Just stayed as part of a group. The customer service from booking through departure was outstanding, they made planning a trip for a group of teens to NYC so much easier than it could have been. Between having rooms ready in a prompt manner, to storing our luggage on departure in an easily accessible, but secure, spot, it was so easy. The rooms were small, but that's New York for you. Housekeeping went above and beyond, and the lounge area above the lobby was good for the teens to hang out (with at least one chaperone) until it was time to go to rooms. Only negative is that the elevators do take a while, so plan a little extra time for that. All in all, when I do this again, without hesitation, the Moxy will be my first call in the planning process.

Great location and hotel. Giving 4 stars as the rooms are pretty small (bunk beds for all four of us) and the shared space (a bar) was not ideal for a young family. Loved the use of Polaroid camera and umbrellas. If you get to choose a room select internal as you will avoid having police sirens keeping you awake all night.

I Loved it very much. Not much space to place your stuff but many people just come for 1 or 2 nights (business stay etc.). There was enough room to store your shoes under the bed and on the shelf I could place all my clothes for the week. Extremely nice and helpful staff. We loved David S.who helped us a lot in the beginning, but the others were great, too :-) Thank you heaps, take care!! xx

My partner and I stayed at Moxy for 4 nights and we had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt that the hotel was attentive, friendly, and very fun. Location was amazing and close to the subway station. Rooms were very artsy and surprisingly had a lot of storage space. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were much appreciated. We got $30 credit daily to use at their bar or cafe, which paid for our daily breakfast. They also lend out a Polaroid camera and give you 10 pictures a day! My only qualms were that there is no fan in the bathroom and we had a rude bartender on the first night there. Otherwise, we had lots of fun staying here and would definitely do it again.

Booked this hotel for a short 3 night stay in a queen room. When we got to the room, I was sure the bed wasn’t a queen despite being told it was. Are queen beds smaller in NYC?
We then got upgraded to a king bed, but we were on the 16th floor. Loud music and bass from the nightclub until after 3am. Needless to say, didn’t sleep.
HOWEVER, the staff here are absolutely the best. They will take care of you. It’s not their fault the music is loud, but they moved us to another room the next day. Honestly, everyone working there is great. I would suggest if you have any issues just to speak with a staff member instead of waiting until after your stay is done. They will try really hard to make you happy.
The hotel itself charges $30 resort fee per night, but you also have $30 credit to use at the bar or coffee shop adjacent. Not too bad, and it’s well advertised on their website so shouldn’t be a surprise. Good luggage storage downstairs for free. Elevators are a bit weird to get used to, you select where you want to go on a panel, and it’ll direct you to one of four elevators. There are no buttons inside so you really need to take the elevator you’re assigned to.
All in all, great time spent in NYC and thank you Moxy crew for your good work. I wish I remembered the staff members names, but everyone provided super service.
