I am reviewing as a regular player at the SAii tennis club. It’s great to see that the hotel rooms are being upgraded. It would be even better if investment is put towards the tennis courts. The location and surrounding is idyllic, especially for arranging overseas camps with the upgraded rooms. However, SAii misses the mark due to the old outdoor court surfaces, and the very odd indoor court plastic surface. It’s a shame that it’s been left as is as it would be an easy fix. If the hotel were so minded, the indoor space would be perfect for a clay surface! It could also benefit from having a coffee / smoothie / snack outlet.

When we arrived at Laguna Phuket, our first impression was not great. However the staff on reception and the Director of rooms did an amazing job finding a room more to our liking. Their attention to us and the way they worked to find a solution that met our needs was fantastic. Real customer service. We also had cars to the club room and the staff in the club were brilliant. The staff alone turned our experience into a brilliant one. I can’t praise them enough.

The hotel is very spacious, excellent location right on the beach with three pool areas. Lots of activities to choose from (sailing, paddle boarding, tennis etc). The breakfast is also incredible with lots of choices from all cultures. We had Laila clean our room every day and she was also exceptional. We would stay again. First time here on honeymoon but also very child friendly and safe. The people and staff here are also very lovely and helpful.

Great for families, excellent pool, everything is beautiful - gardens, restaurants, sitting areas etc. The staff are wonderful. Rooms are nice and restaurant food is of a great standard. The only feedback i have is the water slide can be a little dangerous when the team member up the top isn't properly supervising. I got hit in the back by an oncoming person and my son twice while he was still sliding down - all because the person up the top wasn't paying attention amd allowed the next person to go down.
