Location to the Broadway theatres is definitely the biggest plus for this hotel! It is no frills, but all that we needed for this trip. Our room was facing the street and was very noisy when trying to sleep, so for that reason I may not use this hotel again. The shower pressure wasn’t great, but did the job. The AC worked great even in the July heatwave! Be sure to make a reservation at Serendipity if you plan to eat there during your stay. It is definitely worth it!

Perfect location. I traveled solo and felt extremely safe here. Great for someone not planning to spend a lot of time in their room. It felt like staying in a renovated apartment building. You could hear everything in the halls and room doors slamming but otherwise quiet. Easy, quick walk to so many things including H&M, Central Park, and Broadway. Very clean, the only dirt I noticed was around the sink faucet. Most people probably wouldn’t even notice. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a you get what you pay for hotel. The pros: the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the bed is clean and comfortable, the Cons: old place in need of upgrading. Rooms are very small, towels are thin, chairs in lobby are old and dirty, sink in the bathroom was cracked, no hand soap provided.

I Never Write Negative Reviews, But This Was Unacceptable I never write negative reviews, but my experience with OYO Times Square has been incredibly disappointing. I had to cancel my trip due to a pregnancy-related medical restriction and a last-minute flight cancellation. I submitted all documentation, and Booking.com requested a refund on my behalf. The hotel refused and told them I needed to reach out directly. I did — immediately — with a kind and clear email explaining my situation, along with all proof. They never responded. Not a single word. This wasn’t a casual change of plans — it was a serious medical situation. The complete lack of empathy and basic communication is shocking. If you book here and something goes wrong, don’t expect any support. This hotel clearly prioritizes policy over people. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

My sister and I met in New York City for a 4-day sister trip and had an absolute blast!!!! The hotel was not only affordable but also exceeded our expectations in term of service. The staff was fantastic, and we especially want to give a shout out to Maria. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome-like we were old friends.She was always there with a warm smile, great food recommendations, and genuine interest in how our day went every evening. Maria, thank you for taking such great care of us- you truly made our trip extra special. We'll definitely be back Shannon and Laura
