It was a first visit to MYND for my husband and I, and our ultimate recommendation is that we booked to come back next year, while we were still there! We arrived late, following a delay to our flight, but check in was smooth, and the reception staff made sure we had a coffee before we retired for the night. Rooms were spacious and immaculate - as were all communal areas of the hotel. We opted to have the room cleaned on alternate days, although daily was available. Bedding was changed twice during that time, and the house staff were polite and friendly in passing. Beds were very comfortable, there was a small fridge, a free safe, plenty storage for clothing, and a decent wall-mounted TV. Plenty options for lighting in the rooms, with both large and smaller light combinations, depending on the time of day. Bathroom was also excellent with a brilliant shower - although it felt a bit strange coming out of the bathroom to wash your hands, as the sink wasn't in the bathroom - it wasn't an issue though once we were used to it - and the sink was well-lit with a large mirror. There was plenty space for toiletries and the provided hairdryer was very good. The next 7 days proved to be the chilled, relaxed experience that we'd wanted when we booked - with good food, hand mixed cocktails, and exceptional staff - nothing was too much trouble. The flexi-credit for half board was a great idea, although next time we'll go Bed and Breakfast to try and force us out and about more - to be honest, we neither wanted nor needed any adventure from our holiday this year, as we wanted to chill completely - and we did... On the topic of relaxation - the pool area was spotless, always beds available and fresh towels daily if you wished. The loungers were in excellent condition, with plenty of shade available from either good positioning or indeed from the many parasols. Fernando, who was a constant presence at the pool bar, was a pleasure to deal with - he mixed brilliant cocktails, always with a smile and a recommendation if we needed one. The restaurant was spotless and well looked after, with plenty staff making sure tables were always available. It was buffet style for breakfast, which was provided daily until 11:30, and table service through booked slots for dinner up til 22:30. Bright, airy, bustling in the evening, but never overcrowded, we were very well served by all the waiting staff, with special mentions for both Diego and Miguel who couldn't do enough to ensure a great experience. The rooftop bar was a glorious setting for a cocktail whilst watching the sun set - I got some beautiful pictures of both sunset and cocktails! Once again, skilled, attentive and friendly staff mixed and brought our drinks. In the reception area, the foyer was bright and airy with plenty of combinations for seating and lounging. Board games were available, and my husband and I did have a game of chess (won't say who won...) Free filtered water was available in various areas of the hotel, and we took advantage of this - another small attention to detail that stood out for us. In conclusion, a brilliant experience, where much thought is clearly invested in the comfort and enjoyment of guests at the hotel – reflected entirely in the chilled and friendly atmosphere throughout!

