Absolutely love the occidental Punta Cana ! This was our second time visiting in the last 7 years and it was just as good as the first time! The food in the buffet always changed daily and you could find something for everyone,The drinks at the bar were always good and the service was amazing. Night time they always had great shows/entertainment on the main stage,the beaches were absolutely breathtaking and super clean. Rooms were also super clean and up to date,The restaurants on the resort were always nice and each one had a different vibe with great food. Customer service was always great and anything we needed was delivered right away. The pool swim up bar was a great addition and the bartender Yessi was AMAZING! Super friendly and knew exactly how to make the drinks perfectly. The spa worker Nelson was also super sweet and we were taken care of perfectly! Definitely would come back!

Beautiful beach. For the cost of 2080 for 2 people it is worth every dime. Do your homework on how to speak Spanish or bring your Google translating app. Food is good and fresh. Beds are comfortable. Alcohol is reasonably good. It is worth upgrading to premium for the bar on the beach or you are waiting 45 minutes at the buffet bar. Hotel staff is friendly if you treat them with respect. Mexican Italian and steakhouse all good. We haven't tried oriental or seafood. The entertainment team is great and they keep you going. Rosaura, from entertainment team was spectacular, very friendly and welcoming. Ask for her when you go.We will be back. Don't go to occidental club presentation unless you're really interested.

Booked this trip as a birthday surprise gift and did not regret it at all. We did the Royal Level and from arriving at the hotel that’s the experience we arrived to the moment we left, everything was great not to mention every staff member was friendly, and helpful.
On arrival we were shuttled from the lobby to our private section of the hotel for check-in and briefing then showed to our amazing suite. The room was clean and just amazing, with a lovely view and wonderful amenities, which was cleaned and stocked daily.
The resort itself was beautiful and so much fun, there was nothing that was needed that was not available. They had a buffet, several restaurants, snack bars and bars that had great food and drinks, the food was great quality, and the portions were really good. Most restaurants were open for lunch but required a reservation for dinner and we were lucky to try all but one restaurant during our trip.
The employees at each area of the resort were super welcoming, friendly and helpful. I have to give a shout out to the manager of the Royal Level Luis and the hotels Guest Service Manager Betania they both made our trip so comfortable and enjoyable.
This was by far my best vacation and would definitely visit again.

Honest Review is that, the food is okay, the customer service is also okay…. but the entertainment is quite amazing. that recreation team ensures that there is always something to do regardless of weather age or language. I would considered coming back solely based on that! the foam party was the highlight of my trip. They are carrying the resort on their back

My family and I were there for 3 days and 2 night at the royal level rooms. The services was amazing. They were friendly and very attentive, specially Julian. Anything we needed no matter the time he was there. The food was good. We had our restaurant separate from the rest of the hotel but still were able to enjoy the whole hotel. I will recommend this hotel definitely will be coming back.
