This was the perfect location for our family trip. Whether you are a couple or have kids with you, you will be made to feel special. The staff are exceptional, the rooms perfectly positioned into the cliffside to take advantage of the views over the Caldera. We met people that return here each year and we would do the same, if we get the opportunity too. Thank you to the team at On The Rocks. We will be back, from "The Family".

Absolutely wonderful location. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuine. We didn’t have to lift a finger due to the responsiveness and attentiveness of the team here. The food was very good. The location and view are unbelievable. The cocktails were delicious. The spa services were very enjoyable as well and the spa therapist was very nice and professional.

On the Rocks hotel was AMAZING! Every single part of this stay was perfect. The staff went above and beyond helping us/serving our wants and needs. The two receptions were very kind and even had time to chat with us. Maria gave us very good recommendations on places to go to eat/visit/etc. The restaurant at the hotel was incredible too! The chef cooks amazing food. We ate there every night of our stay because the food was perfect every time! Sharif, Chara, Suham were so kind to us and took time to chat with us on our stay. They made us feel like family! We even met the manager, and he took time to chat with us as well! The location was perfect too, close to shops/markets etc. And the view from On the Rocks hotel is by far the BEST! The staff truly made our trip lovely and unforgettable. We didn't want to leave, and we love On the Rocks so much! 10/10 highly recommend this hotel is the best!

I recently stayed at On the Rocks Hotel and had a mixed experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable, with breathtaking views. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, making for a pleasant stay overall.
However, my experience was marred by a serious issue with the cleaning staff. During my stay, I noticed that some of mine and my sister’s clothes were stolen. This was incredibly disappointing and made me question the security measures in place at the hotel.
While I loved the stunning views and the prime location, the incident with the missing clothes was a significant letdown. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves their security protocols to prevent such issues in the future.

We felt it lives up to it's name as a small luxury hotel. We have a birds eye view of the caldera from our room, and have a delicious breakfast everyday from the balcony. Also really good if you want to hike to Oia or fira. It's about 1 or 2 hours, which is quite manageable. But you want to do it early, as returning to the hotel can be a trek by public bus.
