To be honest a colleague and I were here on business but, by the end of our stay, we were feeling relaxed, well and dare I say, pampered! This is a “wellness resort” that absolutely delivers on that promise. Excellent reception, service, ambience with a garden oasis and pool out in back that really makes you forget that you’re in Bangkok’s noisy central business district. Once you’re inside you’ll find an excellent Thai restaurant, a large breakfast room looking out on the garden where we enjoyed an incredible breakfast every morning complete with Western and local options, fresh exotic fruit and even fresh squeezed fruit & vegetable juice cocktails. There is a spa inside (no, I didn’t have time to enjoy it) and a complete medical clinic out front so what you might call an “integrated wellness” concept. We shared a room to save our company some money on a 3 night stay and they kindly upgraded us to a suite with two bathrooms, one half and one full and a sitting room, both of which made our stay more comfortable and even conducive to work as the sitting room became office space. But what an office! The room had two terraces facing out onto the garden’s waterfall so the sound of running water helped us sleep soundly and, just in case that wasn’t enough, there was a night relaxation music player next to the bed! 😄 We also rented a conference room for a business meeting that went well, also we believe for the image the nice facilities gave us. There as well, very good service and no “haggling for extras”. We had agreed on price and services before hand but every little thing we asked for was given quickly, with pleasure and at no extra charge by the friendly Thai staff. Prices were, compared to European standards, quite fair and the quality of the place and the experience made it worth every cent spent. Next time I’m in Bangkok I’ll ask for this hotel, and yes, I would take my whole family for a vacation!

A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Bangkok!
My recent stay at the Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped into the immaculate grounds, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and luxury. The property is simply stunning.
Wellness is clearly a core theme, evident in every detail. While I only had 3 days, I was delighted by the little surprises I encountered – like hidden relaxation corners and the serene pool area, which was an absolute highlight.
The service was impeccable, especially the front desk staff who were incredibly attentive and helpful. They truly deserve a 7-star rating! And the food? Don't miss the cafe – their avocado toast is the best I've ever had.
The location is ideal: central yet peaceful, with easy access to Central World through the back gate. My only tiny suggestion? Full-length mirrors in the otherwise perfect rooms.
This was a truly memorable stay, and I can't wait to return with my family to fully experience everything this wonderful resort has to offer. Highly recommended!

Stayed on 31 Dec 24 to celebrate new year in Bangkok. Booked 2 rooms. We arrived early and check in but were told to come back at 2pm for the rooms and was told that our luggage will be brought to the room so when we came back at 4pm the 2 rooms were still not available and the receptionist seems to forgot what she told us and our luggage were still in the lobby. Service is bad. Even after past 2 hours when the hotel was supposed to give the guest their room but still our rooms were not ready. Shower water pressure is horrible as the cool and hot water is not consistent so in between shower tend to get burn by the hot water. The hot and cold water mixer is dated. For the price paid there are many other hotels in Bangkok which will have better bathroom with good water flow and better service. Been to Bangkok many times and this is the worse hotel that I ever stayed. It brings down the branding of Movenpick.

Staying here now and I must say very disappointed. This hotel is tired, staff aren’t as warm as other Moevenpicks. Reception check in was ordinary. Room service cold. Bathroom drains clogged so shower has run all over the bathroom, something forgotten most times after cleaning the room. Such hard floors no carpet or rugs in the room so not nice underfoot. Petty things like the fresh juice station at breakfast has so many fruit options but you have to order very specific combinations. This hotel appears to have a captive audience with people recovering from medical procedures next door so maybe they don’t care. If the manager is reading this and would like to contact me please feel free. The same issues have been highlighted in other reviews for the past 12 months so guessing there’s no intention of fixing them.

The hotel and grounds were immaculate. Room was sizeable and equipped with every amenity you could need. Very quiet and peaceful; it was like a little green oasis in the middle of the city. We only ate at Nourish for breakfast, the buffet was well laid out and very well stocked, with plenty of variety to cater for all tastes. The bar was lovely, with great cocktails, and the spa was beautiful- we had a lovely massage there. This hotel was an unexpected surprise. Would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking great service, peaceful surrounds and quality amenities.
