Fabulous hotel with amazing staff. All of the staff in this hotel are really friendly. Carol is lovely, she talks to all the guests and always has a great smile for everyone. The waiters remember what you are drinking and get fresh drinks for you straight away. There are always plenty of comfortable sun loungers available, and fresh towels every day for the loungers. Rooms are immaculate, the friendly maids clean them thoroughly every day. Really enjoyed the variety of food in the restaurant & would definitely return.

We have stayed here for 10 nights and have really enjoyed our stay. The food has been excellent with a lot of choice. The pool area has a good number of loungers that are managed (so people can’t hold them with towels easily). The pool is well maintained and has a bar next to it for drinks and lunch. The service from staff in all areas of the hotel is excellent. The receptionist who checked us in (Carolina) was very friendly and helpful. Staff are quick to clear plates and glasses and are very polite. The room was a little basic, but very clean (including the bathroom), with a decent balcony area. Rooms cleaned everyday to a good standard. The hotel is well located to key attractions, such as the Yumbo Centre, and you can easily catch buses to other parts of the island from stops that are less than 10 minutes from the hotel door. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for singles and couples. If you are LGBT, the hotel and island are very safe and welcoming, with a vibrant gay scene. We would stay here again.

An amazing hotel to stay. We were there for 11 nights and were made to feel so welcome by the attentive staff. Food was excellent and on some nights was themed to various world cuisines. Food was of a high standard and we loved the fact that they did certain dishes in the form of tapas which made it even more bootable and allowed you to taste various dishes at once. The pool area was very well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and we had the sun all day. The snack bar was also very well managed and served a great selection of drinks and food (not your usual poolside food) which surprised us. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. Staff from start to end of holiday were so friendly and approachable and this made our time at the Neptuno even more special. The staff are a great asset to this Hotel. We loved it so much that we are returning next year and have booked it already and extended it to 14 nights ! See you all next year, you have created an excellent vibe in your hotel that we have never experienced before at any other, we thank you so much for making our holiday so special and so relaxing.

Returned from this fabulous hotel on 22 August. I have limited mobility and would probably not recommend it to anyone who is permanently in a wheelchair . In saying this the hotel staff (special mention to Carol - The customer experience manager and The restaurant manager) did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable, enjoyable and as easy as possible. They gave me and my husband access to the service lift which gave us access into the bar and restaurant without navigating the stairs. I still have to walk up/down some stairs though with the help of my husband who had the carry my chair up/down. It was well worth the effort as it was one of the friendliest hotels we have stayed in , and very handy for the Yumbo Centre (Bars/Restaurants/shopping ) x Thank you Neptuno you were fabulous ❤️😘

In my opinion, this is by no means a 4-star hotel, for the following reasons: • Lack of proper maintenance: faulty taps, malfunctioning system to switch from bathtub to shower head, and above all, recurring hot water problems. The sudden alternation between freezing cold and scalding hot water makes showering extremely unpleasant. • Visible water damage: signs of damp and leaks on the door, on the bathroom ceiling, and in the common areas. Repairs seem to consist merely of covering up the damage with plaster rather than carrying out proper restoration. • Insufficient amenities: no slippers, no bathrobes, no beach towels (these must be requested from the lifeguard at the pool, which is quite unusual for a hotel of this category). • Limited facilities: the spa, although pleasant, is far too small and only partially open. The swimming pool is unheated and therefore barely usable; the slide is unsafe (I personally scraped my back on the pool floor when landing). Sun loungers are systematically reserved at dawn by certain guests who then use them for barely an hour during the day, which is extremely frustrating considering the price paid. No jacuzzi is available. • General appearance: the hotel looks outdated and would clearly benefit from a thorough renovation. • Clientele: the overall atmosphere is dominated by an older crowd. During my two-week stay, I did not encounter a single young guest. I would also like to point out the inappropriate attitude of some heterosexual guests who complained about the supposedly “large” number of gay guests, even though they are in the majority. • Noise issues: rooms are poorly soundproofed, so one can hear conversations as well as intimate activities of the neighbors, both day and night. Earplugs are essential. • Breakfast: acceptable but with limited choice. It is also not possible to enjoy it outdoors, which is disappointing. • Housekeeping schedule: although the cleaning itself is done very well, rooms are not ready before noon or 1 p.m., even when vacated as early as 9 a.m. Positive points: • Friendly and helpful staff. • Housekeeping carried out to a very high standard. • Excellent location.
