Tuck into mouth-wateringly fresh seafood in this laid-back, modern restaurant. With stunning views on either side of the river and the ocean, it’s a perfect setting for a romantic meal for two. Flavours are a zesty mix of Sri Lankan specialities, and the restaurant is open for dinner only.

Suan Bua

Featuring an irresistible menu of Thai home cooking with a Sri Lankan twist, Suan Bua offers dining in a wonderfully relaxing environment. Try a refreshing spicy green mango salad, or a warming rich smooth curry. There’s a tasty list of vegetarian options available. Suan Bua is open for dinner only.

A wonderful stay at a truly memorable hotel! This hotel is in a beautiful location—set on a tiny island, which adds a unique charm. You’ll need a small boat to reach it, and that itself felt like part of the experience. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Our child really enjoyed the stay! The long swimming pool was great, and the beach—as always in Bentota—was stunning. The highlight for us was definitely the food. Despite low occupancy during our stay, the hotel provided buffet meals twice and a lovely set menu for lunch. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service stood out—staff were extremely friendly, always smiling and ready to help. It’s a very kid-friendly resort, with plenty of organized activities, a kids' play area, and options for boating with all the necessary facilities. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Great food, warm hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere made it a stay to remember. Highly recommended for families!

Really great property. Very child friendly. The 2 hour boat safari offered by the hotel is ideal for children, it's a must since one gets to see wild animals. Staff is excellent. Must point out Ms. Amasha, who represents Sri Lanka wonderfully with her beautiful smile and warm behaviour towards guests.

Amazing Property with river on one side and Ocean on the other. The Staff most helpful. Rooms spacious. Breakfast Buffet is vast and the Ala carte menu extensive especially the Sri Lanka cuisine. The front office Hansini and Lithara went out of their way to help make our stay fabulous. Great Property worth a visit.
