We are NH fans having lived in Spain, and from the time we were transferred to their representative at Male Airport, we were in good hands. I was hesitant about traveling to the Southern Atolls, but the discount on transfers and the allure of a less crowded resort helped seal the deal. We had an Over Water Villa (they had 60 OW and 60 Beach) and I appreciated that we were not too far from the mainland. Not too keen on having to call for a buggy, and when it was raining cats and dogs it was helpful to be able to rush back to our room quickly. The villa was lovely and very comfortable, with a half outdoor bathroom giving us options between indoor outdoor showers as well as a bathtub. The green tea bath products were standard (had the same at NH Colombo the week before) and nice, though I still prefer Occitane or Nuxe. Surprisingly there were no bugs in the bathroom, though when it rained almost everything would be wet. The bed was so comfortable and I really appreciated the Nespresso machine as we spent almost all our time in the room. The water was beautiful and clear, we loved admiring it from the bed. The tides were either high or low, the reef was nearby, but you could see the strong currents so we tried to be careful and only swim during low tide - not ideal for visiting the corals. You could see sharks and other fish swimming past and just under the stairs of the villa there were house fishes because of the algae and plant life. We borrowed snorkeling gear from the friendly Filipina at dive centre, but had to cancel the only scheduled guided snorkeling tour because it rained just before. We also didn’t kayak as it was either too sunny or it was raining. They clean the room twice a day, but we only asked for housekeeping in the evening during dinner. Were supposed to get a bottle of wine as welcome gift, but it was Prosecco instead so we didn’t drink it. We took half board as we figured we had nowhere to go to and should not consume more calories than we could spend. The staff in this resort were so friendly and nice. We were welcomed by Dewi from Bali at our first dinner and both she and her colleagues made a point to remember our preferences for simple things like coffee and water. The buffet was to our liking as we love Indian cuisine and there was always Indian food in the buffet and of a good standard too. Appreciated the daily dal, the basmati rice, fresh naan, thosai, only missing paratha. However there could be more vegetables like okra or cauliflower. I don’t eat tuna so I was a bit suspicious of the fish they served in the buffet, you almost never get to see a whole fish. Italian section not attractive to us who live in Italy. For the large number of Chinese tourists present I was surprised that there were only beef dumplings every evening. We stayed 2 nights at Kurumba after the NH and I have to say that they had a more varied buffet though their Indian food offering was not as good. We had a destination dinner on the beach which was amazing. Only sad thing was it started drizzling which stressed out our sweet waiter who put in so much effort to decorate for our meal. The Wagyu carpaccio, meat and seafood platters were generous and delicious. I wished we had gone to the pool more often as it was beautiful. So nice we decided to order lunch to extend our time there. There was no pressure to consume and staff would bring us cold water if we asked for it. The lunch menu was quite nice and the food tasty, enjoyed the Maldivian beef tacos. Grateful it was low season and there were not too many screaming kids around. As for the spa, official prices were ridiculously high - and then you arrived to 40% discounts but had not planned to have any and forgot about it. A pity as we visited the spa almost every day when we were in Colombo. We had an amazing stay at NH Havodda. Just a little hiccup at departure as our luggage was not picked up on time and we started panicking. Other than that this was a well-managed and maintained resort, totally recommend.

A Tropical Paradise The island itself is stunning—pristine white sand beaches, lush tropical greenery, and crystal-clear waters that instantly make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. The overwater and beachfront villas are beautifully designed, offering comfort, privacy, and incredible views of the Indian Ocean. Unforgettable Snorkeling & Diving One of the highlights of our stay was the vibrant coral reef that surrounds the island. Snorkeling right from the shore, we encountered an abundance of marine life—colorful fish, graceful rays, and even sea turtles. For diving enthusiasts, the nearby dive sites are world-class, with stunning coral formations and incredible biodiversity. Delicious Dining & Exceptional Service The food at NH Collection Maldives Havodda was outstanding! With a variety of restaurants offering fresh seafood, international cuisine, and Maldivian specialties, every meal was a delight. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring every experience was special. Relaxation & Activities Whether lounging by the infinity pool, indulging in a soothing spa treatment, or trying out water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding, there was always something to enjoy. The resort perfectly balances adventure and relaxation, making it an ideal destination for couples, families, and honeymooners alike. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a slice of paradise in the Maldives, NH Collection Maldives Havodda is the perfect choice. With its incredible coral reef, luxurious accommodations, and impeccable service, our stay was truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

NH Collection Havodda Maldives was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. Our water villa was always clean and fresh every time we returned, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food at the hotel was incredible—while we had the all-inclusive option, we also tried the à la carte dining on the beach, which was a fantastic experience with live music. The staff was exceptionally attentive, and Mr. Munjid went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Pay attention please. The island is far away from Male and the resort - do not care about your INHUMAN waiting time for transfer( i waited 6 hours in Male and i almost was about to wait 11 hours after 15 hours to Male). They also do not let you know about the schedule of the transfer until a day before. (maybe you change something) - Do not choose sunrise villas - your stay will be ruined because a DIESEL GENERATOR - diesel smell and 24 hours engine sound. - do pay attention at the restaurant - it has a lot of CHLORINE taste. - they do not offer the same benefits if you book your stay with a third party(they offer soft drinks for full board only if you book on their site) shame. - do not book a snorkel garden trip - it is a 5 minutes boat ride to snorkel a similar coral like resort island has and it cost 105$ per person.. - kitchen teflon PANS look like 7 years old with millions of omelettes - shame for a 5 stars resort. It was supposed to relax, but it was kind ruined.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending our vacation at the NH Collection Havodda in the breathtaking Maldives, and it was truly unforgettable. The island itself is a gem, boasting a stunning house reef teeming with marine life, including reef sharks, stingrays, and turtles, making snorkeling an exhilarating experience. The villas were modern, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We had the opportunity to stay in both an overwater villa and a beach villa. The overwater villa was a dream come true, offering breathtaking views of the sea and direct access to it. However, a sun cover or awning would be a great addition to make the terrace more usable during the day. The beach villa, on the other hand, provided private beach access with an umbrella, though we encountered more mosquitoes there. The food was exceptional, with a great variety and freshness. The half-board option was perfect for us, with highlights like freshly pressed juices and pancakes at breakfast, and themed dinner buffets that never failed to impress. Water, tea and coffee is free in the restaurants and your villa - other drinks are rather pricey (which however, is rather a standard for Maldives resorts; think USD 8 for a coke). The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The resort offers a range of activities, including complimentary snorkeling equipment, kayaks, and additional free activities like guided snorkeling trips and marine biology sessions. We also enjoyed a fun fishing trip and rejuvenating spa treatments. The transfer from Malé was seamless. All is organized for you, including lounge access, a 1.5h flight to Kaadedhdhoo and a 10min speedboat ride to Havodda (all included). Tips for Future Visitors: Accommodation: Overwater villas are ideal for couples, while beach villas are better suited for families. Essentials: Don't forget to pack sunscreen with high SPF and use it liberally! Overall, NH Collection Havodda exceeded our expectations in every way, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway in paradise.