Beautiful, Modern and Welcoming - Great Food, Lovely Rooms and Exceptional Service! Beautiful hotel, very modern and clean. On arrival, we were asked if we wanted to receive a couple of free drink vouchers in exchange for our room being cleaned every other day (rather than every day) which we were happy to do. We did the half board, this included the breakfast buffet and then 28€ per person per day to spend however we liked (dinner, drinks, pool snacks etc). We aren’t big drinkers so this covered dinner every night and a cocktail during the day. The option to add more money to your “room wallet” can be done in reception or you pay by cash/card. Very big beds, comfy mattress. Only down side, is the pillows are quite small in comparison to the bed. Big shower with good water pressure, body wash and shampoo included. A proper hairdryer is under the sink, the wardrobe has a safe and there’s a good sized mini fridge. A few glasses and bottle opener as well. Just a shame there isn’t a kettle or coffee machine in the room. We had a ground floor room, with a terrace overlooking the pool. Small table and 2 chairs to sit on outside as well as a subbed (by the looks of the balconies on the upper floors they do not have a subbed). We also had a table with 2 chairs inside and a big beanbag. Although close in proximity to the restaurant and pool, we did not feel like this affected our privacy and did not feel uncomfortable to sit outside. Only thing we could not find was the outdoor light switch, but it never felt like we were sat in the dark. Breakfast buffet has lots to choose from both sweet and savoury. Good coffee machine, variety of fruit juices. Eggs can be made at request, however there was always fried and scrambled eggs in the buffet. Selection of meats and cheeses, including local Canarian/Spanish produce. Selection of fruit and veg varied each day and so did the pastries. Small selection of gluten free cereal, bread and cakes, with a dedicated toaster. Breakfast is served from 7:30-11:30 which is probably the longest service period I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Main pool area has plenty of sun beds, always found a pair together with a parasol and table. There’s also a pool bar, they make great cocktails and during lunch you can get some food, snacks and ice cream. Good sized pool, before 8am and after 6pm there’s no lifeguard. Pool towels are collected from the lifeguard and can be switched out each day. The rooftop also has a pool and bar, the same on offer as above, and again can’t fault it. Great sunset spot. Dinner - Diego and the team are fantastic! You book a time slot either at reception or during breakfast, there was never a fully booked slot. Menu is via QR code that you scan. Varied selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. The local dishes change every night. All the food we had was delicious. Personally I am coeliac, and they were really accommodating and put me at ease when ordering - majority of the dishes can be made GF as they have a separate prep and cooking area in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. The calamari is stated as gluten containing however described as a cornflour batter - Diego checked with the kitchen and they were able to make this GF for me. Anything I enquired about that they were unsure of, they confirmed with the kitchen if it possible to be made GF. I don’t know how Diego does it, but he remembers who you are and your room number and makes you feel like you are friends. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and it didn’t ever feel overcrowded. All the staff throughout the day, whether at the bars, reception or the restaurant are super friendly and welcoming. They all speak great English and a few have even picked up on “English Banter”. There’s 2 supermarkets and some local restaurants just outside of the hotel and down the road. Overall, we picked this as a package holiday for a bit of winter sun. We couldn’t fault the hotel, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Tenerife and be just outside of the main tourist area.

I had a great time at Mynd Adeje. I traveled solo and spent a few days cycling, alternating with some rest days, and the hotel was perfect for that. It’s quiet and calm — ideal for relaxing when staying in. For other sports, the gym had plenty of equipment and everything you’d expect. The location is slightly more remote than the larger resorts and touristy areas, which I saw as a positive. Still, there are enough bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel's water dispensers to refill your bottle are a great touch. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. During the entire week I stayed, I don’t think I saw a single member of the team without a smile — a great atmosphere overall. Finally, I ate almost every evening at the hotel’s restaurant (I stayed with Flex Board). The food was excellent, and the staff were super friendly — especially Diego.

Me and my boyfriend visited tenerife for a week end of September and decided to extend for two more days. We last minute booked mynd adeje and we’re not disappointed. We had the most amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. It’s clean, cool relaxed and the staff are the most accommodating and happy I have ever seen. From the moment we arrived we felt So welcomed from the lovely lady on reception (whose name I forget apologies mom is from Manchester) thank you . We will definitely be back! And especially a big shout out and appreciation for Fernando at the pool bar he was outstanding and made our days so enjoyable xx

Review from a couple, from England, late 20s/early 30s One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - 5 star accommodation, food, service 😊 What made our stay so special was the perfect, delicious, freshly cooked food and the service team - especially Deigo. He was the absolute best! Friendly, couldn’t do enough for us, helped us speak as much Spanish as we could - what a lovely guy. Pros: - The wallet is a great way to use half board the way YOU want to - The service from everyone was amazing, smiley, kind, and will do anything for you - Lovely welcome and welcome drink - Very clean rooms and hotel communal spaces - Amazing cocktails and smoothies - Perfect food as mentioned above - Lovely pool areas Cons/feedback: - You can only get a towel from 11am - 3pm, which time wise, when you can’t arrive until 3pm, means you loose your first afternoon and morning of having a towel. We wanted one at 8:30am on the first day, but had to wait until 11am. - Our room had an inland view, and we got a balcony overlooking the car park and directly in eye line of everyone walking into the reception area. Not ideal for privacy reasons, but it didn’t ruin our stay. The cons are feedback based only and didn’t affect our stay negatively. We would definitely come back😊 Thanks everyone!🥰
