Fantastic resort which is well away from any hustle and bustle. You’ll need to use Grab to get transported anywhere when you want (although they do offer a completely shuttle a few times a day). Good range of in resort activities for families if that’s your thing however we came just to chill. The food at both restaurants is good but nothing to base a holiday or an evening out around, it does the job. The pools are absolutely lovely. However when we were here the filters weren’t working and so they had a standby one sitting beside the pool doing the circulations, it meant that the turtles had no water blowing out their mouths! Rooms are clean and well presented in a nice albeit slightly dated Asian vibe. Staff are incredibly warm, charming and happy to go out of their way to make you stay a pleasure.

Spacious room with great price! We got a villa to ourselves with our own little pool. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool is in a good size and well cleaned as well. Love the shower and the bathtub. Wish that the lock is a little more secured so we feel a bit more at ease inside but apart from that everything is good. Breakfast choices were fine and the taste was okay as well. I expected more from a Thai breakfast buffet but it wasn’t bad. Staffs were nice and welcoming!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful pool villa – 4/5 We stayed one week at Mövenpick Asara Resort between Cha-am and Hua Hin – two adults and our 15-year-old son – and had a great time overall. The resort is stunning, and our pool villa was spacious, private, and well-maintained. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fresh options, and while the restaurant prices weren’t cheap, they were on par with typical hotel rates. The fitness room was small but had what we needed. There were a few small drawbacks: • The beds were a bit too firm for our taste. • Leaves in the pool were only cleared once during our stay, which could be improved. • The air conditioning was tricky to balance – quite cold during the day and too warm at night. • The area had quite a lot of mosquitoes, likely due to the lush garden surroundings and water features. The beach is accessible for a couple of hours during low tide, and the resort is about 15 minutes from Hua Hin center by Grab. All in all, a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. We’d give it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it, especially for couples or families looking for a relaxing, private time.

I just returned from a weekend stay with my family, and we had an amazing time! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, not far from the beach and nearby attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with many choices, both Thai and international. One of the best parts of our stay was the mini foam party by the pool, which was perfect for the kids to cool off and have fun. They had a blast! The hotel also has a large and beautiful pool where we could relax. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we will definitely come back to Movenpick Hua Hin again!

We enjoyed 6 days at Mövenpick Asara pool villa, which included breakfast, half board and a massage. Honestly a brilliant experience. Rooms were clean, very private and comfortable. The resort facilities are excellent and we had a couple of days where we hardly left the resort. Mr Joey came around one evening and introduced himself to us and we had a nice chat with him while Cindy at the restaurant was very accommodating and remembered not only our room number but also how we liked our meals.
