I recently stayed at the New York Hilton Midtown, and I want to highlight the exceptional service we received from our housekeeper, Anna Jaworowski. From the moment we arrived, Anna was incredibly attentive and welcoming, always greeting my sister and me with a warm smile. Even though we declined daily housekeeping, Anna never failed to check in with us. She consistently offered fresh towels and would do a quick tidy-up, which I really appreciated since I was working from the room most days. Her thoughtfulness and friendly demeanor truly stood out — she was, without a doubt, the kindest and most personable member of the hotel staff we encountered. Anna made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable, and we’re genuinely grateful for her care and professionalism.

My company booked our stay here for a convention, which was very nice and accommodating the event space and convention services were well organized. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stopped. The hotel itself feels quite dated. The elevators, hallways, and guest rooms all have a tired, 1980s look. The fixtures in my room were old, and the carpet and overall feel reminded me more of a nursing home than a modern Hilton. Service was also disappointing. When calling the front desk, I was cut off multiple times and didn’t feel the level of friendliness or attentiveness I typically expect from the Hilton brand. Interestingly, a colleague of mine stayed on a lower floor in what appeared to be a renovated room theirs felt much more modern and refreshed. It’s unfortunate there isn’t more consistency throughout the property. Overall, while the convention experience was good, the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. I’m unsure if I would choose to stay here again.

If you’re a Hilton Honors Diamond member, this is a great spot to stay. Rooms are clean, they will come and make the bed, refresh the towel, and empty the trash everyday. The rooms have actual bathtubs… which is not always the case these days. The ice makers work well and quickly. The location is great if you’re planning on touring Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, Bryant Park, or even Times Square. Tons of really great restaurants close by; I recommend going to Azuma for rice or noodle bowls… or just the sweet potato fries because those were the best I’ve had anywhere. If you are a diamond member, the executive lounge serves breakfast in the morning and snacks in the afternoon, but it’s always open for a latte, soda, water bottles, or fruit (the had apples and bananas when we were there).

I had a great stay at the Hilton Midtown. Check-in, room upgrade, and check-out were all very smooth and easy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. There can be a bit of a wait for the elevators, which is slightly inconvenient, but nothing too bothersome. The location is perfect, right in the center of New York, with taxis always available and plenty of restaurants and shops around. A nice extra perk: $35 per day to spend at the hotel’s restaurants. Overall, a very good experience. Highly recommend!

Really glad we chose Hilton midtown. Great hotel. Good location. Nice friendly staff. Bed really comfortable. Clean and tidy. No noise from the street but was on the 41 st. floor. A bath. We had the option of executive lounge and it was fantastic.
