This hotel is beautiful.
The staff did everything possible to make the stay an amazing experience from a simple “Good Morning” to providing tremendous service throughout the hotel, not just in restaurants.
The food and drinks are almost too good to be true!
Unfortunately I cannot give the room 5 stars as the rooms themselves were beautiful, however we had an issue from night 1 where we kept coming back to the room and the floor was soaking causing a slipping hazard. This happened for 3 nights in a row and the issue changed from the fridge leaking to condensation. We then got the head of maintenance to attend who promised to get back to us after going to the manager, this did not happen. I called reception to follow this up, they then advised that we could change apartments and the new apartment was luxurious! It’s just concerning that they allowed this hazard to continue and get so bad.
Overall the stay was brilliant. It’s a shame that the we had the issues we did, it became very hard to ignore a soaking wet floor every night when all we wanted to do was sleep. I would love to return in the near future!

Went to brunch here on a Sunday, excepted better food for the price. Got a generic frozen style hash brown instead of chopped potatoes. For $250. Per person, I expect real potatoes for that kind of price at a 5 star spot. The customer service was great.

I cannot begin to appreciate our wonderful experience here at 02. My cousin booked her wonderful Jack and Jill and majority of her group stayed at 02 including myself. The service from day 1, was exceptional. I am still sitting here, 3.5 hours delayed for my flight and they are still accommodating to me.
The food, the rooms, the ambiance, the service…all immaculate. Out of this whole stay, I would say there was maybe one bad interaction with a bartender but nothing that we couldn’t have handled. The food was amazing. Everything we had, great. Each restaurant came with its own flare of cuisine and taste was not lacking.
The staff were friendly and welcoming no matter what situation. The rooms were beautiful. We ended up on the family side of the hotel but I can’t complain. The room size was amazing and the cleanliness superseded my expectation (and I'm a neat freak). Very family friendly which are things I look for being a mom of 2.
I would HIGHLY recommend making o2 beach club your place to stay. It’s walking distance to the St. Lawrence Gap (restaurants and bars) and cute little shops in the area.
The beach was very clean but the water on this side is a bit rough. Nice for sitting on the shore, but I personally wouldn’t go to deep.
O2 comes with a bit of a steep price tag but you pay for what you get, and it was an overall amazing experience! Will I come again? 101% yes…with my two little kids and hubby!

Unfortunately air Canada cancelled my flight on departure date but the staff, especially the manager Janelle helped me out so much. I can’t get over how helpful the team was at 02.

This is a top tier beach front resort. What makes it standout is that it is much smaller than other massive resorts we have stayed at, and there are no crowds at the pool, restaurants, beach etc..
Upon check-in a resort ambassador/personal conceirge is assigned to you who will be taking care of everything. We needed to get some laundry done and our ambassador took care of it in the evening, by using washer/dryer in an unused room. Our room did not have a washer dryer.
We got a one bedroom condo which was luxurious. Ocean view was fantastic.
Breakfast buffet at Elements had a lot of Continental food items, but was lacking local dishes.
Oro fine dining restaurant was good and we got some vegan dishes.
The house wines were decent but I switched to a cocktail after tasting the wines.
We enjoyed our two night stay during the T20 cricket world cup finals.

Overall, a positive experience for our group of 11. If you have kids, I’d look elsewhere though. For the price… if you’re without kids… maybe? If it’s on sale, sure.
The godawful -
Checkin. It took us 30 minutes to checkin. Sure, “island time is great,” except if you’re coming here where you’ve most likely arrived via the US or London. Waiting 30 minutes to checkin, while the bellhops watch your bags, but won’t deliver them for 30 minutes after that… it’s mind numbing. Pack a bathing suit in your carryon.
Want an extra hour or checkout? We spend $20k and they still want $40/room to checkout 30 minutes later.
Suggestion - collect relevant information via email before guests arrive.
The Good -
Staff is generally friendly, with some amazing standouts, and some folks that are in the wrong business.
Rooms are clean. Overall layout is good.
Oro restaurant is a standout of good food and efficient service.
Bad -
Very few water activities. The ocean here is pretty rough and seaweed covered. The sliver of swimable beach area was rough. Snorkeling is a joke. If you’re ok with the pools only, and hanging out but not swimming on the beach, this shouldn’t be an issue. It’s not the long white sandy beach you’re looking for. Wall on one side, rocks on the other.
Trash consistently in hallways. Not sure why this couldn’t be cleared, but it became a growing pile throughout the week.
Lunch, if you don’t want buffet, is incredibly long. 60-80 minute wait for hamburgers and hotdogs. Every day. Again - this place is not for kids.
They highlight their self serve pizza…. You’re better with frozen pizza. Don’t even need to heat it to beat this stuff.
Breakfast buffet is good. But if you like coffee, you might want to bring your own. It’s almost impossible to get coffee in the morning. Ton of staff, but getting someone to bring you a coffee has been the challenge of the trip.
It’s pretty far from spots you’d want to visit. If you’re not ready to camp out, budget for expensive and long cab rides.
Only one elevator. Expect to be fighting the staff and their carts anytime you want to go upstairs.
No AC is game room. I don’t get this one… doesn’t make any sense.
