I am currently a guest at O2 Beach Club, and I am writing this review while sitting in the lobby because I am still waiting for issues to be resolved. I specifically chose this resort for my birthday trip and expected a level of service that matched the price point. Instead, my vacation started with one failure after another. Before arriving, I arranged airport transportation through the resort. When I landed, nobody was there. I was then told there was confusion regarding my reservation, despite the fact that I had made arrangements in advance. As a result, I had to figure out transportation on my own and pay additional costs just to get to the resort. When I finally arrived, I was informed that my room was not ready, even though check-in time had already passed. After a day of travel, the last thing any guest wants to hear is that the room they paid for is unavailable. What has frustrated me most is not even the mistakes themselves. Mistakes happen. It is the complete lack of urgency, accountability, empathy, and customer service. No meaningful apology. No effort to make things right. No acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I requested a supervisor and was told someone would come speak with me. I am still waiting. At this point, I feel like I have spent more time advocating for myself than the resort has spent trying to assist me. For a property that markets itself as a luxury all-inclusive experience, the service I have received upon arrival has fallen far below expectations. This is supposed to be a birthday trip. Instead of feeling welcomed, valued, or excited to start my vacation, I feel ignored and frustrated. I will be filing a formal complaint with management regarding this experience.

I visited the resort with my family for 4 nights. The property is good, but definitely not a 5* and it is extremely overpriced for what is offered. I paid almost US$ 11,000 for 3 rooms for 4 nights, and it was not worth more than US$ 6-7,000. I normally stay in 5* resorts and I would rate this property as a 4* at best. The choice of restaurants is very limited for that many days and gets boring. The best restaurant is Oro and I was able to enjoy it only for one breakfast and one dinner as it was closed the other times. Service in the other restaurants was extremely slow and the food sometimes came out cold or not at all. My bathroom got flooded one day as the shower door did not close properly and the water came out into the hallway. After calling housekeeping twice and going to the front desk twice, it took them almost 5 hours to cleanup, because they would not do it till it was time for the turndown service. In the meantime, I we had to keep walking through the wet hallway trying not to slip and fall. This is totally inexcusable. Don't plan on going back.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay in Barbados! Traveling with a five-year-old and an 18-month-old can sometimes be challenging, but the entire staff made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly cared for from the moment we arrived. The resort itself was beautiful — the ocean views were breathtaking, the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. One of the highlights of our trip was the food. Everything we ate was excellent, and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s needs. We were genuinely impressed by the quality, variety, and attention to detail. What really made this experience special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. They treated us like family, and that level of hospitality made our vacation unforgettable. Overall, we had an amazing experience and created memories we’ll cherish forever. We would absolutely recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway.

We were a group of 7 people celebrating birthdays and the staff was welcoming and friendly around the entire resort. Jill at the front desk, Shaquille the bartender, Jakobi, Yvette and Kevin were some of the best that I met. The interaction with our group and recommendations for food/drink selections, excursions and island suggestions was helpful. We stayed in the Sunset building and the views were amazing. Housekeeping kept the mini fridge stocked and room clean. The AC was hard to regulate and the bathroom sink design was less than ideal which caused water to flow on the countertop. However the positive experience far outweighed a few design issues. Overall experience was wonderful and I would definitely return

I had the pleasure of visiting the peaceful Island of Barbados and the opportunity to stay at this resort. The staff were warm and welcoming upon my arrival! The resort has 4 restaurants which I highly recommend making reservations prior to your arrival because they become booked fast especially on the weekends! My room was like a one bedroom apartment with a huge shower and excellent views of the ocean. Like numerous resorts in the Caribbean, people reserve the lounge chairs extra early and disappear for 3-4 hours leaving other guests without the ability to enjoy the pool or ocean in a lounge chair! The staff will try their best to find you an unoccupied spot but I wish people were more considerate! The beach has strong waves and is somewhat rocky as you venture further from shore but you can enjoy it probably up to your knees depending on your height! Breakfast is only served until 10am, so if you want to enjoy it , no sleeping in. The food was tasty and provided some local cuisine. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable. The greatest strength of this resort is quietness and tranquility. By 10pm every night including weekends it was a ghost town. If you’re looking to party hearty this resort isn’t for you but if you want to chill book your stay!
