We went to Occidental Eden for a team outing on full board, and all three meals were available in buffet style. The food was definitely the best part, there was a good variety, multi-cuisine options, and everything we tried was really tasty. They also had a few live cooking stations, which was a nice touch. The pool is big and clean, and the hotel has direct access to the beach, which made it even better. We also played mini golf, great for some casual fun. The staff were friendly and very supportive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but not very spacious. Still, they had all the basic amenities we needed. The interior of the hotel, especially the common areas, was really nice and well designed.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach hotel! The location is perfect—just steps away from the ocean with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and available at any time of day. They went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming beach getaway.

We had a recent stay at the Occidental Eden Beruwala. The location is a real highlight – the hotel has a beautiful beach, offering stunning views. The hotel itself has a unique and beautiful design. We found the staff to be consistently friendly and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The large, clean pool was also excellent and perfect for relaxing. However, there were some noticeable downsides. The buffet lacked variety, and frankly, the food just wasn't that tasty. More frustratingly, especially since we booked a premium room, basic amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing. For the price point of a premium room, we absolutely expected these essentials to be provided. Overall, the beautiful beachfront location, unique design, friendly staff, and great pool make for a pleasant stay. But the limited and mediocre food options, combined with the surprising lack of basic toiletries in our premium room, definitely let the experience down. Addressing these points would make the hotel much better value.

We visited this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, it was a lovely experience. This has easily become one of my favorite hotels from the beautiful interior design to the outstanding customer service and cleanliness, everything was well maintained and thoughtfully managed. Initially, we were a bit disappointed as the room we received through our Booking.com reservation came with a “roof view,” which didn’t quite meet our expectations for a special occasion. However, once we spoke to the receptionist, they were incredibly understanding and accommodating. They promptly upgraded us to a room with a stunning pool view, which completely turned things around I absolutely loved it! The food was also a highlight fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a treat, and it really enhanced the entire stay. The staff were genuinely friendly, always smiling and ready to help, which made us feel truly welcomed. Maintenance throughout the hotel was also excellent —everything was clean, well-kept, and functioning perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Check-in was smooth, and every request was handled promptly with genuine care. The restaurant team was equally outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with a level of service that made every meal a pleasure. A special mention must go to Manager Ashan, whose leadership clearly shines through in every department. His attention to detail, constant presence, and personal touch made our experience unforgettable. It’s rare to see a manager so genuinely involved in ensuring guests have the best possible stay. We left feeling valued and well taken care of, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
