We had such a wonderful time at the bar right outside the lobby at Dreams Jade Resort & Spa in Puerto Morelos, thanks to Pinto and Rafael! They were both absolutely amazing — always welcoming with big smiles, quick service, and fun conversation that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and upbeat energy kept the atmosphere lively all day and night. Whether it was remembering our favorite drinks or checking in to make sure everything was perfect, Pinto and Rafael went above and beyond. Sergio is new to this property and he offered excellent customer service with any questions we had. Attention to details, joking and having fun and just making us feel at home. All the staff at this resort were accommodating and over the top with efforts to meet the need or just be courteous at all times to make you feel appreciated. They truly made our time there unforgettable — two of the best bartenders we’ve ever met! If you’re visiting Dreams Jade, be sure to stop by the Lobby Bar and ask for Pinto and Rafael — they’ll make your stay enjoyable!

Quieter, slower pace location but still kid friendly. Beach was beautiful with little to no Sargasso and sand was powder. Diverse restaurant selection. Although Spice was closed for renovations you can still order it's menu ala cart @ Castaways. Staff as always was excellent. Javier (who works Preferred Breakfast and Castaways for lunch) was exceptional in his attentiveness and attention to detail. He went out of how way for my family and I. We enjoyed the layout including a large roofed square with seating and a bar. Check out the mixologist at the lobby bar evenings!

Arriving: horrible, long, bumpy road that needs repaving. Entrance: very underwhelming. Greeting: awful. Told to "find third building and go upstairs " We were lost (after the fact, realized they have a paper map that could have been provided) Room: Amazing space, bathroom luxurious!! Went to the balcony, opened door.. Immediate STENCH, sewer! Room looks onto the trees with a "toxic smelling " river below AND garbage! Garbage every where we looked We did 10 days, 9 nights and only had room cleaning for 4.. mini bar was Never stocked (and it was only water, beer pop.. we had to order room service to get water!!) Also No other options so if you do not drink pop or beer you're SOL Food: restaurants were lovely. All the food was delicious (expect the Japanese restaurant.. great show but the food was awful) BUT the staff that run these places were horrible. Mean, disrespectful, scowls.. going to the break buffet we were actually escorted to a waiting room because we were only 2 people (we passed 30 empty tables) Pools were amazing, actually the highlight of the trip And the entertainment staff AMAZING (should be paid more!!) Beach, well, seaweed but it's that time of year Nightly entertainment was great but after 7 days it goes on repeat so a 10 day trip becomes boring This was supposed to be "all inclusive " but the pools are open until 7pm, bars close at 5pm. Nothing you can get via room service, restaurants not open. Only option is to walk all the way to the lobby to get anything to drink.. and the servings are small (if you drink wine Please order 2! And put it in one glass) Also PLEASE,PLEASE do NOT go to the "90min" presentation that is NOT a time share but a "membership "!! They will keep you for over 4hrs AND ask for 5,000$ to sign up (and promise a lot of free things that are not actually free!) Be careful!! Especially if you are a woman and maybe traveling with a friend. We were absolutely bullied and asking to go back to our resort for over an hour! Big men, multiple Men . I hope this resort gets themselves together because we will never be back, infact, I will personally avoid Hyatt resorts because of this experience

Oh where to begin. Reserved an ocean view room, paid extra for it, was told they had no ocean view rooms available. Did not offer a refund. 2 of the restaurants were closed during our stay the hotel did not notify us of this before arrival. We choose to upgrade to prefer. That was a scam, the preferred breakfast restaurant is a joke. Extremely slow, I’m talking 45 mins waiting for coffee and juice. There is also only 1 bar open later in the evening and the 2 bar tenders seemed to only serve those who spoke Spanish. Apparently this is low season and a lot of locals come to vacation here. Waited 30+ mins at the bar only to call it a night and give up. Extremely disappointed in the food and service. The only good waiter we had was Edwin. He made breakfast enjoyable at the Buffett. If you like food and 5 star service I would not recommend this hotel. Currently writing this review as I wait 45 mins for my mediocre food to be served.

My family and I stayed at this hotel from August 21–26. The room was very clean upon arrival and had two balconies with beautiful views of the beach and pool area. However, the air conditioning did not function properly during our stay—the temperature never dropped below 80 degrees, even with the unit running constantly, which made the nights uncomfortable. The dining options were excellent. The buffet offered a large daily selection, and every meal we had at the specialty restaurants was delicious and well presented. The pool area was nice, but finding a chair after 10 a.m. was nearly impossible due to guests reserving loungers with towels, many of which remained unused throughout the day. Food and drinks by the pool were average. Unfortunately, the beach was unusable during our stay due to heavy sargassum both on the sand and in the water. On the positive side, the nightly entertainment and shows were enjoyable, and the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property itself is beautiful, though mosquito control could be improved. Overall: Great food, excellent staff, and beautiful grounds, but the AC issue, unusable beach, and pool chair situation kept it from being a perfect experience.
