Had a fantastic stay at the Novotel hotel to celebrate me and my boyfriend's Anniversary during our stay in Phuket. The rooms were big and spacious, and conveniently located by the Kata Beach, food and Kata Night Market which we visited multiple times throughout our stay. We stayed here in early November, and unfortunately it was still raining season so we couldn't do much activities outside, but the hotel had quite a few activities in-house for you to sign up for like cooking classes, spa massage for couples or yourself, yoga, boxing class, or water sport activities. They also had a frequent shuttle bus that takes you to the beach and back. I would recommend taking the bus or take a cab through grab or bolt for easier commute as the hotel is on top of a hill, so it was quite a workout going up and down. Breakfast buffet had many options and they really gave us lots of coupons to use during our stay to utilize the amenities there. We decided to do the cooking class as it was pouring rain out, so it really helped pass the afternoon time and had the pleasure of doing the cooking class with Naveen Bhardwaj, who was super funny and helpful. Me and my boyfriend each got to choose 2 dishes each to make and Naveen had led us through the entire class and we got to enjoy the amazing food at the end. They really pay attention to detail and start you off with the decoration part of prepping food, which made our food look presentable after we plated the food. We chose to make Pad Thai Goong, Somtam - Papaya Salad, Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai - Green curry chicken which paired really well with the Khao Pad Gai (Fried Rice With Chicken). He mentioned that he would work on another menu for the cooking class since I mentioned my fav Thai dish wasn't on there which was Pad See Ew/Pad Kew Mao with a side of Thai Iced Tea! Don't miss your chance to book with him during your stay because he really put in the time and effort with us to make the thai culture food!

We are a family of 6 currently staying here. I just wanted to say how happy we are with the hotel! There was an issue with the room, which was resolved very quickly. The staff are amazing! So friendly; welcoming and helpful. Buffet breakfast is great with great options which suited us all. We really are very happy with the hotel. Only issue I have is with the steep walk up the hill, but there are transport options. Thank you all very much for making our stay so lovely so far and for making our kids holiday so fun. Highly recommend this hotel to others.

We recently stayed at the Novotel for our honeymoon and had an absolute fantastic time. The location was fantastic, the room was suitable and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The pool and swim up bar were a personal favourite. The food including the included buffet breakfast was wonderful. Booking tours and experiences was also very easy with the help of the staff. We took party in the cooking class whilst there, with chef Naveen who was absolutely fantastic, friendly and informative. We would highly recommended the Novotel!

Location is uphill so there is a bit of a hime going into and out of the hotel. Rooms are visibly old but well maintained and clean. The only I didn’t like was that my room was across the elevator so I could hear all the noises from people passing by and waiting in front of the elevator. I thought it was soundproof as that is one of the features advertised in booking apps so I was really disappointed about this. There are other facilities like the pool, gym and spa room. Lots of choices at breakfast buffet also. One of the things that stood out to me the most is the excellent service of the staffs. Everyone is so nice and is always smiling. Upon arrival to the hotel, I was already greeted at the lobby and was assisted with my luggage. Kudos to the staffs at the reception desk as they are the first ones dealing with all the questions of the guests. Special thanks to Aey for helping me with my airport transfer. Although we couldn’t understand each other at first due to language barrier , he tried his best to communicate with me so he can help me with my issue. He even gave me a little souvenir.

We recently stayed at the Novotel Kata Avista Resort for a holiday and had such an incredible experience. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff are incredibly caring - each day they check in and ensured we had enough bathroom amenities and water. Our package included the buffet breakfast every morning which was such a great way to start the day. It had a wide variety of foods from all different cultures, my personal favourites being the wide variety of different sweet and savoury breads as well as the delicious fresh fruit. It has to be the best buffet I have ever been to as the selection is so wide to choose from - including a juice bar. If you enjoy cooking, an additional experience we decided to book was a private cooking class with one of the head chefs at the hotel Naveen who was absolutely incredible. He was very patient when teaching us how to cut foods in various methods and it was nice talking to him about how he has been cooking since the age of 8 - you could tell how passionate he was. The only thing I must mention, despite the hotel being in a beautiful location very close to kata beach and local shops and markets it is situated up a very steep hill which is very slippery when wet which makes it hard for those with mobility issues. In saying this, there were always taxis and tuk tuks close by or waiting at reception that could take you down the hill but they all charged 200THB for the 30 second trip. There is also a free shuttle bus provided from the hotel that takes you to Kata beach that leaves every 30 minutes. Thank you to each and every staff member at the resort, you made our trip so memorable! We miss you already ❤️🌴🌺
