Rude front desks staff. Very unhelpful and lacking in experience with the hospitality business. They will not let us check in until the exact time or its $75 fee. Like you can’t even give your card and have them text you when the room is ready. The lady says “different hotels have different policies”. No, crappy hotels have crappy policies. I have never had this issue anywhere else. Then she tells my husband to lock our luggage in this room. After we are about to walk out, she says “excuse me” and just points across the lobby at the luggage room and says “you can’t leave the cart there”. You work at the hotel!! How about saying, let me help you put this cart back outside!! This will be our last stay here. The handicap doors are broken on both sides so forget about getting a stroller in without a struggle. There is no one to help bring up bags. I was alone and the baby was asleep in his stroller and I can’t leave him in room to get our bags out of the locked location. Meanwhile she walkie talkies someone to bring up the pack and play. They have no AC…I probably should have started the review with this. you have to sleep in 74 degree (+) rooms. They offer a fan since they have no AC in the spring. I lived in the neighborhood for 15 years and often frequent city hotels and this was just a beyond unpleasant experience. Total disappointment and the overpriced. Stay on 64th at the affinia gardens. Written by a disappointed Bonvoy member. I typically refer my company to this hotel…absolutely never again

Absolutely terrible! Stayed there for 1 night for a hospital appointment. Walls are paper thin. You can hear person sneezing in the next room. The hotel itself has seen better days. Did not sleep all night because of the noise next door:(

While the hotel is in a good location, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a very deep sleeper. The walls are thin between rooms and many of the beds sag, with one side much higher than the other. The second night I moved to a corner suite, which was working well until I heard a baby crying next door for much of the night. Some of these might be non-issues if you stay here off-season and arrive early enough.

These rooms and the hotel in general needs a renovation. It seems a little run down and outdated. The elevators are extremely slow and the rates are extremely high for what you get. However when staying in the upper east side you have very few options. We stayed here because it was 2 blocks from our sons apartment. It does offer walkability to some restaurants and bars. Service from the lobby staff was good. They were nice and helped me fairly quickly with questions.

Stayed here 1 night while our pup had surgery next door at the ASPCA. The staff is very knowledgeable & friendly. Room was a king standard. Small but cozy & clean.
