Just stayed as part of a group. The customer service from booking through departure was outstanding, they made planning a trip for a group of teens to NYC so much easier than it could have been. Between having rooms ready in a prompt manner, to storing our luggage on departure in an easily accessible, but secure, spot, it was so easy. The rooms were small, but that's New York for you. Housekeeping went above and beyond, and the lounge area above the lobby was good for the teens to hang out (with at least one chaperone) until it was time to go to rooms. Only negative is that the elevators do take a while, so plan a little extra time for that. All in all, when I do this again, without hesitation, the Moxy will be my first call in the planning process.

I’m probably the wrong demographic for this hotel. Rooms were clean but tiny. Like the full size bed touches two walls and the TV you s just above your feet on the wall the bottom of the bed touches. No real desk to speak of, weird fold out “chair” that is about a comfortable as a fold out luggage stand. Bathroom reminded me of a “wet room” in an RV where the shower and toilet share the same space. Not even a shower curtain to separate the two. Weird little sink in the hallway near the door instead of being in the bathroom. Again, it was clean. Just weird.

My partner and I stayed at Moxy for 4 nights and we had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt that the hotel was attentive, friendly, and very fun. Location was amazing and close to the subway station. Rooms were very artsy and surprisingly had a lot of storage space. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were much appreciated. We got $30 credit daily to use at their bar or cafe, which paid for our daily breakfast. They also lend out a Polaroid camera and give you 10 pictures a day! My only qualms were that there is no fan in the bathroom and we had a rude bartender on the first night there. Otherwise, we had lots of fun staying here and would definitely do it again.

Booked this hotel for a short 3 night stay in a queen room. When we got to the room, I was sure the bed wasn’t a queen despite being told it was. Are queen beds smaller in NYC? We then got upgraded to a king bed, but we were on the 16th floor. Loud music and bass from the nightclub until after 3am. Needless to say, didn’t sleep. HOWEVER, the staff here are absolutely the best. They will take care of you. It’s not their fault the music is loud, but they moved us to another room the next day. Honestly, everyone working there is great. I would suggest if you have any issues just to speak with a staff member instead of waiting until after your stay is done. They will try really hard to make you happy. The hotel itself charges $30 resort fee per night, but you also have $30 credit to use at the bar or coffee shop adjacent. Not too bad, and it’s well advertised on their website so shouldn’t be a surprise. Good luggage storage downstairs for free. Elevators are a bit weird to get used to, you select where you want to go on a panel, and it’ll direct you to one of four elevators. There are no buttons inside so you really need to take the elevator you’re assigned to. All in all, great time spent in NYC and thank you Moxy crew for your good work. I wish I remembered the staff members names, but everyone provided super service.

Came here for a family 13th Birthday celebration and was not disappointed! The staff put up Golden Girls decorations in the room, left us a bag full of complimentary gifts, and balloons. Every member of staff was super helpful, and they made our stay awesome. The rooms were good for staying a night or two, and had an amazing bathroom. There weren’t any food options located at the hotel, but that’s okay. The hotel claims it is in Times Square, but it’s a few blocks down. Overall 4/5
