⚠️ Hotel Under Renovation – Major Disappointment Despite an Exceptional Staff The hotel is currently under renovation: the entire main upper area is closed. The restaurant shown in the photos is closed, as well as the main reception. Meals and check-in are done in an annex building, which is not mentioned at all at the time of booking. I was extremely disappointed upon arrival, especially since I had booked a premium room in a 5-star hotel. The first room assigned to me was run-down and nothing like the photos. I immediately went back to reception and they changed my room, but clearly, if I hadn’t complained, they would have left me in that condition. That being said, the reception staff are very kind, welcoming, smiling, and attentive. 👉 The main issue is cleanliness and maintenance: • Room floors dirty and poorly cleaned • Housekeeping done daily but without proper equipment (no proper vacuuming, no effective floor washing) • Very worn-out bathroom: trash bin and equipment are damaged, overall not worthy of a 5-star hotel • Dirty elevators and walls, poorly maintained • The room floor was so dirty that I had to wash my feet before going to bed This is not the fault of the housekeeping staff, who are doing their best, but they clearly lack the proper equipment to clean as they should in a hotel of this standard. A deep weekly cleaning and basic maintenance would already make a huge difference. For comparison, I stayed in another hotel in Hurghada that was cheaper, and the difference in cleanliness was very noticeable. Regarding food, the annex restaurant lacks variety, and the juices served are from cartons, not fresh juices, which is disappointing for a 5-star hotel. In another hotel, we had fresh strawberry juice, which shows the difference in quality. ➡️ Positive points (and they really matter): The staff are truly exceptional and deserve special mention: • Reda, Restaurant Manager • A very friendly and attentive waiter • Mohammed and Mahmoud • The lady wearing a white veil, extremely kind • The head chef, lovely and very professional Everyone was kind, professional, and attentive, and honestly the staff are the reason the stay was bearable. Special mention to the spa: prices are negotiable, the spa is high quality, and the massages were excellent. The beach is beautiful, as well as the swimming pools, but unfortunately this does not compensate for the overall condition of the hotel. ➡️ Conclusion: A hotel that could be very good, but is clearly not at the level of a 5-star hotel, especially due to the lack of transparency about the renovations and the serious lack of cleanliness and maintenance.

Overall it was OK, but this is definitely not a 5* hotel. Hotel itself is nice, spacious, water was clean but cold, hotel could be more clean but you're in Egypt, so you have to lower your standards. Rooms are spacious and clean. Havent tryed any hotel services so I wont comment on that one. I described Food and Drinks below. Hotel personnel seemed like they dont care (with some exceptions) and you're actually annoying them that you want something to drink. f.e. there is a desk where you can get turkish coffe - the average time to get it was 30-40mins. Further, hotel is full of russians and I believe that's why the services are as they are, especially the restaurant. So if you want more for your money, I'd suggest to go to another hotel, maybe another country. :D

If you are looking for a relaxing escape we highly recommend to book here cause Our stay at Pyramisa beach Resort was fantastic!! The beach is beatiful and the rooms are well arranged. The food was ok, the choice is wide and its quality is quite fine. I would like to underline the professionalism of Mohamed Ahmed from the reception, the special kindness of Abdel Rahman from The Grind bar near the reception, the hospitality and the friendliness of Yousef (the pizza maker) and Khaled (the grill guy). The restaurant isn't as clean as it should be for a 5-star hotel; birds are flying around indoors. There is no angle in the bathtub, so the water stays in the cabin and also on the bathroom floor. The room was very clean, thanks to Reda from the cleaning service. The majority of the workers are kind, especially Alaa, who works mostly by the pool. The food is really great, with a lot of different meals. Desserts are fantastic. The beach is nice and very clean; you will love it. Some of the hotel workers speak only Russian to you, even though not all guests are from Russia. Overall, it is a very good hotel, just not one that deserves 5 stars.

Very disappointed with our hotel. During the day almost nothing to do, animators not motivated and don’t care too much about guests.The animation is really bad and boring. Evening shows are very short and looks unprofessional, same dances every night. Music stop early and hotel become dead after show. Animators more busy to other things than make fun in hotel. I don’t recommend this hotel if you want good animation or entertainment like we wanted..
