Dear Giovanna, Anna, Matteo! We were on Nika Island from 14 to 19 December 2023 (two adults and three children) and we were very satisfied! We were here for the second time after 2021 and hope to return soon. This was our best accommodation in the Maldives so far. Very nice, helpful, professional staff, beautiful villas, great restaurant and very good beach. The kids loved the parrots and we loved the evening activities. Compared to the other islands, the corals were the most beautiful here, we also saw sharks and turtles in the water. The vegetation on the island is amazing! Thank you very much for everything! I really really enjoyed my stay at Nika! Unlike the most resort in Maldives, Nika offers you a villa with a private beach. The staff is very kind and caring! Would love to be there again next year.

Excellent destination for romantic and family holidays. Friendly and attentive staff welcome you in almost any language ( Russian, german, Italian etc) Views are stunning. House-reef with plenty of fish and corals Rooms with taste

This Island resort is absolutely amazing! We loved every moment we spend there. We stayed in a normal beach villa with private beach and it was beautiful and very spacious. The kids slept in the living room on 2 beds and still we had the feeling we had a whole house to stay in. (Living room only has a fan though) We had the airco on in the bedroom and with the door open this also made the living room a bit cooler. The bathroom was the biggest I have ever had in my life and looking nice too. The private beach was very nice. We had everything we needed there. A swing, 2 beds, a hammock, 2 bed you can put in the water, a jacuzzi and a shower. We also used the 2 beaches that every one can use and also there everything was great. The beach near the restaurant has the mornng sun and mostly no wind and the other beach at reception (where they have afternoon snacks) has late afternoon sun and was mostly a bit more windy during our stay. (end of april - beginning of May) The food we liked was great. Don't think it will be same buffet as a very big resort where they waste food like it doesn't matter. Here they had everything we needed and more but a bit more limited maybe. Same for the lunch, which is also buffet. Diner has some a la carte evenings and some buffet evenings. We really enjoyed the high quality food every day. All people working on the island are very friendly and we loved the fact that it's a small island so it's more personal than on a big resort. The house reef is very good. They have a lot of corol which is still alive and they work on keeping it alive. We saw basically everything you can possibly see on a snorkel trip. From different sharks, rays, turtles, octopus, Napoleon fish and many, many more.... The management on the island are really working on sustainability. They recycle almost every bit of their food waste. They grow their own gardens for fruits and vegetables. Make their own jam, so they don't need plastic jam cups. They make their own water (in glass bottles). They have musquito traps and they are working. We stayed a full week and didn't see 1 musquito No one got bitten. And that's really nice in thr tropics. I advice to do the museum tour and at the end of the tour they will guide you through the middle of the island where the people sleep/live that work on the island. There they will show you how they work on sustainability. Bit with some big investments they really try to do their best on taking care of nature. When you really want to relax yourself this is the island resort you should choose. It's so quiet and peaceful. It almost feels like you have the whole island to yourself. And we felt totally relaxed when we got on our sea plane back to Male.

Stayed in Nika for a few days back in Nov 2018. We were island hopping and rented a private boat for a 15 min trip to Nika. The only downside was we didn't inform the front desk that we were coming so they weren't prepared for us. That apart, the private beach villa, the food, the fact that we have baby sharks and other sea creatures visit our private beach, the staff, the reef in which we snorkeled away like no tomorrow, the night partly, the alcohol, the feel, the huge room with an even higher bath area, the lil hangout spots and corners, the cool bird we spotted and on and on..Didn't want to leave and wished I had booked more days. This is one hell of a vacay place and I wouldn't think twice to pack a bag and head off again. Go to Nika. You'll love it.
