Wow - where to start. We have just finished a one month stay. From start to finish this hotel is the best we have ever experienced. All of the staff are exceptional and extremely helpful and friendly. The size, quality and cleanliness of the rooms was brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for the room staff. We loved the pool access room. The breakfast buffet is simply amazing with the delicious choices and quality of food. Apart from all the great healthy food there is also a lot of delicious treats available for those with a sweet tooth (including ice cream and chocolate). The 3pm free chocolate hour is a must do. The hotel General Manager (Chris), was a delight to meet and he deserves credit for leading a first class team that really helps make your Thailand holiday special. We will be back.

Mövenpick Hotel is in a perfect location in Patong, Phuket — just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for getting around. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with detailed housekeeping every single day. Having both a bathtub and a shower in the room was definitely a plus! The pool was clean and relaxing, and the pool bar was a great place to enjoy some downtime. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had an issue with our flight tickets, and the team kindly made the calls for us and helped solve the problem — we’re really grateful. When we first arrived, we were welcomed with cold towels and refreshing drinks — such a thoughtful gesture after a long journey. We also had lunch at the pool bar; meals were tasty and reasonably priced. Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Patong!

This hotel offers a mixed experience that didn't quite meet its five-star promise. The positives are significant - possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and a truly excellent breakfast buffet with numerous options. The property itself appears attractive at first glance. However, several issues made our stay less than ideal. Most concerning was the floor cleanliness - walking barefoot left my feet noticeably black. When I reported this, they changed our room, but the second room had identical problems despite appearing clean visually. The shower experience was particularly frustrating, with water temperature suddenly spiking to dangerously hot levels every 30 seconds, regardless of the time of day - a clear plumbing issue that needs addressing. We were also surprised by the poor sound insulation. Conversations from neighboring balconies carried so clearly into our room that it felt like people were standing right beside us. Unlike the warm hospitality we encountered everywhere else in Thailand, our initial reception felt unexpectedly cold and unwelcoming, though this improved dramatically after we mentioned it to our travel agent. While not a terrible place to stay, these issues prevented what could have been an excellent experience.

Rooms are nice and food served were all plated beautifully. Given a room with a good view of the entire hotel with pool access. Very popular pool it seems with afternoon crowd and drink parties.
