Really good location at the top of the island. Easy walking distance to plenty of other bars and restaurants along the beach if you want to explore. Fisherman's grill and Z beach bar are great for food or drinks. The hotel is perfect spot with fantastic views of the beach. The staff really make the experience with everyone being so friendly. They have entertainment on every other night from Monday with a variety of bands or shows taking place outside the restaurants and bars. Nice to sit a relax in the evening. As with anywhere you get beach boys trying to sell everything. You don't get bothered whilst you're at the hotel but once you step out they will come to you. Keep walking or a polite no thanks and they let you move on. Never once felt at risk throughout the whole trip. Beautiful place to visit.

Adjusting to 1 star for the false response from management. There was nothing immediate about the response to the room next to us flooding. There was never an offer to change rooms. The offer for points (that we never received) and comping our laundry came the next day after my bf had to seek out a manager and wait 20 minutes for someone to assist him. The manager did offer us a free night - knowing that we had pre-booked a car to our next adventure. Customer service is not what the hotel cares about- just bad reviews. We wanted to stay at a nice Marriott property to end our stay in Africa. What we got was a flooded room from a problem in adjoining room, constant power outages, and eeh food that was horribly overpriced. We received no apologies or assistance for the room being flooded - not a thing - even after having to call 3 times to get them to come look at it. Overall - a huge waste of money and a blotch on Marriott’s good name. Pick almost any other hotel in this area and you will pay less, get better service, food, and responses from the front desk.

Booked for 7 nights and only stayed 3! We checked in on the 30th May. We left early because it was ruining our holiday. This is not a 4 star hotel. I’m a fair person and will only be factual. Shower smells of egg, also the hot water runs out due to too much demand in off-peak season. God know what it’ll be like in peak! WiFi is weak and stops working. Both problems here mentioned to staff and nothing was rectified. Buffet was shut first night due to building works. They placed us in a sit down meal instead. By the time we ate our starter and main our drinks arrived. 2 hours we had dinner. Long long time waiting. Cups at the swim up bar dirty. Sun bed umbrellas made out of ikea tarpoline. 700% markup on drinks, food and activity’s to outside. Hotel tax in small print and not in the price of the hotel. This hotel is an absolute money pit for tourists. Management was hostile and extremely unprofessional. I asked for a good will for not staying the remainder of the nights booked or I post a honest review. She stared and my partner with venom when messing the bill up 3 times! I’ve traveled the world and also live in London. You pay for what you get and believe me. This hotel is falsely advertised and sure is not a 4 star with a hefty price. I expected so much more for a Marriott hotel. Please don’t be deceived with the reviews! Just to top it off power cuts every 5 mins due to the hotel being on a generator. You get hassled by locals by the beach and security have given up on telling local business to go away! Enjoy your holiday elsewhere! The hotel will reply to this smoke screening there issues with a load of rubbish and politics. Spend your money where it’s worth the money. Please don’t get robbed like we did. Beautiful location and a great place to spak in the beauty and beaches. We did the all-inclusive, and while everything was adequate, it would have been nice to have a couple more dishes where the quality was better than adequate. The same can be said for the wait staff. The rest of the folks were happy, friendly, and accommodating. This included, security, groundskeepers, outside bars, spa, and front desk.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending our honeymoon at this stunning beach resort – and it was simply perfect! The beach area is absolutely breathtaking: soft, white sand, water ind different shades of blue and nice sunbeds to relax in peace. What impressed us the most was the exceptional friendliness of the staff. Every single person was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly special – definitely a highlight of our stay! The food was also very good. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety was nice, everything was fresh, and the flavors were exceptional. We especially loved that they offered plenty of vegetarian options. The pool area with the pool bar was another highlight. We enjoyed sipping cocktails right in the water and soaking up the sun on the comfortable loungers in a relaxed atmosphere. The drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are very tasty! Security guards are 24/7 present and therefore the beach area ist very secure and you can leave you‘re belongings while taking a swim. Cleanliness throughout the entire resort was also good. Both the rooms and all public areas were always well-maintained. For us, this resort was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. Romance, relaxation, and luxury – all perfectly combined. We highly recommend the Beach Resort and are already looking forward to coming back!
