I really enjoyed my stay at Novotel Bali Benoa. The beach view is stunning, the room was comfortable, and the vibe of the hotel is super relaxing. The reservation process was easy and well-handled, so everything felt well-prepared even before I arrived. Big shoutout to the receptionist who made the first impression amazing! They were cheerful, welcoming, and very helpful, making the check-in fast and hassle-free. Their friendly attitude instantly made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is well kept, clean and right by the beach, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The room we stayed were comfortable and clean as well. We especially want to mention the front office team who were friendly, helpful and made our checkin and checkout smooth and easy. Everytime we had question or needed help, they were quick to assist and always welcoming. Its not our first stay in Bali but their hospitality made a big difference to our stay this time. Will definitely coming back!

Unfortunately, our stay at Novotel Benoa started on a very disappointing note due to the check-in experience. Despite arriving at the check in time, the room was not ready, even though they said it’s only 50% occupancy rate. When we got into our room, we can smell the strong odour of mould. Further inspection, the room was very dusty. It looked like, it hasn’t been opened or cleaned for a while. After waiting for an hour and half they managed to upgraded our room. The staff were really apologetic. The staff at the restaurant near the beach, probably need another training as we had very scrambled service. And they spent most of the time chatting to each other instead of paying attention to the guests. The food were ok, not wowed but with 5 stars price We have been customers of Accor for many many years and stayed in many different Accor accommodations, but never been disappointed like this before. Lucky, we only stayed for one night. It’s definitely not 5 stars resort as claimed

I returned to the Novotel Benoa for the first time in 24 years, having last stayed at the resort with my parents as a child. It was very nostalgic seeing the lion statue on Garden side, the crossing guard waving his light up baton at night as you crossed the road, and a traditional performance on the stage at dinner. The staff were just as friendly and accommodating as I remembered, and were encouraging of my limited Indonesian. The room we had was great, the food we had was amazing. The facilities look great after the upgrade, although, I personally missed the old pools - one was so deep we had boat races in it! They new pools however are great for relaxing and paddling around in. We used the Novotel Benoa as our home base while exploring Bali over 11 days, whether it be spending a relaxing day by the resort pool or returning from a Wayang Kulit show in Ubud - a big thank you to our driver Subawa for organising our day trips. If you stay at the Novotel, I recommend using Subawa as a safe and reliable driver who lives locally - you can ask at the front desk for his details. Thank you to the Novotel staff for organising a great driver for us. The gamelan lesson and village bicycling tour offered by the Novotel staff was also really fun, and we enjoyed a number of activities on offer like the massage lesson and the water aerobics as well. I will definitely visit again. Hopefully a lot sooner next time :)

This is our second time staying at this hotel and we highly recommend it. It has been 3 years since our last stay (which was great) and it is obvious the hotel has invested in more training for its staff. Food and service was almost always high quality and our room (2 bedroom beachfront) was amazing. The team were so friendly and helpful and did everything to make our stay friendly and comfortable. The one time we had a minor problem in the room from the weather it was sorted immediately without any fuss. This is a great family resort, but also would suit a couple looking to just relax. We also purchased the in room spa treatment and the massages were absolutely top quality. Also plenty of nearby activities, shops and local Warungs to explore. We will be back.
