This place is absolutely perfect. We loved our stay. And a special mention must be made to AU, who is the best host and hotel staff we have ever come across. He looked after us extremely well throughout our stay, and it’s the service we received from him, and other staff that have made us decide to book again for our end of year holiday this year. To sum it up, this is absolutely the most perfect stay.

We recently stayed at the Novotel Phuket Kata Avista, and overall, we had a really nice time. The location is great – it's close to Kata Beach and not far from Karon Beach either. Plus, there's a food market nearby which was super convenient. -Check-in and Room Experience Check-in was a breeze. The staff were informative and friendly, which set a good tone right from the start. Our room was spacious and had a partly ocean view, which was a lovely surprise. It was cleaned every day by a wonderful lady (I wish I remembered her name!). She was so kind and always managed to tidy up while we were out, so we were never disturbed. -Breakfast Breakfast was alright, but I expected a bit more from a five-star hotel. Considering we were in Thailand, I thought there would be more exotic fruits – there were only three choices. The dessert station was pretty boring too. But, on the bright side, the chefs at the omelet station were fantastic – really accommodating and made great omelets. The service was quick, and there was always someone at the door to greet us, which was a nice touch. -Hotel Services One thing to be aware of is the hill you have to climb to get to the hotel. We asked about the shuttle van timings, but the driver (a bit bold) or the concierge guy seemed to gently nudge us to walk instead, saying it wasn't far. We had walked it before, but climbing that hill multiple times a day was tiring. It would be great (as a suggestion maybe) if some small stairs could be added along the walkway to make it easier. then it will be more appropriate to push guests to walk... Despite the hill and the breakfast not being what i was expecting, the hotel itself is good. It's close to the beaches and the food market, which we really appreciated. I'd recommend the Novotel Phuket Kata Avista – just be ready for a bit of a workout! Overall, if you don't mind a bit of a climb and are looking for a hotel with good service and a convenient location, this is a solid choice.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is just awesome and friendly. Breakfasts are amazing. Aey is a great person by the reception always willing to help with a big smile. He has been super attentive during the check in process and while we were waiting for our taxi after the checkout. The hotel is nicely located and close to several beaches. There is a shuttle that departs every 30 mins to/from the beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional service. The staff go above and beyond here. Extremely nice rooms, delicious food and very accomodating for the family. We came from Australia and spent 7 nights here with a two and four year old, and it was absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend the half board package for the convenience of eating good clean food each night.

For Winnie. Very hospital personnel. We arrived with two kids and they changed our deluxe room with pool view to family suite free of charge. A good variety of food at breakfast. Delicious. 2 swimming pools. Very clean and suitable for small children. I lost my Ipad at lobby and they helped me to find. Thank you Novotel team)
