An absolutely wonderful stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin. The resort is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We also enjoyed dining at Baan Dum Restaurant, where the atmosphere was elegant and the food was delicious. The pool and beachfront atmosphere were perfect for relaxation. Highly recommended, and I would love to come back again.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Movenpick. From check in onwards the team were nothing short of fantastic. The accomodation is so well maintained and you can tell the staff really work hard in its presentation. Whilst it’s about a 10 minute drive from the main part of town, the hotel offer a free shuttle bus multiple times a day, easily booked via reception. We stayed in a private pool villa that was spacious and private. Note though, the pool isn’t heated and quite cool during cooler months. The meals at both restaurants were fantastic with a variety of local and western options. Special mention to Arm for always starting our day with a friendly smile. Cocktails were also delicious, thanks to Sky who always served us with a smile. The service from Joey and his team is a real credit to them. We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

I stayed from 17–19 December as an Accor member. Room: The room size was good and spacious; however, it had a noticeable old and humid smell. I also found ants on the bed during my stay. The bathroom drainage was not very effective, with water draining slowly. Restaurant & Facilities: The beach bar experience was disappointing. At the time of my visit, only one staff member was handling the entire operation despite many guests, which resulted in slow service and a lack of attention. The beach bar menu was also quite limited. On a positive note, the restaurant Baan Dam offered good food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere — this was a highlight of the stay. Service: The front desk staff were polite and helpful. However, overall, the experience did not fully meet the Mövenpick standards I’ve experienced at other locations. Overall, an average stay with some good points, but there is room for improvement, especially in room maintenance and restaurant staffing.

We had a generally pleasant stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin and there were several things we truly appreciated. The resort is calm, private, and relaxing. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and suitable for families. The staff deserve a special thank you — they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Any time we needed assistance, someone arrived to our villa within 5 minutes, which was truly impressive. Also, we really appreciated that the bathrooms are equipped with hose options suitable for Arab guests. The in-room bathtub was also large and comfortable, which added to the relaxing experience. However, there are some areas that need improvement considering the resort’s premium level. Although the villa had three televisions, there were no Arabic channels and no ability to connect to YouTube, Netflix, or other streaming services — something that is expected nowadays in 2025. The breakfast was also limited and repetitive, and unfortunately there were no clear halal food options available, which would be very important for Muslim guests. Another challenge we faced was mosquitoes inside the villa. Although the hotel provided spray, it was not enough to fully manage the issue and it did affect our sleep, especially for the kids. Since the resort is nature-based, better preventive measures would really help guests feel more comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the privacy, the friendliness of the staff, the quick service, and some thoughtful facilities. With improvements in technology, breakfast variety, halal options, and stronger pest control, this resort has the potential to offer an excellent experience.

Beyond 5 stars – an unforgettable family experience! ​ Our stay at Mövenpick was nothing short of extraordinary. The service was outstanding, but what truly made our trip special was the amazing staff. A huge thank you to Nook, Ton, Wee, Joey, Paul, and Ka-Thai for taking such incredible care of us. ​ They went above and beyond to solve everything for us, and their hospitality felt more like being with family than being just guests. My daughters even said that a 5-star rating isn't high enough to describe how good it was! ​We can warmly recommend this place to everyone looking for world-class service with a personal touch. We will definitely be back!
