The hotel is located in an amazing area. The beach is beautiful and very untouched. The hotel is well designed, especially because it dedicates plenty of space to greenery. The setting is perfect for spending a few days with family and is very kid-friendly. The pool is really enjoyable, surrounded by coconut palms. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Breakfast is satisfactory but nothing special; it's unoriginal and becomes repetitive after a few days. The staff is very friendly, but as the stay progresses, you sometimes notice a lack of experience among the hotel staff, which isn't up to the standard you'd expect for a hotel in this price range.

We had the most unforgettable stay at Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, genuine smiles, and world-class hospitality. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our holiday truly special, and we cannot thank the entire team enough. A special shoutout to the incredible staff who made our experience so memorable: Oil, Cream, Tu, Chef Tao, Parn, Jam, Mew, Bew, Sean, Alban, Chef Kung (the amazing omelette lady!), Mai, Games, Kitty, Shane (our awesome boxing trainer), Tor (poolside champ and trainer), Tum (our billiard buddy!), Pim and Ae at reception, Ta the bellboy who helped with our luggage, and Eve and Jim, our kind and hardworking room attendants. You all made us feel right at home. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to the Kids Club team — Prae, Aommy, Kook, Nong, See, Nana, and May — for taking such wonderful care of our little ones. They absolutely loved every moment with you, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. The food, the beach, the pool, and the overall atmosphere were fantastic, but it’s truly the people who made our trip exceptional. Outrigger Khao Lak isn’t just a resort — it’s a place filled with heart and soul. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing and joyful escape. We can’t wait to come back!

Exceptional Care, Amazing Service & Unforgettable Moments! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My husband had suffered an Achilles tendon rupture, and they immediately provided a wheelchair and assisted us in every possible way. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference during our stay. The housekeeping team kept our room spotless, and every request was met with a smile. The telephone service was quick and efficient whenever we needed assistance. We spent our days in paradise, sipping incredible cocktails under the palm trees by the beach. My husband and I also treated ourselves to a fantastic massage almost every day from Cat, an incredibly skilled and attentive masseuse—pure bliss! Down by the beach, we were taken care of by the amazing "beach team"—AU, SA, Tum, Chane, and Baw—who ensured that everyone had a great time. They handled everything from Thai boxing, volleyball, football, tai chi, and pétanque to friendly conversations, sunbeds, and fresh towels. They took care of absolutely everything—except the massages, which were expertly handled by the wonderful masseuses. The breakfast at Mala Kitchen was fantastic, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The dinner experience at Edgewater was equally amazing—exquisite food and impeccable service! A special thank you to Alban, Fang, and the lovely lady with the red lipstick for making every meal special. A special shoutout to AE in reception, who was always there to help, and again to Cat, whose massages made our stay even more unforgettable. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional level of care. The staff not only helped us around the property but also arranged transportation to medical appointments, waited with us, and ensured everything went smoothly. Their generosity and professionalism turned a stressful situation into a much more comfortable experience. Check-out was seamless, and once again, the staff was there to assist us. Would we return? Without a doubt! This hotel offers not only luxury and comfort but also a level of hospitality that is rare to find. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding service, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences.

Nice hotel, who managed to accommodate us with an interconnecting room for the kids. Decent buffet spread in the morning. Only slight grumble is that it is about a 20min trip out of Khao Lak town, but that's easily sorted by a taxi. The plus side is it's lovely and quiet, and the beach is not crowded at all. Hotel grounds were also very nice! Saw a bunch of lizards and the kids liked the geckos!

We stayed 10 nights at Outrigger and had a great time the weather was up and down but all was good. The staff were amazing nothing was any bother for them and whether it was Breakfast or dinner,we were always made to feel welcome and fussed over, Our selection for Breakfast and dinner was very good and Whitney singing at dinner was alwaya entertaining and fun Pool area and beach were very well enjoyed as was Ong and staff at the bar. They run a shuttle into the Market area and Khao Lak every day but there is a fee. Special thanks to Breakfast team Koa,Mia,Bew,Chumee,Mai Dinner and Bar Alban,Oil,Cream, and the amazing Whitney on Guitar and our favourite barman Omh. Room was spacious and comfortable, the air con worked very well.
