Review of Our Recent Stay I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience overall. The environment is beautifully maintained, providing a serene backdrop that made our stay even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from the Ocean Panorama Deluxe to the Ocean Panorama Premier room, which was a delightful treat. The room itself was very comfortable and offered stunning views, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. While the breakfast options could use some improvement, I can't complain too much considering the value for what we paid. There was enough variety to satisfy our morning cravings, and the quality was decent. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night. It was truly a haven for relaxation, allowing us to unwind completely. I also want to mention that although renovations are still ongoing, they did not disrupt our stay, and I am excited to see how the hotel will look once everything is completed. I would definitely consider returning once the renovations are finished. A special thanks to Lorianna at the reception for making our check-in process smooth and welcoming. She handled a busy check-in time with grace and efficiency, which made a positive impression on us. In summary, our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. We look forward to returning in the future!

Had a lovely 3D2N stay at Nexus Resort & Spa — a perfect spot for a short vacation and a peaceful getaway from the city. The resort is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We booked 2 rooms, including a connecting room. One room was ready upon check-in, but we had to wait about an hour for the other, which was a bit of a delay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, though we did face a few small issues — one TV remote wasn’t working properly, a water tap was leaking in the other room, and one of the beds was missing a stand, making it slightly unstable. We had our dinner at the Chinese restaurant in the resort — it was not bad, and the breakfast was okay as well. Nothing too fancy, but decent enough to start the day. Despite a few hiccups, we truly enjoyed our stay! My child especially loved the swimming pool, and we had fun feeding the monitor lizards (yes, they’re huge!). The staff was friendly and accommodating. We even got to know the lizards’ names — Brandon and Auther — which made it a memorable experience! Still a great place for a peaceful family retreat with plenty of nature and little surprises.

Our December wedding at Nexus Karambunai proved that even a rainy day can be utterly beautiful with the right team! We are so grateful to Vanessa, our wedding planner, who handled every detail from start to finish, making the planning effortless. Nissa and her decoration team perfectly captured our desired aesthetic, creating a breathtaking ambiance. The food was delicious and widely praised by our guests, and the emcee was brilliant at engaging everyone. Nexus Karambunai ensured our wedding day was perfect in every way, rain or shine! A massive thank you to all our family and friends for joining us and making our day so memorable!!

I recently stayed at Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai with my family, and overall, it was a nice and peaceful getaway. The highlight of the resort is definitely the view—absolutely beautiful. The beach was lovely, especially in the morning; it was a great place for a walk and some quiet time. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though it was a bit too cold and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The TV and phone weren’t working either, but since I came to spend quality time with family, it didn’t really bother me. The food was generally okay. We received breakfast vouchers, but no one collected them and the area was very crowded. We ended up standing for a while until a staff member asked us to sit outside as there were no more seats inside. It was fine, but maybe a little more organisation could help during peak hours. Check-in was average—I had to wait quite a while since there were only two staff handling a long queue. However, one of the staff members, Lorraine, was especially kind and helpful. Despite being busy, she took the time to explain the hotel facilities like the spa and dining outlets, and she even apologised for the wait. Her warm attitude really made a difference. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort has great potential, and with a few improvements like better staffing during busy times, it could be even better. I’d still recommend it for those looking for a relaxing spot to bond with loved ones.

We have not been to Nexus in a long time. We have heard many not so good things about the resort. However, with their promotion we have decided to take a chance and took a one night stay at Nexus. The front desk was very kind to give us early check in. All the support staff that day was very courteous and making our day to begin well. When we reached our room, the ac was already on making us felt so comfortable and cooling. Most resorts you need to wait a few minutes to turn on the ac and then to cool down. The room was renovated. To me it was ok. The beds were comfortable. The sheets and pillows smell nice. The AC was freezing and just perfect. The shower was hot enough. There were many daily activities at the resort. You just need to plan things out after you checked in. The pool was great. The breakfast was fantastic. The choices are bountiful. The food is great. At least they got some good chefs cooking inside the kitchen. You do need to go early as the refills are rather slow if you go later. Overall, Nexus is just less than 30 minutes drive from town. It is a good getaway from the town area to relax. The resort has really improved a lot since my last visit. I hope that more people will come and stay at the resort.
