I'm going to give Dreams Natura a 5-star review even though there were a few aspects of our trip that weren't perfect. Those aspects were relatively minor and don't affect the overall good time we had this week. We upgraded to a Preferred Club room, and I think that was a worthwhile upgrade. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was great, the partial ocean view also overlooks the pool area and was great. It also includes a preferred check-in, and exclusive access to the lounge and one of the pools (the preferred pool is adults only, so it wasn't of much use to us, but it was pretty quiet all week). The food was good. We were 100% happy with the restaurants (the preferred club lounge is a nice option especially for breakfast) but the couple times we ordered room service it was not so great. And a few times our orders got mixed up but like I said, this only a minor inconvenience for us. The beach was great. Some other reviews made it seem like the beach was not so great, but we were very happy with it. The pools, lazy river and water slides were also great for us and our kids (we probably did 100 laps of the lazy river). We also enjoyed the extra entertainment (the fire show, pop show, live music, etc) It's also worth noting that this is a smaller resort so it's easy to navigate on foot.

We went to Dreams Natura as a large group for a wedding. I have been to Mexico resorts a handful of times in the past and Dreams would rate overall closer to the top. The top highlights would be the entertainment group, they always had something fun to do whether its water aerobics, standing on a shaking surfboard or wine and tequila tasting, it was super fun. In fact I will say David the sommelier was the highlight of the trip. The wine tasting experience was really 11/10 with great wine, even better food pairings and David was super informative and friendly. I also thought the food was a highlight for me. Like all AI's, there will be some hits and misses, but some of the hits were just incredible. We all enjoyed the Italian as it was fun and everything was fresh and tasty, but the highlight was really the french, the salmon was incredible but so was the ribeye. So good. The downsides got to be the location feels like the middle of nowhere, so unless you have an ocean facing view, don't expect anything nice. The resort can get some funny smells depending on the direction of the wind. And lastly there isn't enough pool chairs/beds for everyone. Early in the morning people will throw towels to reserve them. Lastly, the ocean water was just not inviting at all, it changes colors from brown to dark green, its too bad. Overall I don't know if I would go back to this specific resort but I had a good time with good memories

After staying at 3 different RIU properties in the past year, this place is nothing special. We have found the staff not as friendly or communictive as others. The food is ok. The buffet is very small and doesn't offer as much as other resorts we've been to. The pools are ice cold and I have no problem stepping into cool water. Perfect example there's 1 swim up bar and it's empty. For the amount of money to stay here it's definitely not worth it. Yes it's a family resort but there's kids everywhere and only one pool that's adults only. (Again super cold). Rooms are run down and lacking definite repairs and care. There is never any fresh towels available for guests by the pool. All 5 or 6 run down boxes out by the pool were always empty. All the umbrellas in the main pool area are torn up and broken missing metal pins to hold them up. But if you upgraded to the preferred area...$$$. The umbrellas are immaculate. Also watched a staff member go into a room and walk out stacks of fresh towels to the preferred area but non to the other guests. "DREAMS" it is not!

The hotel staff amazing # 1 what a gem is Magdalena from the lobby bar- she loves her job and daily ensures everyone is having a great time. She will ensure that you're dancing or having your favourite drinks, (names to mention Gabriel Ocono and Miriam from the Restaurante World Cafe- over the moon with service) and went beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The variety of food venues -spectacular, the food was delicious and the servers were truly on-point. The only negative comments - that the room needs more detailed cleaning and there is a moist/moldy scent in some of the guest rooms. Please have the bathroom detailed i.e. soap dish corners of the shower, around the toilet.. I will like to visit again, long as my room don't have that mildew scent as it a happy place to be!

Stayed here a couple weeks ago with a large group of people. My wife and I didn’t have the greatest stay and then had a major issue at the end of the trip. I am giving 5* for a few reasons. First they made my loved ones wedding an amazing day. Second, nobody else in our group had issues. The problems were the kind of things that could have happened anywhere. Finally, I mentioned the issues I had at checkout and they forwarded my concerns to the GM. The GM reached out personally and gave me some Hyatt points to make up for the issues I had. I was very impressed. I have my own business and have the attitude that if you do business with someone for long enough you will eventually have a negative experience. That is when you truly see who you are dealing with. If they make things right, the fact that I had an issue will probably make me an even more loyal customer. That is the case here. I can’t wait to stay at a Hyatt All Inclusive property again. Thanks for the fantastic service.
