We had a truly wonderful stay at Novotel Kuala Lumpur. I mentioned in advance that it was my daughter’s birthday, and the hotel prepared a lovely slice of cheesecake as a surprise. She was so happy and touched. During check-in, the staff also wished her a happy birthday, which made the moment even more special and memorable for our family. Parking was very reasonable at only RM5 per day, which was another great plus. Most importantly, the lounge staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Their warm and friendly service made our stay feel like a perfect 10 out of 10. Thanks to them, we had a truly enjoyable experience. We would definitely love to return on our next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

The location of the hotel is simply incredible: everything is nearby (market, shopping malls, great restaurants). You can do part of your activities on foot without needing a taxi or public transport. The neighborhood is lively and feels very safe. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the cleanliness could be improved. The carpet on the floor retains a lot of odors, and the breakfast room is far too small compared to the hotel’s capacity, making it difficult to find a seat after 9 a.m. Lastly, an open space in the lobby to relax would have been appreciated.

We stayed at Novotel KLCC twice during this trip — first for 2 nights, then returned for a further 8 nights after travelling to the Cameron Highlands, Ipoh and Taiping. Overall, we had a very good stay, though there was some initial disappointment with the room allocation. We have booked the Deluxe King Room here for the past two years and it has always included a sofa. This time, both room 1011 and the initially allocated room 2116 did not have one, despite being the same room category. This was a little puzzling, especially for a longer stay. After raising this with the team, the duty manager was very understanding and kindly moved us to room 2118, which made our stay much more comfortable. We often use the swimming pool in the afternoon and really value having a sofa to relax on afterwards. Aside from this, everything else was excellent. Housekeeping was consistent, with the room cleaned daily and fresh towels provided every day without request. Breakfast was very good, offering Asian, continental and Western options, and the new layout works better than before. The swimming pool is clean and refreshing, towels are always available, and while sun loungers are limited, it’s rarely crowded. The location is superb right by Bukit Bintang and within walking distance to KLCC, with easy access to public transport (the rail system is especially convenient). Security is reassuring with controlled floor access and a safe in the room. I also noticed the General Manager again during this visit — she is attentive, visible, and clearly committed to guest experience. Despite the room inconsistency at first, we were very happy overall and would happily recommend Novotel KLCC.

I was quite disappointed with my stay, especially considering this is rated as a four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. The staff were not very helpful, which made the experience less pleasant. The cleanliness of the room was also below standard. There were stains on the bedsheets and hair on the carpet, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this category. The buffet breakfast was average. While the selection was decent, I did notice a fly around the pastry area, which was concerning and affected the overall dining experience. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its excellent location, which is very convenient. However, overall, the stay did not reflect the quality expected from a four-star property.

Check in took long time and at the end i had no any information about breakfast times, pool and fitness locations , key card to using elevators. Concierge wasn’t available sometimes, my was told they had to bring luggage to the rooms. First impression wasn’t pleasant Second day, bay chance i meet Angelia, GM from the hotel. She gave me all the information needed, and took a lot of time to gave advises about the city. Big thx to her Room in the 20 th floor was big, clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious, big choice of international and asian dishes. All staff was very friendly what i consider as a big plus Pool at the second floor was to small for a good swim Location was very close to Bukit Bintang, Monorail station, as well to the Petronas twin towers. Pavilion a great shopping mall can be reached after a 5 minutes walk In general i was satisfied with my stay in the hotel.
