We stayed at the Moxy Hotel at Times Square in December 2025 and we absolutely loved it. The rooms are not the biggest but they are practical and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the blinds made the room dark. There was some audible loud partying on the Saturday and Sunday night and you could hear the Manhattan traffic with sirens and things but for us that was totally acceptable given the superb location. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, we were given 20$ to spend each day at the cafe or the bar and we were also given a free statue of liberty ferry boat tour. There was free flowing coffee on the second floor from 7am-10am which I much appreciated. This would only be topped by a kettle or some coffee machine in the room. The gym is amazing and of good size. Allover I can only recommend this hotel. Thank you so much to all the team for making our stay so wonderful!

I had a fantastic stay at the Moxy Hotel Times Square. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything, close to the subway and path, yet surprisingly quiet once inside. The hotel has a really trendy, modern vibe as well as a rooftop bar, and cafe that makes the whole experience feel very fun. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, which made a big difference. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the room felt well-kept and comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, convenient, and enjoyable place to stay in New York.

A completely disappointing experience before even booking. There is zero information online about the actual size of the beds, and since we are two larger adults, I needed to know if their so-called “single beds” were even remotely suitable for people who are 1.80m tall. This is the kind of basic detail any competent hotel should be able to answer instantly. I emailed Moxy Times Square twice, asking for straightforward information about the real dimensions of the beds in the bunk room. Their replies? “Check our website” which, of course, says nothing. “They are 4 single beds” as if “single” magically explained everything. At this point it genuinely felt like speaking a different language. If a hotel is already this evasive, unhelpful, and vague before taking your money, imagine how they handle problems once you’re actually there. This level of customer care is simply unacceptable. A hotel that cannot provide the most basic information about its own rooms should seriously reconsider whether it’s ready to welcome guests at all. *EDIT* This response clearly shows that you do not genuinely care about your customers and that you rely on pre-written, automated replies without actually reading the reviews. In my review I was addressing a completely different issue — I never even stayed at your property. Evidently, the review was not read at all. This only reinforces how pleased I am to have booked elsewhere, at a hotel where customer service is genuinely superior and where the guest truly comes first, not just in words.

Our stay at Moxy Times Square was absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. The daily credit for the cafe is such a convenient and thoughtful touch—it made grabbing a coffee or a quick bite so easy and enjoyable. The snacks in the lobby are another delightful bonus. It’s such a nice perk to be able to grab a little treat throughout the day. But the real cherry on top was coming down on Thanksgiving morning to find turkey sandwiches waiting for us in the lobby—it was the sweetest surprise and really made us feel at home. Not to mention, the location is unbeatable! We were able to catch amazing views of the Thanksgiving parade just steps from the lobby—such an incredible experience. And, of course, the staff were impeccable. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. It's rare to encounter such thoughtful hospitality at every level. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Times Square. Highly recommend!

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff was great, the amenities were perfect and the overall vibe is fun and modern. The location is unbeatable because you are just blocks away from everything, which makes exploring the city incredibly easy. I did have a few issues during my stay. First, the room was much smaller than expected. We had a king bed, but it was pushed up against the wall, which meant my wife had to crawl over me anytime she needed to get out of bed. The room also didn’t have a closet or an iron and ironing board, which made it a little inconvenient when we were trying to get ready. The elevator setup was another challenge. You select your floor on a screen and it assigns you an elevator, but it doesn’t account for how many people are being sent to the same one. Because of that, we spent a lot of time waiting just to get to our room. Aside from those things, the hotel is stylish, clean and in a prime location. With a few adjustments, it could easily be a five-star experience.
