The OBLU SELECT Sangeli Serenity Plan includes the following:

  • Breakfast (7am to 10am), lunch (12.30pm to 2.30pm) and dinner (7pm to 10pm) served at The Courtyard
  • A la carte fine-dining lunch (12.30pm to 2.30pm) or dinner (7pm to 10.30pm) at either JustWok or Just Grill - one visit per one to three-night stay, two visits per four to seven-night stay, three visits per eight to 11-night stay and four visits per 12-night stay and above (booking required - children under 16 can only dine at Just Grill or JustWok during dinner)
  • Traditional Maldivian snacks at the Hedhikaa Hut (4pm to 6pm)
  • Wide selection of spirits, wines and beer, as well as unlimited signature cocktails and mocktails from a menu of 16 cocktails and 10 mocktails at The Sangs (9am to 1am)
  • Unlimited orders from a menu featuring one cocktail of the day, one mocktail of the day, wines beers and soft drinks at The Rock (5pm to 7pm)

We stayed in over water villa. Room, pool, reef around the room is nice. They have a buggy pickup service from room to wherever you want to go. House reef is very nice lot of fish. We saw turtles and black tip sharks around the resort reef. We did an excursion, swim with nurse sharks, it was 10/10. Great experiences. Food is so so in the buffet. A lot of selection, but some dishes are just blah. Services in restaurants are very attractive. Food at Just Grill is very good. Two complaints, First, in-room mini bar and snacks. It is all inclusive, but they don’t put snacks for us. Second complaint is the reception! On checkout day, they rushed us out from the room. And we had to sit and wait at reception for other guests and a boat about 45 mins. Could give us more time to pack. If other guests have more time to pack! Why they rushing us around!!

One of the most beautiful places you still stay at. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and took care of us from the time we landed in male to the moment we left. The food was excellent, especially the Indian food. The entire property was so clean and well cared for, it's hard to find anything wrong with it. We spent our vacation snorkeling, swimming, relaxing on the beach and drinking/eating. The snorkeling right off the property was gorgeous, we saw plenty of marine life and the reef around the property has been well taken care of by the hotel.

Our stay at OBLU SELECT Sangeli was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home in paradise. The property is breathtaking—crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and beautifully maintained villas that blend luxury with island charm. We stayed in the water villa with a private pool, and waking up to the ocean view every day was surreal. The all-inclusive plan is truly generous, covering everything from fine dining and cocktails to exciting water sports and excursions. Each meal was a delight, especially the seafood and the themed nights at the restaurants. The staff is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Special thanks to the activities team for keeping things fun and engaging, and to the housekeeping team for their impeccable service. Whether you’re a couple looking for romance or a family wanting adventure and relaxation, OBLU SELECT Sangeli ticks every box. It’s more than just a holiday; it’s an unforgettable experience.

The resort is very nice, we had a water villa facing east, which was great, a big and fully equipped room and the house reef was just in front of our deck! The house reef is excellent, saw turtles, sharks, eagle rays and lots of colourful fish and corals. Top! Service was great everywhere in the resort especially mentioning the restaurant and reception staff. Food was really gourmet in the 2 a la cart restaurants, definitely a must visit. The main restaurant buffet was a bit of a let-down, repetitive, very Indian/eastern oriented, only the few live stations saved it. Definitely not 5 star. Service was great though. Dive center was another let down, not flexible, nothing special in the excursions we went to, have been to much more adventurous and special excursions in other Maldives resorts. Spa was excellent, really professional, a must try and some procedures included in AI. The reason for the overall 3 stars is the departure trip to the airport- reception staff was great, but once boarding the boat the crew told us to sit in the back since front seats are “reserved for staff”, we did, next to the engine. It is a not a totally closed boat, so no air-con and no water provided, waves kept hitting and our seat and we got all wet, hot and by the time we got to the airport we needed a change of clothes! See pic. So, overall, 5 stars I have to give for staff, reef, rooms and must mention that Sangeli is definitely a great AI option for first time Maldives visitors with kids. Couples, repeats and keen snorkellers/divers could find a better option for the price.

We had an unforgettable experience at OBLU SELECT Sangeli in the Maldives! The island is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach and crystal-clear waters. We stayed in a water villa that faced the sea, and it was a dream come true. The villa’s location allowed us to see a variety of fish swimming right below us – perfect for snorkeling! The underwater world here is vibrant and full of life. The service was exceptional. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They truly make you feel like you’re at home. The food was another highlight – there’s a great variety of delicious dishes, all prepared with care and full of flavor. Many thanks again to all the staff on the island for their thoughtful and warm service.
