still and need activities. A wealth of choices here to choose from, including a mini submarine. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this resort, and I am usually picky. If they had a loyalty programme I would sign up right away, because I would like to try their Earth pool Reserve villas and I would request Moosa as my Hiyani when we return. My tips, pick the Reserve Villas if you can, if you choose the 2 bedroom overwater reserve villas with slide pick 801 for uninterrupted views. Head over to Makana Beach on the resort for the feeling of total seclusion. Thank you Ozen Reserve Bolifushi for creating memories for a lifetime and see you again soon. UPDATE: The amazing service continues upon arrival in the airport as staff is there to greet you, and help you check in. Zemeel was fantastic, in helping us on our way.

We had a really great stay and amazing butler Ahoo, he absolutely made your stay spotless👌🏻 The hotel has a great spa, couple of up to the Michelin level restaurants, all possible options of water sports, well equipped small gym, bicycles, enough areas on the island to do your 10000 steps daily😁 We stayed in both water and land villas and it was a good decision. I personally liked the land villa more, it just seemed newer to me. An Indian restaurant is an absolute must visit, as well as the French restaurant (great selection of wine and very fine food). In the main restaurant food was versatile from one night to another. For lunch there was always sushi point. What I loved the most, that couple of times they’ve also made a sugarless desserts❤️ Fruit station was amazing too. There’s also well managed area for kids. Every staff member was super friendly! It was such a fresh air after India (literally) to see people being genuinely helpful not for tips, but because they share the values of the Ozen hotel and actually like their jobs and customer service. 100% recommended. P.S.: yes, not far from this island there are building works going on, but throughout the week there were maybe 2-3 times when we have actually noticed it. There are plenty of space where it was super quiet (all sunrise villas).

I recently had an unforgettable vacation at OZEN Resort in the Maldives, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless — the warm welcome, the incredible views, and the top-notch service. The overwater villa I stayed in was stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and came with a private pool and direct access to the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and panoramic sea views was an experience I’ll never forget. A special thanks to Dario and Arjun, who were the highlights of the staff. Their genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism made a huge difference. They made sure every part of my stay was seamless and memorable. Everything from the food to the activities and the overall ambiance was perfect. I left feeling completely relaxed and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxury escape in the Maldives!
