I recently stayed at Occidental Eden Beruwala, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience overall. This time they had an attractive 35% flat discount across all room categories, which made the stay an excellent value for money. Food & Beverage When it comes to food, I was genuinely impressed. The buffet had a limited but well-curated spread, and the dinner buffet especially stood out with its delicious flavors and a few lively action stations. The highlight of my culinary experience was their fine dining restaurant “Sippi” — a calm and elegant space with excellent food and relaxing ambiance. I highly recommend trying their Roast Pan with Black Pork Curry — absolutely worth it! Rooms & Service The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, making it a relaxing stay. The staff members were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help, which really enhanced the overall experience. Their service quality truly reflects the hospitality standards expected from a reputed resort. Wellness Center & Spa The only area that needs improvement is the Wellness Center & Spa. While the ambiance and setting were pleasant, the service quality and the staff interaction were below expectations, especially for a property with a 5-star rating. Compared to other luxury resorts, the SPA operations didn’t quite meet the same high standards as the rest of the resort’s offerings. Overall In summary, Occidental Eden Beruwala is a beautiful resort that offers a peaceful escape with great food, clean rooms, and excellent service — a perfect value-for-money stay. I’d definitely consider returning, and I truly hope they work on enhancing their SPA and wellness experience to match the rest of their 5-star charm.

We had an amazing experience at Occidental Paradise Dambulla. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and valued. The Front Office team was professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The villa was beautifully designed, very clean, and surrounded by lush greenery a perfect place to relax and unwind. The restaurant team went above and beyond, serving delicious food with warm smiles every time. What we loved most was the calm and peaceful atmosphere throughout the resort. It truly felt like a paradise surrounded by nature. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We look forward to coming back soon!

Where She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always had a warm smile that made me feel right at home. The food was bery nice which made it more specific.Whether it was assisting with every single point, offering helpful local tips, or ensuring everything was perfect in my room, pool are and the restaurant , her professionalism and kindness stood out. Perfect Coastal Getaway! Occidental Eden Beruwala is an ideal destination for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Located about 100 km from Colombo Airport, the resort offers a calm, serene, and isolated atmosphere right by the coast—perfect for unwinding. We stayed for 2 nights in a pool + sea view room, and it was absolutely worth it. The vibe was chill, and the views were stunning. The swimming pool was spacious, though a bit shallow, but still a great spot to relax. The pool bar added to the experience with its set operating hours. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with a decent spread, including good options for vegetarians. We didn’t feel the need to step out for meals as the in-house restaurant and bar served tasty food at reasonable prices - the overall resort is not pricey, which makes it even more appealing. Evenings were made more enjoyable with live music during dinner, adding a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. The Ayurvedic Spa (available at an extra cost) offered a soothing and rejuvenating experience. A special mention to all the staff, who were extremely courteous and always served with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. Overall, a perfect holiday spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka’s coastline. Highly recommended!

From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome and comfortable. She took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect with my meal.
