Disappointing Stay - Issues with Pools, Amenities & Service
We recently stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya and unfortunately encountered several issues that detracted from our experience.
* Pool Temperatures: The most significant problem was the consistently cold water in all pools, including the penthouse pool. This made it impossible for our kid to enjoy swimming comfortably.
* Room Condition: Our room had an unpleasant odor, likely from a sewer issue.
* Amenities: The minibar was not restocked daily as promised, we lack of water noticing I. The middle of the night. Additionally, the quality of the hotel-provided shampoo and conditioner was very poor.
* Dining Experience: We experienced an extremely long wait (over 50 minutes) for two simple hamburgers at Aqua Nick.
* Comfort: The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, impacting our sleep quality.
While we enjoyed some aspects of the resort, the aforementioned issues significantly impacted our overall satisfaction. We believe the price of the stay did not justify the quality of the experience.

We spent 4 night/5 days at the resort. The rooms were nice enough, the infinity pool on the upper floors was disappointing. While housekeeping did a wonderful job our mini bar was restocked only on the first day and we had to call and get water delivered. The food was just ok and the water park was enjoyable for the grandkids. There is not much in the area other than the resort. The cost of EVERYTHING being sold is outrageous! I cannot recommend nor will I return to this resort.

My sister recently went here and encountered a huge problem with this hotel. As a person that she has been to the one in Dominican Republic this one is Mexico was completely different. They were very rude and tried to charge her $200 for a cleaning fee after she just paid $4,000 for a stay of 4 days for 2 people and one of them was a child. They admittedly said they don’t clean sheets or clean the rooms. They tried to close the gate on my sister and my nephew after she said she was not going to pay a $200 miscellaneous fee.
The food was horrible at a steak house there is no steak??? There is only 4 restaurants 2 of them being buffets and the other 2 reservations only. My nephew is allergic to certain things and whatever they put in the food gave him an allergic reaction. The staff is unprofessional and were not nice to people that was not their own.
DONT GO HERE YOU WOULD BE WASTING YOUR MONEY.

We had a great time at the resort, especially with the kids! The entertainment and shows were fantastic, keeping the whole family entertained. Our children loved the slime and meeting all the characters at breakfast. However, the service could use some improvement, as it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, a 4-star experience for family fun!
