Mulia Resort - Nusa Dua

We recently stayed at Mulia Resort and were truly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and stunning beauty of the property. From the sparkling pool to the well-maintained gardens and spotless rooms, everything was pristine and well looked after. The resort grounds are truly a feast for the eyes. One of the major highlights of our stay was the staff – especially the bartenders, lifeguards, security personnel, and wait staff. They were all warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Their dedication and hospitality didn’t go unnoticed. However, the experience at the check-in and check-out counters was a stark contrast. The staff there came across as stiff and unwelcoming, almost like airport customs officers rather than hospitality professionals. It felt as though they had been instructed not to engage politely with guests, which was a disappointing first and last impression. The biggest letdown during our stay was the food. For a resort of this caliber, we expected a lot more variety and creativity in the menu. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was repetitive throughout our six-day stay, with the same items appearing each day. Even more surprising was that, on some occasions, the Indian options for breakfast and dinner were exactly the same. As guests with dietary preferences leaning towards Indian cuisine, we genuinely struggled to find satisfying meals at the resort. Overall, while Mulia Resort delivers on aesthetics, cleanliness, and some truly wonderful staff, there is definitely room for improvement in guest service at reception and, most importantly, in the dining experience.

Amazing experience for families. We didn't even want to leave the resort. The kids pool is fantastic, kids club has amazing staff and the dining options are incredible. For a family living and working in Sydney, this was the perfect escape, unbelievably good value for money.

The Mulia Suites. Luxurious accommodation where we experienced direct sea-views from our large balcony. Many pools & swim-up pool bar kept immaculately clean. Beautiful grounds well maintained with buggy transfers to the different areas of the resort. Fantastic service from all staff - so helpful & friendly & attentive. Extensive restaurant options (Western, Indonesian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese etc) with quality wine selections. Quiet beach area in front of the resort with direct beach access & on-beach serviced beach lounges. Felt a world-away from the usual hustle & bustle of the busier areas of Bali.

I WILL BE BACK! And this time, for longer! 4 nights was definitely not enough time at this beautiful resort! So much to do, plenty of pool side lounges and a huge array of dining options. Their buffet breakfast was immaculate, their staff PHENOMENAL! We had such a great time and super family/kid friendly! Our little one love the kids club and we couldn’t keep her away on a daily basis!

The Mulia staff are phenomenal. They are always smiling & helpful. Very sweet staff - housekeeping, front desk, concierge, bell hop, wait & bar staff, lifeguards, security - everyone is happy and courteous. The grounds & facility are clean & neatly designed. We were put on to this resort by a travel agent and they sure knew it would be a hit. We visited midapril, still humid but less guests in the resort made it enjoyable. I hope to visit again - our stay of 5 days was too short!
