We had a wonderful stay at Mynd Adeje. We were traveling as a couple and stayed for four nights. The hotel is beautiful, and the room was very spacious and clean. There's even an option to use Chromecast to stream from your personal device to the room's tv. We slept well despite the slightly thin walls (we were right by the elevator as well), and the breakfast spread was truly a highlight. As swimmers we were delighted to find that lane lines were put in the main pool every evening at 6 until the following morning at 10, so we enjoyed several swims. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant one night and were not disappointed. Our server, a lovely gentleman from Venezuela, was fantastic. The view from the rooftop bar at sunset was beautiful. The reception desk staff were very helpful, especially Silvia, who was exceptionally friendly and provided us with lots of great tips. We even rented a car from the Avis kiosk in the lobby for a day trip into the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (about an hour drive), which was very convenient. There are many restaurants (not all with authentic Canarian food, but great variety if you're missing home), bakeries, and grocery stores just minutes away on foot. The area is slightly more remote, which had its pros and cons. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation with a resort feel, this is the perfect spot.

We had such a wonderful week at Mynd and were very sad to go! A few highlights: The staff - everyone we encountered was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. For instance, I happened to pop to reception the night before we checked out and, unprompted, the receptionist offered to organise us a picnic as we would miss breakfast due to an early check out time. Food / drinks - we were bed and breakfast, the breakfasts were healthy, fresh and plenty of choice. Cocktails / smoothies from the bars were always freshly made and delicious. Amenities - the 2 pools (1 small infinity on the rooftop and the other bigger downstairs) had plenty of sun beds although I appreciate we were visiting in a quieter season when maybe demand was lower. We found all communal spaces and our room to be modern, clean, and well looked after. The rooftop area is a real bonus with incredible sunset views. Eco-friendly - I feel the review of the previous reviewer is a little unfair on this as we found real effort towards eco-friendliness, such as: water refill stations; no plastic cups or straws; clear notices abut what to do if you don’t need your towels / bedding changed; Mynd’s donation to an environmental charity for every time towels are reused; breakfast buffet having a proportionate amount of food out so as not to be wasteful. Comfortable hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Attractive pool with enough loungers for those who wanted them. Delicious breakfast and plenty of good restaurants an easy walk away. The local beach is small but the whole atmosphere is much calmer than at Playa de las Americas.

Just left the hotel after a week staying there, lots of positive things to mention, staff are excellent so kind and helpful, the breakfast is FAB, location is good and lots of nice places nearby for lunch and dinner. Bus to more central places is very near and cheap/easy to use. My only gripe with Mynd Hotel is the lunch and dinner in the hotel is really lacking, it is quite a surprise considering that the breakfast is truly spectacular but the other meals leave a lot to be desired. I would definitely recommend the hotel but ensure you have lunch or dinner booked elsewhere, the spa is wonderful and decent prices and the whole ecological thing is wonderful to see and we welcomed that massively.

I would like to explicitly recommend the asana wellness. I had two massages with Vanessa, and they were blissful. If I had stayed longer I would definitely have booked another massage. Thank you Vanessa! Other than that, the staff was on point! They were so friendly; every single one of them. That made the experience 100% better. Especially Fernando at the pool bar, made a party every day. Love the dedication.
